Mia would nod in thanks to Davey for sharing his story.
Mialee would the look to Bones with Talinian. She too was interested in hearing more. “I would like to learn more of these bagpipes as well. I wasn’t lying when I said I had an interest in them.” Mia would activate her divine sense.
Divine sense. As an action, you can detect good and evil. Until the end of your next turn, you can sense anything affected by the hallow spell or know the location of any celestial, fiend, undead within 60 ft. that is not behind total cover.
Bones shrugs at Talinian, "I thought the interrogation was more important, my apologies. It simply summons oozes and jellies, that which we already knew. And as the boy said, sometimes they can be controlled, sometimes not so. An interesting trinket, for sure, that a boy simply came across from a merchant," Bones looks inquisitively at Davey, but says nothing directly to him.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Talinian nods his thanks at Bones then turns to Davey and, without another word, backhands him across the face. "Who was the merchant? Tell us everything about him. Now." Talinian's normally mild, almost scholarly manner is gone now.
Bones what are you looking for from Tilly's grave?
Mia the bagpipes do not have a nature.
To the back hand. "I really don't know, your hit was garbage, but hit me harder, hit me a million times, it doesn't change that he was a traveling merchant, I had never meet him before. He was in town a few days, i keep eyeing the bagpipes, I bought them the day that he was leaving."
(OOC - Bones is trying to find her grave, perhaps her headstone might shed some light on what happened to her. Also, though this is very much secondary, he's looking if there is anything of interest in general around the graveyard.)
Thodin continues to potter around with his equipment and pack, adjusting straps and similar, as the others continue their conversations. At Talinian's question about further suggestions to what should be done, Thodin simply shakes his head and grumbles, "Nothing else that I would suggest, no. You seem to have got information from him, doesn't seem like anything more than simple revenge for years of cruelty... if you believe what he's saying... now it's just bringing him into town for justice."
The Dwarf shrugs, and slings his crossbow over his shoulder, and places a hand on his belt where his warhammer swings.
It is a faily simple graveyard, you manage to find a few section of the grave yard that is sectioned off from the rest. In each section the headstones look a bit nicer, and everyone seems to have the same last name, there are more statues in these sections. One section that you find has the last name Lee, and Skelton on the headstones. After a quick look you find the newest looking stone that reads
"Tilly Hurley Lee loved daughter, beautifal wife, gracious leader. Taken too soon"
Talinian nods his agreement with Thodin. ״I agree, Thodin. You have spoken wisely. And, Mia, thanks again. Well done.” He considers Davey for a moment then, pulling a leather strip from his backpack he tears a piece of cloth from Davey’s shirt and gags the bard.
”it is best not to give him the opportunity to voice any magical utterances. He is a bard after all. Once Bones is done with his investigation we can return to the town.”

(DM Question - how does the earth look around each of these graves? Is any of it been disturbed, like someone has been digging up coffins etc? Investigation if you need it: 12)
with your time in grave yards and your first roll you do not notice any graves looking like they were dug up recently. you do however notice that there is about 50 graves that are heavey with ooze and jelly that look like the creatures you have been fighting.
Mia had tried to reset her face to her usual blank expression, but when Fiume would admit to not picturing her as someone who would play bagpipes, her cheeks would be guilty of turning slightly pink. "It's not something I like to share..." She'd admit in a soft mutter under her breath before clearing her throat.
Mialee would also nod in agreement to Thodin's suggestion. She'd nod to Talinian for the acknowledgement.
We have two to move forward, while my norm is 3 out of 5, I want to make sure that Bones is good to move on, seeing as he was looking and working around.
Having found nothing standing out of what they already know and no closure to what happened to Tilly, Bones returns to the others. "I found the woman's grave, however it did not give any hint as to how she died. But might give some insight as to Raymond, and possibly his necromantic studies. Pure speculation, of course. I have nothing left to do here, that I can think of at this point. Do we wish to return to town?"
Mialee would pause to look at Vur. Should Bone's and he prefer a personal conversation she would provide a polite but firm nod before continuing her way into town.
Talinian reigns in, signalling the group to halt. Vur had fought well against the oozes. He heads over, to the solider. "Thank you again, Vur for your assistance. If there is anything we...I...can do, please let me know." By his tone, he made it clear asking now was not only acceptable but welcome. At the same time, Talinian did his best to convey to the rest of the guardsmen that the conversation between the 5 of them and Vur was private.
"Thank you Master Talinian. Yes Mr. Bones, and Master Talinian, I do have a request, do you know how I could join your guild? I was trianed to fight beast, like those, and others, and I believe being a guard might be a waist. I was wondering if you could put in a word for me with the guild, that is if you could, I don't know how things like this work."

You return to town, you past the guard post on your way, the captian and the guards, they are packing up the camp. Vur looks to you all longingly.
Unless you wish to stop and talk with any of the guards you are free to do what you wish in town.
