If Beatrice can hear Reguh, she will turn back and start swimming towards Selachai, with the intent to grab her (or her body) and drag her back up to the surface as well.
[OOC: I’m going to wait until tomorrow morning local time (say 12 to 14 hours from this post) to move the story along. Everyone levels up to level 3, well done it was well earned.]
After carving into the abomination until it stopped moving, Oden turn around to check on Kenton's condition, then signal towards The Champion to help. Trying to staunch the flow of blood as best he can, he says quietly: "I'm glad you are with us, brave one. We'll get you patched up."
He'll help Kenton back to the ship once he's stable, thanking the water beings in Aquan as he starts swimming away.
Aliez will swim down and grab Selchai's staff/scepter and then begins swimming up towards the surface. When she hears people suggesting questioning her she calls out, "I doubt she speaks our language or will want to talk, she is dangerous. I would suggest either killing her or leaving her to die. But I will l leave that decision to you as I have lost a lot of blood. I grabbed the scepter that our dear pirate told us about, it is supposed to be quite powerful. Maybe one of us can use it."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Oden can make a medicine check to stabilise Kenton (DC10) while waiting for someone else to (hopefully) heal him. [OOC: Just saw baby news, congratulations again. I’ll roll medicine check and Oden will be on autopilot (can post when wants, but 0% expectation).] Medicine: 14
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Adding the medicine check in first caused the message in red, but I don’t want to risk re-rolling it. Oden’s medicine check is a pass, so Kenton is stable. Dillyu helps Oden get Kenton back to the ship where Dajarkal cures him 8 hp. She looks at you all and asks what happened.
As Aliez grips the sceptre, she feels a hunger grip her and feels a will start to impose itself on her. She looks at Dillyu and Oden starting to swim away and a voice in her head says "look at those pathetic, weak creatures, they are only good for eating." Before Aliez can stop herself she finds that she is saying offensive and derogatory things about sea elves under her breath and she is feeling a mix of revulsion, blood-lust and hunger towards Oden and Dillyu. [Let me know if she drops the sceptre or continues to hold it.]
As Salachai dies (her third failed saving throw), her watery robe detaches itself from her and starts to swim away.
Gyaaaa!!, cries Kenton as the healing jolts him awake. I... where... did we... goodness, that was... bracing. He checks that his spear and sword are still with him, then and then sinks back onto his back, looking up at the sky. Alas, I am not the person to ask about what happened. I got a few good blows in, but not enough to turn the battle in our favour. Indeed, a number of things happened that seemed to defy explanation, though I make no complaint about the outcome. There was a great deal of blood, and much of it mine, so I will just take a brief rest if that’s okay.
Aliez drops the scepter and calls out, "This staff is very strong and very magical and has some very strong opinions on sea elves. Apologies to anyone who heard what I said when I grabbed it. We should find a way to return it to the ship." She will then try to swim down for the robe.
Aliez, you are able to drop the sceptre without issue and it floats down to the sea bed again. Aliez tries to swim after the robe, but swims much faster than her and she is not able to grab it. [As foreshadowed in the first fight and more recently, these watery robes must be given and cannot be taken (even from a dead body).]
The Champion stabs at A1.
Attack: 10 Damage: 5 7
Paladin - warforged - orange
Beatrice's obsession with stabbing sahuagins in the eye pays off again and she kills S1.
Oden moves just into range with his reach weapon, and cuts down A1 as the Water Elemental takes down S3.
Beatrice, Oden and Oden's Water Elemental:
The battle is over, let me know what people want to do.
The Champion is swimming for the surface.
Paladin - warforged - orange
Beatrice is also swimming back to the boat.
Reguh yells hoping someone might hear him “Should we question the leader? I don’t think it’s dead yet, though it may soon be“
If Beatrice can hear Reguh, she will turn back and start swimming towards Selachai, with the intent to grab her (or her body) and drag her back up to the surface as well.

Kenton's unconscious and making death saving throws I believe:
8
Not a great start. :)

Oden fights the urge to end her then and there, and just nods.

Salachai’s death saving throw: 8
Aliez, please make a WIS saving throw.
Oh no why me
Wis save 4

“Grab that robe!” Reguh yells out

Seeing that she is now dead and her robes have swum away, Beatrice will drop Salachai's body and resume swimming to the surface.
The Champion sees the effects of the scepter and goes after it (or sending a raven for it if possible?)
I think I’ve got a bunch of ravens left. Say three of them hit Kenton to heal 3
Paladin - warforged - orange
The Ravens can’t pick it up (for the moment). I’ll get The Champion to make a Wisdom save.
