"As I was explaining to Honor here..." (I am just going to assume you told the shop owner your name by now, as she wouldn't have let things go this far without having it...) The shop owner says. "I have a supply run that comes from Neverwinter, down the High Road, then down Triboar Trail, here to Phandalin. The shipments have not been making it through though, so I need someone to go out and see why not. There are other shops in town having the same issue. I have given Honor my list of missing supplies already." The shop owner moves and gets the equipment for both Latrius and Naivara. For Latrious she pulls out studded leather, a longsword, a dagger, and a shield.
Tessa takes the woman's hand as she says, "Bless you for your kindness! You have been most gracious! And where might I be?" Tessa smiles at her and reaches to dine on what she brought forth.
"My dear, you are in Phandalin." The woman says, then moves to check in with her other patrons, before disappearing into the back room again.

"I feel you are being honest with me." The wizard says with a nod to you. "How about we test your resolve and willingness to become a part of my crew? I could use a warrior like yourself after all..." He looks you over in the cloak you have on. "How about you get some gear from our supplies while I decide what task would be a good option to put you to?" He nods to his guards. "These two can put you to some sort of work in the meantime, and make sure you don't get yourself into trouble. Are you amenable to that?"
Taking a second to think, Leto replies "I appreciate the... opportunity. Though I don't feel I'm much with a sword." Looking around the room, and at the two guards "And I still would like to know where I am. As the world faded I found myself here, like this." Gesturing to his nearly naked body. He continues "Perhaps there is a reason I am here. What is it I should call you? I am Leto Atreus. What would you have me do?"
"This mage clearly has power." Leto thinks to himself "and at the moment, I have none. I must do what I must do" He then stands up to follow the guards out, after waiting for at least an introduction.
"I am called Glasstaff." The wizard says, waving the staff in his hand. The two guards lead you out, and outfit you with studded leather, a light crossbow, a dagger, and a quarterstaff. They get you a tunic, belt, britches, and boots .
"We need to feed the beast." The one with the ring says, nodding to his companion with a grin. "Good way to break in the new guy..." They lead you to a chamber a few doors down and haul out the dead body of a human female. It looks as if she was tortured before her death. "Bring that with..." The one with your ring tells you, nodding to the corpse. the two then lead you back past the wizard's chamber and to a large open chamber. There is a rift running the length of that chamber, with two rope bridges spanning it to the north and south. The guards lead you straight up to the rift and nod at the expanse. "Toss the body int here, then the beast will come to feed..."
She reels from the surge of memory, intrigued by the recollection of the tiefling man, and surprised at the genuine feelings she finds herself associating with the memory.
She collects herself, and completes dressing, donning the bracers, tunic and armor a bit shakily. She gestures to the longbow, offering to trade for the rapier, "I think I'll be best suited providing support from a distance, I'll leave the sword fighting to my dashing champion," and with that complete she will take the longbow and quiver and return the blade to Walter. "You've made a wise choice. That sounds like a fine plan, for the short term. I think this may yet prove to be a fruitful partnership."
OOC: Should I update my inventory myself, or should we leave that to you? It might now be Studded Leather, Clothes, Longbow, Quiver, Arrows, and Bracers of Archery, but I wanted to confirm before I start adding equipment to the sheet.
She looks for a nearby stream or reflective surface, having had her own self image in her mind, but wanting to see what she looks like now, wearing this peasant's clothes, and to clean up her appearance a bit if needed.
(Realized I should probably post a description of Latrius)
Latrius is a tall (for an elf, at least) wood elf, with long light brown hair. Oddly enough, his eyes are mismatched colors. One eye is a bright green, while the other is a deep, blood red. His visible skin shows quite a few scars, a sign that he might be older than his youthful appearance would suggest. He starts briskly pulling on his armor, with the ease of someone who's performed this task many times before.

