Kierro gives a slight gasp. “I...” he searches what little memory he has, appearing dismayed. “I... I can’t. It seems we both lost our memories, but I recalled some other part of my life. It was pleasant, but if you say you had a memory of me... I must have one of you that I can’t grasp.” He gulps, as if he had just insulted someone dear to him. ”May I ask... what was the memory?”
"We were walking through the forest," Naivara says, "holding hands, it seemed like we didn't get to do it very often and we were just trying to enjoy time together and..."she stops, not wanting to say the last thing while they were out in the open even with the low voices they were talking in.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Honor
Honor turns the shield around again to study the face one more time. She sets it down, then picks it up again in case that triggers something.
She sighs. "If this was my shield, then any markings I'd put upon it have been erased. It feels as familiar to me as my own right hand." Maybe moreso, seeing as a touch of her hand to her flesh hadn't produced such staggering results. Honor looks up at Higgul. "My name's Honor, by the way." She looks at the shield she'd just acquired from Linene. "I don't suppose you'd consider a trade?"Persuasion: 10.
”...I’ve forgotten the name of the deity I served who guided me and led me to help people...” Kierro says, gazing wistfully toward the sky before turning to Naivara, a tear in his eye. “...And I’ve forgotten a person who was dear to me, who I enjoyed being with.”
He closes his eyes, sighs, and regains his smile. “Not my best day, but I don’t plan to despair all day over it. I’ll come help you with your task to find those missing supplies for the town. And I’ll get that memory back one day. I swear that to you, Naivara.”

"I could help with that," she offers, "I'm fairly perceptive. Unless you think keeping a majority of us on the road would give you better chances of noticing something."
Kierro bows to Latrius as they meet. “Well met. I’m Kierro.”
As Naivara and Latrius discuss scouting ahead, he pipes up: “I should be able to help with that as well - I’m alright at being perceptive, but I should be able to assist better with a spell that I know. Like this.” he says, casting guidance on Latrius.
"But I do not wish to travel alone," Vilana's smile become a bit wider, "would much prefer to have near by someone I know and can trust with confidentiality. Not sure announcing to everyone "hi, I lost my memory, do you know me" is a good idea. Glad you feel the same way. Then it is decided - we stick together and try to regain what was lost. Do you know what did you do before? The robe does not feel right for you - your movements are too collected and precise. Can be an elven feature but still you do not struck me as a mage. I am no mage either, yet I do know magic and remember using it to ... track people? Hunt them? Not sure why, though."
She looked around a bit impatiently: "The made said she will be here in a moment, where is she?"
Tessa moves to approach the table where the two wizards are seated in conversation. As she reaches the table, she flashes a welcoming smile. She says to the pair, "Fair morning! Tessa be my name. An adventurer by trade, though I might not look it. I was waylaid outside of town and all my possessions stolen. Might ye two mages be in need of a sell sword or know of them that might?" Tessa stares at the pair awaiting their response, a friendly smile upon her face.
Tessa walks up to the table Vilana and Sylcan are seated at. Please see below. I was going to fix the timing on this this morning, but, if Tessa is ok with it as is then I'll just leave it.

"I'm glad to hear that." Offering a smile, Sylcan continued, "I can't say what exactly it was I did before, but... I do know a couple of things. First off... I know that I'm used to a dagger - I believe that it's a weapon of choice to me. Second, I vaguely recall something... a sort of... ritual, I think." Looking down at his hands, he said "I can't remember the specifics of what I would do, but I know that my blood played a big part in it. However," Sylcan says, as he lifts his head back up, "I know that I've killed before. Many times, at that. I believe my skills lie in stealth and support, not magic. Although... a part of me says that magic played a part as well." Glancing around, Sylcan noticed a halfling woman approaching them.
Sylcan Naïlo: (To Vilana and Tessa, in the Inn)
Noticing that a woman was approaching the pair, Sylcan said to Vilana, "We'll continue sharing what we know later." The halfling woman introduced herself as an adventurer, and asked if the pair needed a... "sell sword?" A bit confused, Sylcan replied, "We're new here, so we don't know anyone. But, you asked if we needed a... sell sword?"
