Dalavash takes out the blue gem, and approaches the panel, examining it carefully.

The blue gem allows Dalavash to control the panel's time displacement functions to go backwards in time. Go ahead and make another Arcana check for me, and pray.

Seldor will offer Dalavash help. And inspiration. "You got this buddy. Just an easy 10 minutes." Take 1d8 inspiration.

’Thanks Seldor...’ says Dalavash, acting with some divine guidance too in all likelihood.

You place the blue crystal. It lights up with a beep. Arcane numbers appear, awaiting a command. You touch the blue crystal, and the wires energize. You can feel a field form around you, like the softest breeze of radiation against your skin..and then it's over. After the tiniest feeling of vertigo, you are now ten minutes into the past. You look around. Thankfully, nothing has changed. As far as you can tell, the machine worked.

You realize how revolutionary..and dangerous..this discovery is. 

"Holy shit, it actually worked. We're 10 minutes in the past. What do we do now?"

Hamdel tries to leave the immediate vicinity of the field, arcane senses alive and pen flowing freely across a crowded page with notes.

Like a hound dog on a scent trail, Kitsune starts circling around the ruins, looking for further components to the time machine (Perception: 10).

Is there any writing, artwork, etc to be found on the machine that would indicate what the fully assembled machine looks like (and what missing pieces may be)?

As far as you can tell, there are no more obvious components. By looking at the panel, you are positive more gems are missing, but as to other hardware components, you're not entirely sure.

"We should go see Banrion. If the other gems are missing, then someone or something probably took them and it's possible that she might've seen whoever did it."

‘Shall we aim to go forward by 20 mins then, to avoid temporal issues, before speaking with Banrion?’ asks Dalavash.

"Sure, I guess." Seldor said, assuming that their 20 minute later selves would be wandering back from the tower and not standing there like dumbasses.

Dalavash replaces the blue gem with a red gem.

‘Anyone want to help with this?’

Seldor will help and give another inspiration die to Dalavash.

With another sickening feeling of nausea, you find yourself 20 minutes into the future. You notice that the foliage looks just a little different with a fallen leaf or two, but otherwise, you don't see or feel any different.
