"Priest." Lia says, glancing to the priest. "Do you know who else there might be inside these walls?" She nods to the fortress ahead. "I would be quite unhappy if you lie to me, so please consider your words carefully before you respond." Lia doesn't aim her crossbow at him, but she does glance to the bodies nearby, drawing the priest's eyes there for a moment. When he glances back to her she raises a white eyebrow in patient question.
The fight over and people already talking to the prisoners, Osso calms his breathing, letting the rage go. He closes his eyes and focuses on their mounts. As he walks towards them he whispers to them all "Come. See friends inside and be safe". Hopefully they will understand him and start heading to the stables.
He crosses to the slain Witchblade and gives it a firm kick. "Ssstoopid sssnake. Who better now?" He chuckles to himself as he poorly imitates a snake and heads towards the main group.
The spy continues to side step toward the gate, and then bolts out when most of the party is not looking.
"Although I've never been deemed worthy to enter the fortress, I've seen some comings and goings through the gates. " The Priest says briefly making eye contact with Lia, and then turning toward the dead. " There are Cyclops that bring supplies from outside. It's all bound up in sacks and packages, so I know not what it is. Occasionally there is an unwary traveler, not as astute as you lot. They go in, and don't come out. Others have suffered my fate, and have been made to fight or be killed."
The camels understand Osso, and seem to appreciate his words as the mull their cud. They take the lead and move to the stables where Osso opens the gate for them to enter. The ground level stable was used for the mounts of visitors, and to hold patrol beasts while their riders made their reports or grabbed a quick bite or drink. It has a roof in case of storms. It is empty.

Vor Perception 9
Seems Vor missed the spy bolting.
"So, ye never seen the despicable things that run the place, eh?" He asks the Priest. "What are ye a priest fer, anyway, decoration?" He quirks an eyebrow at the oddness of a priest who doesn't know what goes on in their own temple. "Ye sure ye work 'ere?"
“I’m sure whatever is in that fortress we can handle,” Krusk says. However, he thinks back to their mission and how they have a limited time frame to get to wherever they’re going. “We may not be able to search the fortress, since we have to get going. We can always come back if we need to.” Looking at the Priest, he asks, “Now that the Asaath are killed, is there anything stopping you from leaving? If not then where do you plan to go?”
The priest, still on his knees with his hands in the air, closes his eyes as the dagger comes near him. "Forgive them Father, for they know what they do." he utters and then begins reciting a prayer. As Vor wipes the thin blue Asaatthi blood on his collar the priest winces.
Spy Stealth 7
Scout Stealth 24
The Scout slips away out the gate, but the Spy is seen trying to leave the area. Upon hearing Vor's request the Priest reply's "I will go with you, but please spare my friends. If you can protect me, I will do what I can do help you rid us of these sinful Asatthi. Honestly, I've never been inside, they kept us in the stables." The Priest slowly gets off his knees and walks to the main door. He pauses, crosses his heart, and the opens the grand doors to the fortress. Inside you see a well about 70 feet to the north, infront of you, a ramp to a lower level to the north east, a stair case going up on the east wall. To the west is stables with camels. "Well so be it," the Priest says. "The camels had better accommodations than the lot of us slaves."
Vor spins fluidly and hurls a dagger at the Spy.
Attack: 21 Damage: 7
And another (Surprise Attack) Attack: 10 Damage: 8
"Ach, nae ye gittin' away ye varmint!" And he sprints after him, drawing another dagger as he does.
At Vor's snarky question the priest fumbles and replies "Ah, you got me there. I'm not much of a priest without a parish."
To Krusk he repies, "I don't know what's here for sure, but this fortress once housed relics of the Titans. A large hunk of flesh that belonged to Mesos is here, or was at some point. If you would let me go, I would head back to my home town of Lokil. It's on a mountain top about 200 miles to the north west of here."
(It wasn't clear, but yes, this fortress is the one describe to you by the overworked and inattentive scribe in the city of Shelzar)
The spy reals around when the first dagger hits, and jumps to avoid the second. "Okay, I'll stay." The spy says and drops to his knees.

Vor will retrieve both daggers, strip the spy of anything of interest (weapons, treasure, information - papers, keys, etc.). "Explain what yer up to or ye might lose a bit 'r two o' yer face! Ye tell me truely 'n ye'll live, tell me falsely 'n I'll feed ye t' our worm."
The Spy [11HP] cringe at the verbal assault from Vor, even if he does trip over his words a little. "Honestly, there is nothing I have for you. I've been a slave here for God knows how long." He turns over a hand crossbow and a few bolts and then turns his pockets inside out revealing they hold nothing.
Inside ahead you see a well about 70 feet to the north. There is a ramp to a lower level to the north east, and a stair case going up on the east wall. To the west is stables with camels.
The smell of dust and mold prevail. The stables don't seem to have been in use in some time.

"Good question." lia says, glancing back to the priest. "Are we the first to come here in a while or did someone get here not too many days past and take the titan's flesh?"
(I think I may have mislead you a little. The camels in the stable are your own.)
"The Titans flesh..." The priest slows down to think about this. "I have not see it come or go, but much of my time was spent locked up in the stables outside. I think you will need to look for it to know for sure."

Listening to the conversation, Hallanann walks over to the staircase, closes his eyes for a second and just listens for any noise or signs of activity coming from up there:
"Looks like we go up or we go down..." Lia says with a glance to both options. She smooths down her sweat-stained clothes, frowning as she notices the state of her fine garments. With a sigh she puts thoughts of cleaning them out of her mind and looks to the others. "I'd say treasures are stored in vaults underground a lot of the time, but could be in high towers as well. So I guess both options are valid. Anyone have a preference?"
