Ok cool, I only worry about ones with real monitory value.
The armor is +1 leather.
The book I will put out no matter how it all plays out, but what you discover is only the following:
It is spells on it to protect it from anyone being able to understand or read it, or identify it magically.
It's a bound book, but it's probably works like a spell scroll.
I'll give each glaive's info that way if Korba wants one he can take it.
They are all cursed with the following curses.
All ten Glaives are cursed. First, any creature that becomes attuned to the crown ages 60 times faster than normal, aging 5 years per month and 60 years in a year. It's likely that the aging is too subtle to notice until at least a couple months have passed. Second, once per day at dusk, roll a d20. On a result of 20, an apparition of the general whose glaive was stolen appears. If the wear is slain its soul becomes trapped within the glaive. Until the glaive is destroyed, the soul remains within and the wielder cannot be revived. Third touching the glaive for longer than 6 seconds forces attunement, no one individual can be attituned to more than one, so the only way to unattitune to a glaive is by attuning to another one.
Here are the individual things for each glaive. Talinian and Korba you need to pick one that you will become attuned to.
(Keep in mind that I am reskinning a modular, so it should say wield not wear)
Not finding the book, Talinian turns to Bones. "Return the book to me, NOW, Bones. I will not ask again. Do not dissemble, do not prevaricate, do not lie. You are the only one who would have stolen it. None of the others would care enough to take it while I slept." His voice is cold, flat, a voice of doom, quite unlike any other voice you have ever heard him use before.
Bones looks puzzled at Talinian, "Why so terse? It's not like you can read it. This is the only thing I have said that I definitely wanted to have and it is of no use to you or anyone else for that matter." Bones holds the book up. "You may take another look, but if there is nothing else I take away from this endeavour, this book will be mine," he hands the book back to Talinian for him to look over.
(Also, if Talinian did not pocket the two other books that weren't magical, Bones will pocket those.)
Talinian takes the book without comment and puts in his pack with the other two. "This is the one item you will never have. Why so terse? If you truly do not know, you are a fool. If, as I believe, you are merely playing games, you are still a fool but one a different sort. I now claim this book as my share of the spoils of this mission. I found it, I held it first. I mild request for me to give you what was already in my hand is hardly saying it is the only thing you wanted. You had no right to go into my pack to steal it. I claim it and forego any further share of treasure found in these tombs until such time as everyone has found something."
Taking the other books back out of his pack he tosses them at Bone's feet. "You can have those as your share, if you wish and no one objects."
Bones shakes his head at Talinian, "You are as much a fool as you think I am. That book contains information on things I have studied for years and yet you hoard it like a child. Very well, keep it," he scoops up the two books, "I'll leave you to your precious... toy." Bones will nod to the others and leave with Gorm (who mentioned she would leave if anyone tried to take or play with anything originating from the tomb which Korba is doing. Once they are up top with Gorm, Bones will leaf though the two books, waiting for the others.
(DM question - you mentioned one was a spellbook, what spells do I find? And is there anything in the other book?)
“No matter how long you have studied things, it did not give you the right to root through my things. Even now you could have it with a simple apology for your rudeness and discourtesy. You are clearly one who believe that your mere desire to have something gives you the right to take it. I do not hold with that.”
Bones will nod to the others and leave with Gorm (who mentioned she would leave if anyone tried to take or play with anything originating from the tomb which Korba is doing. Once they are up top with Gorm, Bones will leaf though the two books, waiting for the others.
Gorm was referring to items interred here with the dead and (I) she believes those are items Ingon brought down here so as such taking them would not count as grave robbing. Still, Gorm has had enough of the bickering and the claiming and such and will walk out with Bones. After they step outside, Gorm will run back in, cast Darkness centered at the bottom of the stairs, then head back outside.
"I guess I was hoping to find a team," Gorm says to Bones as she mounts one of the horses. "This is a group of individuals all out for themselves. I shall return proof of Ingon's demise and be done with this. You may stay or come as you wish." Fenian nods to the other horse indicating that there was one left for Bones, and then she takes off.
