Turvy looks back, jumps when he sees Ront, and scowls up at the orc. Mumbling something under his breath, he moves south to look down the last corridor.

At about 25 feet this passage also turns to the southwest but unlike the other passages has what looks like a passageway also coming in from the northeast.
"Hrrmm. Didn't we come from that way?" the orc asks, pointing down the southwest passage. "Maybe we should go the other way..." He will look down the northeast passage, ready to go that way unless Turvey doesn't.
As the party stands around trying to decide which path to take, Turvey takes it upon himself to at least look down the corridors to the west. The map below is what he sees ...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I still think we need to go east. Follow me or not. I'm outta here!" Ront says when nobody else makes a move to leave. He proceeds to the east, looking for traps or areas of slime that might reach out and attack him. (Perception: 7)
Six invites the self-aware gelatinous cube to follow along again, then moves to follow Ront. "Although I enjoy our conversation, I agree with the impatient orc. We need to continue moving or risk being caught by our previous captors."

Ront leads those members of the party that choose to follow (please indicate who - no statement = not included) up the passageway to the east. Unlike all the passageways so far and the ones that Turvey has peered down - which have all been worked stone - this one is rough hewn and largely natural looking. After about 15 feet the passage turns south - a further 10 feet along and the selected party ,members find themselves standing at the edge of a lake (roughly 20 x 20 feet) which appears to be getting larger as they watch. The source of the water is a series of a cracks in the 10-foot-high ceiling.
Ront and Six quickly scan the cavern - is there another passage? If there is, Six will start walking towards it. As a construct who doesn't breathe, he will walk along the bottom. Does the water cover him? About how deep is the pool?
If nothing else happens, Ront will follow Six, walking as much as he can and doggie paddling the rest of the way!
Topsy and Turvy continue on with the group. Topsy points at the water falling from the ceiling. "Do you think the cave-in caused that?"
Eldrik who had accompanied Topsy looks at the roof and says "reckon you might be right" to Topsy. As far as you can tell there appears to be no way around the lake. (see map below)
Six still wades in and checks out the bottom. He has darkvision and can detect magic at will =)
It takes Six about 10 minutes to thoroughly check out the lake - possibly a misnomer - as it is really a depression no deeper than 5 feet at maximum which has filled up from the cracks in the ceiling and is now overflowing into the passageways; proving Topsy's surmise that it is in fact a dead end!
"We could try back there," Turvy offers, giving Ront a quick glance which indicates no particular emotion.
"Back there?" Topsy says, pointing in the direction of the four parallel passages. "Which one?"
Turvy walks back toward the passages, but stops short of them, turning to look at the others (who I suspect are following). "They all turn left after a short distance. I can't see any further."
Topsy think-speaks to G, "Do you know where these passages go?"

Again the party hears the voice of Glabbagool in their heads "one called Topsy they all link to the old fountain. But you must be careful for it is guarded!"

Now curious, Turvy (oblivious to Ront) moves to the next and peers in.
At about 20 feet in this passageway also turns to the southwest.

Love God. Love Others. Any Questions?
"I'm not going anywhere," Turvy snaps. He walks back to stand beside Topsy once again, crossing his arms over his chest.
"What are you talking about?" Topsy asks, looking at her brother and then at Ront.
As the party stands around trying to decide which path to take, Turvey takes it upon himself to at least look down the corridors to the west. The map below is what he sees ...

Turvy mumbles something darkly, and Topsy nods. "Yep. Looks like a dead end." She looks around at the others. "Where to from here?"

"Back to the maze of passages. There is no way out of this cavern." Six says after thoroughly checking out the oversized puddle.
