Sinder Fesyss nods to the Stone dragon. "This might not be the best place to have that drinking contest." She informs you. "Elemental dragons, NEVER, change habits, when they do it tends to be very very bad."
Kyrian fraty lets out a sound that couldn't be anything other than a purr of delight. Her eyes are on the Stone dragon that has just sat down close to Leto. "This should be fun..." She tells anyone close by her.
Kierro "I suggest we move those you wish to protect out of the general vacinity." Chysen informs Kierro. "If Yrsaintinth is changing habits, that normally means an eruption is coming in short order..."
Honor Emmy seems more interested in you and has not noticed the Stone dragon yet.
Esmerelda Ronaldo moves to your side, his eyes locked on the Stone dragon sitting rather close to you. "I suggest we vacate." He says through his mental link with you. "We don't want to hang around if he is changing his habits..."
"What happens when he changes habits?" Esmerelda asks Ronaldo through the link. "Besides look at how many other dragons there are here, if he tries anything funny, I doubt he'll get very far."
Regardless, she quickly purchases a room for both her and Ronaldo and calls both Leto and Sinder saying, "I think we plan to call it an early night tonight, boys. It was nice getting to know you, and I'm sure we will get to know each other much better on the journey." She flashes Sinder a smile and gives him a sly wink when she says that last part. The both of them then move up to their room.

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
“Normally, for sure.” Kierro replies quietly to Chysen. “But I feel it’s something different, and hopefully much more benign. The tiefling over there, Leto, has a similar relationship to Yirsaintinth that I do to you - he came here because Leto told him to. He should be able to calm them, or at least convince them to move somewhere safer.”
He looks over to the table where Leto and the stone dragon are sitting, puts two fingers to his forehead, and contacts Leto telepathically via sending:
“Make sure Yirsaintinth stays under control, some of the others are worried. Perhaps have him return home for the night and meet us again tomorrow morning, just to be safe.”
"Well, don't feel obliged to," Honor says. "I'm sure wherever we go next is going to be interesting, especially if this lot all come along." She looks around, trying to get a bead on how groups are interacting. "I have to admit I'm new to the region. Do you have much experience outside of the local area?"
After Esmerelda explains why she plans to join the ship Leto asks “If our ship will provide your entertainment I assume you will be sponsoring all of our activities then? Ships and sailors are not free after all. Again, this is not a pleasure cruise we are on, and your desires for excitement do not exactly fit into our plans.”
other than for the meta gaming aspect of just saying yes to you joining the group, just give me some logical RP reason why we should let you join (i made it easy with asking for payment, but maybe you have another reason) ;) right now you’re just freeloading for no reason other than that you want to. Why would any ship let someone on just because they flashed a smile and said please? More so a ship of people like us, who are all part of a very specific group on a very specific mission.
"Perhaps I'm not be specific," Naivara mostly says to herself. "Do you yourself need any equipment?" she asks Palvin. "We kind of left at the last minute last time."
"I have a feeling that the entire group is not entirely unhappy with my coming on board," Esmerelda says giving an obvious look to the distracted fire genasi burning his name into the bar. "But if you wish for payment," she leans in very close to his ear and whispers, "then perhaps I can provide my services in exchange for your allowing me to journey with you." Backing up and gulping down the rest of her wine before taking Ronaldo upstairs, Esmerelda turns to Leto and says, "Although if you wish for payment in the form of gold," she sighs loudly, "then I'm sure we can oblige."

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
Leto replies to Kierro, through his own method of telepathy, “You know the power we have over these creatures. Worry not, he’ll make no trouble unless needed.”
“It seems we are now a tourist ship.”Leto thinks to himself, sighing, as Esmeralda leaves the bar. He then calls his dragon companion over and says, using a nickname he finds ironic for the dragon, but one that is much easier to remember, “Saint, sit and have a drink with me. It’s no fun to drink alone.”Taking a sip of his own wine he adds, “Have you met the crew? There are few to be wary of, most offer no true threat; though their purposes differ from ours, so we must be careful in our actions. For tonight let us simply sit and watch.”
He then turns to Sinder and says, “I remember hearing of you from the old world. Your actions are quite impressive, I must admit. Though they do lack finesse.” Seeing his named burned into the bar, and hearing him ask for a drinking contest, Leto adds quietly for him alone, “You seem a bit bored. Would you like to make a wager?” Looking around the bar he continues, “Choose your champion. The strongest man in the bar. How long do you think he’ll last against everyone here? If your champion lasts longer than a minute, this is yours.” Placing a small gem worth about 100g on the table. “If not, I’ll expect a similar payment of course. Interested?”
If Sindar agrees, Leto mentally whispers into the mind of the man Sindar points out “They’re coming to get you!” And then casts enemies abound ((int save 22)) on the person and sits back sipping his wine watching the brawl.
“Ah...”Leto says “You have a good eye. Saint is a very tough cookie as you say. But no. Tonight I hope to keep our wager to the cattle.”Clearly referring to the ‘normal’ people in the tavern. “Clearly they wont actually win, but what happens to them isn’t our concern. It’s how long they can last that’s the fun.”

Honor "I've been around some." Emmy says with a nod. "From here to Baldur's Gate, down to Candlekeep, over to Icewind Dale, and areas between here and there." She shrugs. "Are we taking a ship? I love ships... There was a ship I took once, named the Sea Delight... The captain was a young one, even for humans I think, though they are all so young. Do you know what direction we are headed? I like warm climates, Neverwinter is fine, with the volcano close by, but I wouldn't mind going a bit further South. That shield looks nice... Where did you get it? Hey, isn't that Yrsaintinth? Wow, is he changing habits, that is almost as interesting as you are..."
Sinder "Like he is an elemental dragon." is the response from your dragon. "Stones follow a ritualistic habit, never varying from their activities. When they do, all hell brakes loose..."
Naivara "I would like to visit my home and grab a few more things." Palvin says with a shrug. "I had time to prepare last time, but, if we are going South, less concern needs to be put in being ready for cold climates."
Leto Yrsaintinth nods to Leto and takes the seat next to him, drinking the ale sat in front of him. Give me a sleight of hand check if you try to cast your spell without letting others know you are doing so. Unless you have another way to bypass verbal and symantic components...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sinder points out a Bard that is sitting at one of the tables nearby. Honor would be able to recognize this person as one of the adventurers that was with Emmy earlier.
Sinder would pick this one, due to the fact that the person looks to have a twin sitting next to them, and he figures he can get two for one, since it is not likely the twin would let their sibling face the crowd on their own.
Leto casts his spell. (Need that sleight of hand check if you want to do it unnoticed by others in the place...) The bard shakes his head then stands up, looking around in concern and alarm. (failes the save.)
Everyone roll initiative. The tavern is not that big, let's say 30 X 30.