Chuckling a bit while he donned the black robe, the young man replied, "Well said, woman." As those words are spoken, a Eladrin Elf step out of the darkness. He stands at 6'0, and appears to be about 22, no, younger than that, maybe about 19 or 20. Now that he has stepped out of the darkness, you see that he has long hair (you can reference the portrait of him in the campaign if you'd like), almost wavy, which is currently stuck up a bit. His hair, as white as snow, draws your attention, but you also take notice of his skin, which appears to be a pale bluish-grey, and his eyes, a mix between grey and white, approaching something similar to a storm cloud's grey. You take notice that, while he is relaxed, his eyes are still alert and have a sort of glint to them. Lastly, you notice a rusty dagger in his left hand, and a pair of leather boots on his feet. "My name is Sylcan. Unfortunately, I don't remember much of how I got here, or where I am, for that matter. Would you be able to help me?"
"I am called Glasstaff." The wizard says, waving the staff in his hand. The two guards lead you out, and outfit you with studded leather, a light crossbow, a dagger, and a quarterstaff. They get you a tunic, belt, britches, and boots .

((What does where Leto's at look like? Is this a large castle complex? All inside in the tower? How many guards did Leto see? Can I assume he got some bolts for the crossbow as well?))
Leto, sensing he has little choice in the matter, and really, the girl is dead anyway, so what else use is there for her body, drags the body over ((he's not very strong)), and rolls it down into the expanse
Kierro replies to the woman: "I'm... looking for guidance. My name is Kierro; something peculiar happened to me that seems to have caused me to lose what memory I have. What I can recall is that I was a servant... a cleric of a deity that I served. I can't remember their name or the symbol that depicts them." he says, slightly ashamed. He looks around at the symbols on the altar and the woman's robes, then asks: "What is the deity this shrine is dedicated to?"
(Honor introduced herself to the shopkeep in one of the posts, yes.) Honor holds out the list if either of the two newcomers want to take a look. "The crates should be marked with the lion crest,"she gestures to the one Linene pointed out to her. "But if the crates have been broken open, it may be harder to identify them as belonging to her."

(You get the sense you are underground. And, yes, you have bolts for the crossbow. For guards you saw a couple bugbears, a cowering goblin, and a couple other of the thugs in red cloaks. None of those others are around now though.) The two guards move forward as the body is rolled into the rift, both of them looking down into the rift, their backs to you. the pull of the ring on the one's hand is powerful, nearly compelling you to step forward.

"This is a shrine to Tymora, Lady of Luck." The elven female says as she smiles at you. " The name does not mean anything to you though.

Tessa muses on the name, Phandalin. She has no knowledge of this place. She sets the thoughts aside to enjoy her repast and await the inn owner. Perhaps he has an offer of employment while she learns more about this world.
"Good morning there." A young human man said a few minutes later, coming up to the table Tessa is seated at. He has the look of an innkeep, though clearly has not been at it for too many years. "I am Toblen Stonehill. I hear you ran into some troubles." He takes a seat at the table. Looking you over for a bit, he nods. "I can offer you work in the kitchen, or in helping with turning over the rooms as our guests leave, but I am not sure if that is the sort of work you are looking for."
As Sylcan get dressed, then climbs out of the hole with Vilana, you are now both standing outside of some ruins in a town that is clearly just starting to be rebuilt atop some very old ruins. On the far side of the ruins you are standing by is what appears to be an orchard, the road nearest you seems to run south before meeting up with the main street of the town, which runs east to west.
You guys can continue RP, but let me know where you wish to go next.

((time for action~~ sink or swim eh))
Seeing the two guards leaning over into the rift, Leto feels a pull towards the ring the one on the left has. He needs it. The guard on the right is no use to him. Seeing his chance he attempts to kick the guard on the right over the edge ((athletics? 13)), and backing up pulls his new crossbow on the other guard, his eyes flaring, and feeling the tattoo on his right arm almost burning, a somehow familiar, and not uncomfortable sensation.

Latrius:
Latrius nods to the other two. Seeing the longsword, he frowns.
"Not to press your generosity, but I don't suppose you have something a bit less . . .unwieldy?"
Either way, he'll take the armor, shield and dagger.

Would you want a rapier or a short sword then?" The shop owner asks, not at all put out.
