"Are they actually ghosts, Bones? If so, I do not believe we are going to be safe dealing with them, certainly not in our weakened condition. We may wish to set a strong watch and fully recover from our fight." Talinian does not look forward to fighting such strong undead.
"I'm not entirely sure Talinian," Bones replied, "All I could ascertain from Cinder was that the ten were semi-transparent and engulfed in black energy. Our luck is that they all face away from our entry point to the room." He turns to Gorm, "Before you enter that room though, let me aid you with some protection."
“Thanks, every bit helps!” Gorm says with a smile. “And I’m willing to charge in... but I was brash last time and we barely survived. Are we ready for it this time?”
"Probably not but then we can never be ready for the unknown. However, perhaps Olivia, you should drink my final healing potion," he says to the young paladin. "As a paladin, you are best equipped to fight undead and those statues seems to have focused their attentions on you."
He proffers the potion he took from their fallen comrade after the fight with the wolves. "I have other ways of healing and will try to stay out of any physical fighting," he says with a smile.

(please do this before the Bone's spell is cast. Also, did the detect magic reveal anything about the tablet?)
After determining the chests are empty, Talinian casts mage hand again and uses it check out the tablet, running it over the surface but not trying to lift or move it. Assuming nothing happens, he moves up to and examines it carefully, trying to read anything written.
The ruins light up a little bit, but it does not show what it says. And Talinian can not read it. The only purpose of the tablet is to display the ruins.

(OOC - I'm good)
Just as the group gets to the top of the stairs, Bones says "May Eusoses' darkness protect you," as he puts a hand on Gorm's shoulder and casts Protection from Evil and Good on her. (10mins of disadvantaged attacks against Gorm and can't be charmed, frightened etc.)
And with that, "We're good now," Bones says as he slinks into the shadow, attempting to sneak into the room behind the others (Stealth: 9).

Gorm will lead the way down the stairs, trying to be cautious as she can. She has no particular skills or training in checking for traps but as we've seen a couple already she is going to be on the alert for anything that even could be something...
She will most definitely pause at the last step before barging through any doors or openings, wanting to carefully survey the area before stepping in blindly.
As you are all moving down the stairs almost at the end, Bones missed a step and shouts out.
Gorm finds nothing of interest along the way, but when Bones shouts out all 10 ghosts turn around and look in your direction, and then turn back and face the west archway.

Talinian tenses when the ghosts...or whatever they were but hopefully not ghosts...turn to face them and relaxes only slightly when they turn back. He begins looking for a way around them or any sort of glyph or rune on the ground or walls or even the floor which might trigger an attack.

Olivia shakily waves Talinian off, you can hear a faint "I'll be fine."

(OOC - Bones will cast protection just as they're about to walk through the door.)
(DM - do the runes on the tablet look similar to the celestial we've found before as we have a note and etchings, and hence why we can't read it?)
No they are runes, they can not be read, except for by a specific group of people.

Gorm stands at the ready, just in case, and strains yo listen to see if they’re saying anything like the statues did.
There is plenty of room to move around them they are not blocking the doors.

They're just motionless? Saying nothing?
((Anyone got any ideas or I'll through something across the room to see if they react?))
(OOC - well they seemed to react to the noise, so perhaps stealthing around?)