"Curiosity and thirst for knowledge are powerful motivators Talinian, you of all people should know this. I'm sorry you feel that way, but "finder's keepers" is also no way to determine ownership, as which you have done. I asked for it upon it's discovery and you hoarded it and the other journals. I haven't been around people for some time, but I also believe that such practices are looked at unfavorably. No matter. I'm sorry for rooting through your things, as you put it. Careful what you play with in that book."

(OOC - yeah, the various glaives that Korba was looking at and picking up were all part of the tomb and not Ingon's. That's why I made mention of that :) )
"I guess I was hoping to find a team," Gorm says to Bones as she mounts one of the horses. "This is a group of individuals all out for themselves. I shall return proof of Ingon's demise and be done with this. You may stay or come as you wish."
Bones nods at Gorm before she leaves, "I understand the want for a team and unity, but individuals coming together will always butt heads, it is natural. You and I traveled a long way to get here. While we don't know each other all that well, I do appreciate having you here. Perhaps we wait, share some stories and calm ourselves a while?" (He is hoping to convince her to stay, but if Gorm still wishes to leave, I will play that out later.
"Thank you, Bones," Talinian says with a smile. Reaching into his pack he pulls out the book and hands it to the other wizard. "I appreciate that. I hope you enjoy this book. For the record, I hoarded nothing. I said we would figure out who got what later. A little patience next time, OK." He smiles again, a genuine smile of pleasure. "Now that's resolved, what's next?"
Talinian snorts in disgust at his own foolishness. A cursed weapon...worse a weapon he could not even use. He would have to find a way to break the curse but, for now at least, he would make use of the artifact’s power. He was glad he’s become attuned to the one which helped with his force of personality. For a tiefling, he had alway last felt he was a little...less the other tieflings in that regard.
(Talinian chooses the one that helps with Charisma.)
Waking up the morning after returning to the guild, Talinian felt rested enough to begin scribing the spell scrolls he had longed to make. Sending down for a light but healthy breakfast and large pot of water that he could use to make tea throughout the day, he began laying out the items he would need, along with the special parchment and inks he had purchased the last time they were in town.
"I also need to find out how to break free of this cursed glaive," he said to himself. Just then a knock on the door announced the arrival of his food and the pot of water. After breakfast, he arranged for a note to be sent to Bones. "My dear Bones, when you are done scribing the spells you want from Ignon's book, I would appreciate it if you would send it to me so that I might do the same. Also, please let me know if you are still interested in exchanging spells as we discussed after the incident in the graveyard. Your companion, Talinian the Blue."
That message sent, Talinian got busy creating spell scrolls. Over the next couple of weeks he created three copies of Mage Armor, two of False Life and one each of Chromatic Orb and Ice Knife.
In between creating those scrolls, he sought out various sages and others learned in the magical arts. He sought two things. First, he needed to find someone who could help him break his tie to the cursed glaive. Second, he had just enough gold left to create a scroll of Flaming Sphere and was willing to do so if he could find someone to sell it. To that end, he made inquiries with various purveyors of magic and magic paraphernalia and, also, of bartenders and similar folk. He had learned that such people often knew of those who might be willing to pay for such things. With that money, he could create one, possibly two scrolls of Chromatic Orb cast with a greater power level.
Bones receives the note, and swiftly copies the spells from the Ingon's book. He takes the book to Talinian, "Here you are, my friend. I've copied a couple of spells, but we should hold onto it a while longer as there are some spells that I am yet unable to scribe. Thank you for the offer on your spell book as well, however I might spend some of my time, and gold, crafting some potions for us on our journey."
Any time left, Bones will spend investigating the unreadable book, trying to discern what magics are stopping it from being read and trying to identify a way around the magics so he can read it.
Ok so Talinian spends 425 on making scrolls, over the course of 10 days.
Make a charisma check to see how much you can sell your scroll for (if my understanding is correct you want to sell the Flaming Sphere) base price 500 gold.
Make an intelligence check for me, and an other charisma check for the curse.
(Yes. I’m just not used to tracking components like that.)
