"You do anything else, and you're done."

Si'Juul gives him a look anyone could read before setting him down.

"If you are going to be rude about it at least help me get Olive back into her crypt. And if you really want to help see if you can figure out this spell so that I can fix this." He begins to pack up his books. As he does the zombie crawls back into its coffin and closes the lid with a deep thud.

"Patience isn't my strongest attribute. And I couldn't care less about the magics you're playing with here, beyond stopping you from making more undead things out of anything. That's my only objective. What my friends do here to help you, if anything, is their choice. I won't have any part of it, not will I allow you to keep doing what you think is bringing people or animals to life."

Oleg looks at you as he finishes picking up the last of the books and moves to Olive's body. "You don't know much about the holy magics do you? The gods have the ability to restore life, for life came from them originally. I have seen it before. I have done it before. That is why I don't understand why it won't work." 

He looks to Twitch. "Can you help look around? I'm sure there are important things I'm missing but I just can't think straight." 

"Maybe Olive not undead because Olive not WANT to be undead," says Poinki.

”May I look over your note?” Elhanna ask curiously. Although she doesn’t like it, Oleg is right about necromancy being a part of the holy school. Death is as much a part of being a healer as life is and this is an opportunity you don’t get very often. “My name is Elhanna Grey and I’m a life cleric of Mishakel.” She give the other a hesitant look before she continue “Although I’m not a fan of raising the dead from their eternal sleep, it would be a great opportunity for me to further my education. And if you are lucky, I might find out what you are doing wrong.”

"I think Poinki has a point. You never thought about what she wants, did you?"

OOC: I'm so sorry, my notifications bugged and the last post I saw was him being picked up, I deleted the above, since it made no sense in context.

Twitch looks at the man before her. He was clearly determined, but he didn't sound mad, just desperate and exhausted.

"You spoke of a blessing that's become a curse. What did you mean by that?" SHe offers to do as he says, and has a look around the room. 

Perception: 21 or 14 if I get any help

Elhanna looks over the notes. She sees that he's been working with a spell that actually does restore life, though only after a short period of time. She also notices what Oleg is missing, the spell doesn't work if the target has died of old age. revivify

As Twitch searches the room she finds a few, quite valuable things that have been left behind. Lying in the dirt behind the coffin that Olive was resting on are two diamonds that she thinks would be worth hundreds in gold. When she looks she also sees that Olive has a similar one nestled in her hands.

Si'Juul looks to Elhanna.

"So what have you found? Anything useful, or just more evidence of a desperate man's foolish deeds? I could never wrap my head around all this religious stuff, but you seem to have dedicated your life to it."

Twitch gathers up the diamonds, bringing them to Elhanna and Poinki: "I don't know if this is something you're able to do, but I heard that with a great sacrifice, someone might be brought back from the dead. These diamonds might do the trick, if Oleg doesn't need them for something else."

She still hoped he'd answer her question, but didn't want to press the issue, if he didn't feel like talking about it.

"Not me. Not yet," says Poinki.  "Maybe Elhanna, maybe later, when Poinki stronger."

Oleg waves you off. "I have no need for anything anymore. Without her it's just waiting for the gods to end it." He sees Twitch's expectant look. "Ah, yes, right, you had a question. With some of the divine when a person becomes devoted enough to receive enough power the gods grant them extended life. That is what was done for me. My life is sustained by Farlân now and it is only when he decides that i might be able to pass on. As I said, at one time a blessing. Now, a curse." 

Twitch's expression is marked by sadness: "Oleg, you might not know this, but there are other friends of yours. We were sent by them to check on you, so I'm sure you matter to others. Maybe, by spending time with them, you might find joy in your own life again?"

"Hmph...if this Garland is keeping you alive when you clearly want to be reunited with your family, that's just cruel. Sounds like you are merely a toy to me. Just another reason I would despise being indebted to a deity."

Si'Juul stares off into the distance for a moment.

"Well, looks like our work here is done, and I really want to get out of here now."

Regardless if anyone follows him or not, he makes his way back up to the surface. Taking a nice breath of fresh air and stretching out his wings.

"Sent? By who? I haven't heard from anyone in a long time. They didn't take kindly to my retirement." He looks genuinely confused.

"Does the name Elixisys mean anything to you?" Twitch wouldn't put it past their employer to not be entirely forthcoming with the truth either.

"The wizard? Yes we've been friends for a long time. He lost his children like I had lost mine. It forms a bond." He looks around as he finishes putting Olive back in her coffin and closes the lid with a sigh. "So, why did he send you to find me?" 

Poinki has a sudden idea. "You come with us?" he suggests. "Find new life. New friends. New reason to live. God think you useful, learn why." Persuasion: 6 +5 (Emmissary of Peace lasts 10 minutes, may as well get as much use from it as possible. :D )
