Latrius sighs, still invisible, and gestures for Piazet to unleash his destruction once more.

Emmy smiles, but then frowns as Piazet starts to transform. "Hey, this is my turn..." She calls out, even as the Axial breathes force into the room beyond. Emmy walks up to the axial and bashes his scales with a fist, grimacing as her hand bounces off without effect. "You listen here, next time is my turn..." She tells the larger dragon, who gives her a quizical look.

"I had no choice little sister." Piazet informs Emmy, as they transform into their human form once more. "I must do as my master commands."

Emmy's eyes turn to Latrius, who all of the dragons can see quite well, through their blindsense. "Next time it is my turn." She says to Latrius, stomping one foot on the stone ground.

In the room beyond all of the flame-men are now no longer a threat. (I did not give numbers before as I knew this was the likely result, so figured working up an entire encounter was not going to be useful.)

Morgan stands close to Leto, smiling at Emmy's small tantrum. He has become even more subserviant to Leto after Leto's latest acquisition, and stands ready at the dragonlord's side for whatever comes.

Higgul is looking more and more uncomfortable, glancing to Honor often, making sure she is nearby, and eyeing the other dragonlords with more and more concern as they each grow in power.

"Alright, place your bets the floor is trapped," Naivara says as she scans the room

"I'd say it's a safe bet." Kierro says, inspecting the room, then the door as well.

Nadariel just throws a few Despell Magic around the room for good measure.

Someone likely would cast detect magic, and find that there is no magic in this room.

There is also no traps to be found. Just a double door that leads South, towards the last of the items. The door is not even locked...

"How about we all stand to one side," Naivara suggests, "and when whatever's about to charge at us does we can dodge it hopefully."

Kierro nods. "Preferably not all to one side, in case whatever's in there happens to blast us all at once. But standing back seems like a good idea. I'll open the door from afar."

Once everyone's suitably back, Kierro will cast thaumaturgy to open the double doors.

As the doors fly open you see...

A large chamber with an efreeti sitting on a ebony throne in the center.  Around him stand 4 shield guardians.  On the floor around his throne lay a paile of treasure, including the item that calls to Niavara.

Initiative order is:

The order is not likely to matter overly much, ,as you all go first and the Efreeti and Shield Guardians go last. I doubt they will get a turn, but let's see... Everyone can post actions and I'll resolve the order they occur in.

Kierro will cast fireball, aiming to hit as many of the shield guardians as possible. Pretty sure the efreeti is immune to fire. 30 fire damage, DC 21 DEX save.

(If any of the shield guardians crit on their return blows, Kierro will use warding flare to give disadvantage. Otherwise, he'll use it on the highest-rolling attack roll hitting any of the party)

Chysen will misty-step to the side before using his action to transform into his dragon form. (All the dragons are in human form, I think, so I doubt we'll be able to get breath weapons off this turn; LMK if that's wrong)

Latrius judges the brawl for a second, then shrugs and throws himself into it.  The Efreeti seems to suddenly stumble and defend itself against an invisible attacker, one who promptly disappears into the melee once more.

(Attacking the Efreeti and then moving out of the path of any dragon breath and Hiding)
