Mylene sighs, reaching into the Little Bag of Sand for just a pinch, moves her full move West (which might be 3 squares based on difficult terrain), and casts Sleep, targeting only Tessa and Montru. The lowest HP characters are effected first, total HP put to sleep is:
25
After putting the halfling to sleep, Mylene says, “Manacles for the treacherous halfling, Erased and Redbrands. Perhaps deciding what to do with her will be our first decision as a council. Bugbears, walk away. Whatever she promised you, you’re not getting it, and whatever whim made you foolish enough to side with her over myself and the Redbrands isn’t worth dying over.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mylene moves towards Tessa and casts sleep. Tessa falls asleep, but not Montru.
Naivara Picks up her bracers and gets a memory of 1
You remember Honor completely and fully. You know her to be an honorable person and a warrior. The two of you would have been allies and maybe even friends, you can work out how closely associated you might have been if you wish to expand on it.
Sylcan Naïlo Moves to join Vilana.
Kierro (action?)
Redbrands Eye the bugbears and the group, but move to stand with Brun.
Vlune With a growl over his massive shoulder, Vlune strides past Vlar and Montru, picks up Tessa as a free action, then dashes south, crossing the road and heading into the forest. He waves Montru and Vlar to follow.
Vilana (Assuming still using just movement to walk East, with Sylcan dashing to catch up)
higgul Follows Honor.
Walter Glances to Mylene for orders.
Tessa sleeping.
Montru Will move South if given a chance.
Latrius (action?)
Brun "I would suggest letting them go." Brun would say. "The bugbears cannot be ordered around like you were doing, they have to be allowed to do as they wish, otherwise this sort of thing happens." He shrugs at Mylene with apology. "I should have told you having them on the team was a delicate thing, that they do not do well with orders... Only fear of me was keeping them in line up till now, but that is only a tenuous thing as far as their kind go."
Vlar Vlar would head south as well if allowed to do so. He would growl at the group as he does so, clearly willing to battle it out if you want to try and stop them.

Mylene - Brun
"That's fine, allow the Bugbears to leave unhindered, I did provide them the choice to do so," Mylene says, agreeing with him. "Bring the wild halfling to me. We'll secure the sleeping menace with manacles on her arms and legs. I have two pairs here."
To the Erased, Mylene notes many of them making plans to depart, and gives them a look of total incredulity, placing a palm on her forehead. "Where do all of you think you're going? We were a breath from finalizing the formation of an alliance with a controlling counsel of three, Kierro, you've agreed to be a part of that, we were able to select our third, when the chaos with the orcs erupted. Now that's been dealt with. Who is to be the third counsel person? We still need to decide on this, and then make a decision on our next course of action - as a group."
"I did, however, that was contingent on people agreeing to the idea of the council in the first place. Several have voiced their opposition to the idea, so the council has lost all its power before it's even been formed. Giving orders to them doesn't do anything at that point. This leads us to the impasse solution - anyone who wants to stick together can, and we'll try to share information where it's useful to do so, but we don't take orders from one another. It's the best option available to us and avoids any coming to blows."
"A lack of a controlling counsel somehow prevents us from coming to blows? Recent evidence suggests otherwise," Mylene says. "It's 'useful' to share allinformation, with full candor, as I've been attempting to do this entire time, while met with pointless, counter-productive, close-mouthed recalcitrance from many of the Erased. It's useful to have leaders giving orders, and to have orders followed, rather than a number of individuals and loose alliances all acting on their own whims. This is your opportunity to give structure and order to an insane situation - nine people who have all had their memories taken from them. Be a leader. Lead."
"Any leader, whether a king or queen, or religious leader, does not simply shrug and call of the entire concept of structure and organization the first time their vassals and acolytes show impudence. Exert leadership, Kierro, or you're allowing this entire affair to succumb to chaos. That may be the wish of some 'free spirits' among us, who would sooner see madness and entropy reign rather than following simple orders, like Tessa or Honor, but a strong leader can compel even wild hearts to follow the better path. Be a leader."