(One day I will learn to check thread before posting :) But it looks like it still fit)
Vilana slowly looked halfling up and down pausing on the dagger for a moment. "It does seem like the place is crawling with the thieves and bandits. Surprisingly so for for such a lovely town. Unfortunately, we are strangers here as well and would not be able to direct you to anyone else. And though the "sword" by once side is always welcome, the "sell" part might be a problem." She smiled back and switched to less posh style: "We don't have money to hire someone." "Still, if food and roof over your head will be enough for you - for the starters! - we might be able to help each other." Vilana turned to her companion, not mentioning his name just yet: "What do you say?"
Appearance
Portraits on the campaign page are accurate enough, but word description is following:
The man:
He stands at 6'0, and appears to be about 22, no, younger than that, maybe about 19 or 20. Now that he has stepped out of the darkness, you see that he has long hair (you can reference the portrait of him in the campaign if you'd like), almost wavy, which is currently stuck up a bit. His hair, as white as snow, draws your attention, but you also take notice of his skin, which appears to be a pale bluish-grey, and his eyes, a mix between grey and white, approaching something similar to a storm cloud's grey. You take notice that, while he is relaxed, his eyes are still alert and have a sort of glint to them.
Woman:
Similar general colours with the man - white hair (more like extremely blond), silver eyes, relatively dark skin (like a strong tan, but of more greyish shade). Obviously half-elven, tall enough for her kind - 5'4", appears about very early 20s. Human blood softened prominent elven features, and if not for a drow-like coloration, she could pass for a pretty and slender human.
Both dressed in mage robes, that for the woman appears to be a touch bigger than needed. No decorations ((OOC: the ring is invisible now)), and only a small wrap-pack for the baggage.
Taking a mental note of the term "sell sword", Sylcan thought for a moment, and replied with, "Like my companion here said, we are strangers here, and we don't have enough money to pay for a guard. That said, if you're alright with working for food and board for the time being, I'm sure we could arrive at some sort of agreement."
As she continues along towards the town with Walter, keeping watch for his companion Higgul, Mylene again tries to struggle against the fog of forgetfulness, trying to decipher what has happened to her mind and her memories. She mentally catalogs the things she does know - which is quite a bit - and makes mental effort to recall the things she does not. She makes a mental checklist - language, basic norms and customs, the concept of economics, the notion of weapons, birth, life and death, the concept of transportation devices like a carriage, oaths and honor, pride and superiority - realizing she is far from ignorant of the world.
The fact that her personal history escapes her is still troubling, as well as the loss of specifics about the world, its history and places. It occurs to her that she might find a priest who could possibly help restore her mind, but she even struggles with this notion, as she knows of no specific gods by name, nor does she know why she believes such miracles are possible. She assumes the small town might not have a powerful enough priest, but again, clashes with the question of why she suspects that, while knowing nothing of the town.
Though there is still a puzzle to unravel, she takes pride in having used her wits, charm and gifts to see herself through thus far. An inferior woman might have been left violated and killed, left in a ditch in a remote area. She has already acquired weapons and armor, a set of bracers she still believes to be hers, and certainly magical, and at least one loyal minion. Things are looking up, she reminds herself.
She grows tired of looking for the burly man Walter described as Higgul, and instead looks for signs of civilization to try to gauge how much further they will have to travel on foot to reach the town.
Tessa nods at their greeting. She flashes a smile at them and pulls up a chair at the table. Despite her diminutive build she moves the human sized furniture quite easily. She leaps into the chair and turns to the pair. She says, "I'm a swords woman for hire. Have blade will travel, so to speak. Honest work mind you. No slaying of babes. That be extra. I am a sell sword, sword for hire, mercenary any of them applies. I've fallen on hard times. I was waylaid outside this fleaspeck of a town. Woke up naked as babe, hence the ill fitting atire and minimal armament. I belive I can accompany you two for a time. The good innkeep was just telling me about a mercantile shop that might have need of work. I'm sure they would be interested in a couple of spell hurlers such as your selves. If you be interested?" Tessa looks at both mages as she speaks. She also keeps an eye on the door to her left as well. Her childlike face at odds with her petite womanly build. Her mannerisms while friendly, don't make their way to her eyes. Her eyes speak of something at odds with the friendly smile, perhaps the situation she described on the roadway have troubled her more then she let on.
"Do you remember me?" Naivara says quietly. "Because I woke up in the middle of a store without any memories, and then I had a memory of you."
