Latrius shouts back to Honor.

"They’re trolls!  Doubt any are going to docilely submit to questioning.  Kill them and be done with it."

He repeats the process of running up to troll 5 and running away.

You quickly dispatch the last two trolls, Kierro's flames burning troll 4 so it does not regenerate,w hile Higgul shoves a burning torchinto troll5 to do the same thing.

Higgul
"Well, that did not go so well." Higguls says with a glance at the wounded members of the group, holding his own side. "Are you ok Honor?" He asks as he turns to make sure she is doing good.

Palvin nods to Higgul. "No, that was not good." He agrees. "Arauthator will surely know we are here now, if he did not know before now." he glances to the group. "Do you wish to rest here, or do we push on to confront the white?"

"I need to catch my breath at least..." Persus says, sitting down atop one dead troll.

"I'm... all right," Honor says to Higgul. The wound on her side has closed somewhat due to Kierro's healing. "If you could help me bandage this, though. And you?" She starts removing parts of her armor. "A short rest would be good, or the dragon will strike us down in one blow -- not that that's not a possibility anyway. I'm hoping that we'll be able to negotiate with it in some way."

"Hopefully," Naivara says, "if anything it'll give us a bit more time to plan."

Kyrian looks a little ragged "I agree. We need to rest before we confront the dragon." The black mark slithers from the body of the fallen troll, and he winces in pain as it once again becomes a tattoo on his arm. He cleans his blade and looks around to see if he is needed anywhere.

Kierro lands, his wings rustling as his feet hit the cold ice once more before they fade off. He seems relatively unhurt, due to being up in the air for most of the fight, but rushes hurriedly to those who had temporarily fallen during the battle, making sure they were alright (especially Persus).

Breathing a bit heavily due to his angel form fading, he says: "A rest would be very useful right now, agreed."

Kierro also tries to feel out once more for the direction their magic items might be in.

Naivara goes about collecting what arrows she can before settling down for a rest.

Latrius coughs faintly, and begins tending to the worst of his wounds.  He isn’t looking too hot.

You all settle down and have a rest right there with the dead trolls...

Palvin, Higgul, and Persus all bandage up wounds as well, settling down to rest along with the rest of the group.

Kierro notices that the pull to the items is still downward, but at an angle back the way you came from to reach this cavern. As you rest you look around the area and find that there are no passages leading further from this large cavern. The only way forward is back up the ramp you took down to this cavern. You do remember that the tunnel split a bit back, the one you decided not to take had a slope that went upward instead of down.

As you rest a shadow in the back of the room takes shape and out of it steps the gloomstalker, with Morgan and Leto on its back. Morgan quickly climbs off of the thing's back, clearly not too happy about having had to ride the thing. He takes in the state of the group and glances to Leto.

"Seems like you were right, we probably better help these guys out..." Morgan says with a smile up to Leto.

 Do the Ice Trolls have any bags/pockets/etc that we could look through, or do they just have basic weapons and armor?

Leto grins back to Morgan, pats the gloomstalker on his head as a small imp floats up and around them. Glancing around the room, he then looks to the group saying “Looks like you could use a hand. So... What did we miss?” 

"We fought 8 trolls," Naivara says, turning her attention to Vale.

The ice trolls fought with teeth and claw, so no weapons or armor. They do not have any treasure to speak of.

"Glad to have you back once more." Kierro says as Leto shows himself. "We'll have to go back up the other way, up the ramp. I do feel better about our chances now, with both another one of us and your gloomstalker companion to back us up."

Vilana drops her magical darkness spell, before silently cursing to herself. She hadn't been so much as grazed in the fight, but she had probably used too much of her power, and unless she spent the time to properly sleep, she was going to have to limit her magical powers more going forward. Seeing Leto and Morgan, Vilana slowly walks up to the gloomstalker, not needing the rest as badly as the others.

"Fancy meeting you here. Are you planning to help for the rest? Or were you planning to swoop in after we did the heavy lifting?" The tone had a little bite to it, but Vilana made sure to take some of the sting out of her words by adding a lopsided smile.

"So, how do you think we handle him?" Naivara asks.