(I think we're heading in the same direction - Neverwinter is back to the west, and would involve passing through Phandalin anyway. I believe we're in Conyberry right now.)
Kierro sighs and shakes his head.
"Perhaps. A solid agreement between the erased would be very favorable and allow us to regain our memories faster. And I want to lead, to help the rest of them. I intend to do it. But it takes time and a softer grasp. And a lot of trust. All things that you don't exactly have with the rest in spades, Mylene. Seizing control and making demands makes you seem like all you want is to dominate, to be above the rest of us. Perhaps that isn't your intention. But that's what you've made apparent, and trust has been shattered as a result."
"All I'm saying is, your heavy-handed approach doesn't go over well with the rest. If you want to keep trying that, go ahead. But that's not the approach I'm taking."
He turns and follows Latrius, as he seems to be heading back toward Phandalin.
"Thanks for sticking up for me for the council idea. I'm sure we'll be able to work something out with the larger group to everyone's agreement. Planning on heading back to town?"
(I'd read I think Sylcan's post as the two of them going off and so Honor asked if she could come, because a. she needed to make sure Higgul was fine with coming with her, and b. that the rest were fine with Higgul coming).
"One of the options of the vote was to vote on whether a council should be formed at all, and I think a fair number have agreed that a council is unworkable." Honor crosses her arms. "Especially if you are trying to command other council members on how to act. I don't have any faith in the functionality of such a council. If you wish, possibly we could agree on a date and location to meet in the future -- such as a month from today, in Neverwinter or Phandalin, and we could all exchange information, that might be a possibility, but today I'm taking no orders from a bandit queen."
Naivara pauses and looks to Mylene and Leto and the Redbrands, "I..." she starts, but stops. After a moment she starts again, "I'll try to talk to everyone. Maybe once they're all calmed down a bit they'll be more willing to listen to your idea..." she points the direction the bugbears carrying Tessa went, "the bugbears took her that way.... I'm... going to follow Kierro for now... um... I'll try and find a way to get you an answer about what they actually decide... sorry..." she stands there a moment before chasing after Kierro and Latrius.
"It's control, or chaos. I understand that some, like Honor and Latrius, make it evident they are creatures of chaos, the idea of anyone or anything dictating your actions in the least clearly is appalling to you and your innate naive notion of 'absolute freedom and choice in all things.' Discipline and order are anathema to you, I understand that. Consider your own best interests, despite this. Uniting under my control is the rational thing to do, at least until we've had our memories restored, and as rational, thinking individuals, it's the only intelligent choice," Mylene reiterates. "Exert the ability to reason that I'm sure you have under that bluster and impetuousness and you'd realize that even someone like you can temper your innate wildness long enough to see this through, and have all of our memories restored. If your love of chaos outweighs even your own rational self interest, then be on your way. I gave you all an option to work together, and you, Kierro, to have a commanding voice in this endeavor. If the counsel is not to be, then I simply offer - any who are willing to follow me, and heed my orders, I give you my word I will protect you and aid you with my resources, we will have full disclosure and sharing of all information, and we will work together to get our memories and items restored to us, and to take revenge on whoever took both from us. The offer stands to follow me, but it seems the notion of a counsel is indeed dead and buried if you've chosen to bury it, Kierro."
Naivara pauses and looks to Mylene and Leto and the Redbrands, "I..." she starts, but stops. After a moment she starts again, "I'll try to talk to everyone. OOC: The bugbears left, they did not take Tessa. DM, is that correct? There was no mention of them carrying her off, only of them leaving. That changes things greatly if they are taking her.
OOC: Correction, I missed that. Vlune is carrying Tessa off? We are still in combat then.
(Where are Vilana and her group going? Back to Phandalin, or somewhere else?)
