As Scottie slams his quarterstaff into the hag's left temple, she goes flying into the smashed window. She stops, tongue hanging from her mouth, her yellow eyes staring at the children.

"We should get the children to safety now." Braithe grabs the broom from the quarters and loads the children onto it. He barely fits on with them. "Thank you for everything you've done. Can you just do me one more favour: Make it to the Isle alive."
"What about Aliira, she's in there with the hags? Their going to kill her?" cried Princess Caitlin.
"And what about the spider?" Prince Marius interjected, "we will need proof that the tieflings were trying to harm them. That note just sounds like they were sending a gift."
"Come now, children," Braithe hushed them. "Let's get going?"
The broom shoots up into the air and headed east into the foggy darkness. The children screamed Aliira's name.
OOC: We hit the next level with that exp I’m just curious how you handle level up. Do we roll for HP or take the standard? Do we immediately get these benefits or do we have to wait for a long rest first? How do you want to handle it?
[Standard. I would ordinarily handle it by tallying it at a long rest, but considering we are using the campaign manager, and it is PbP, I think we'll go with adding the points as we go.]
A hiss echoes from the long tunnel. The sea of hags is are knocked down as the spider breaks free onto the deck, spewing acid over them. They all scream as they are melted down into a pile of bones. The spider crawls out and stares at you with its empty eyes, but it speaks to Scottie.
"You helped Tanari once before," the spider bows, "now you must help Tanari again. Tanari cannot swim."
Aliira comes out shortly after with Pelious.
Pelious screams: "They're all dead: the Captain, the crew, everyone!"
More scratches come from the hull, and more hags pile onto the Antigone's deck. A gaggle of hags tumble out of the dining hall, stumbling over one another to get to the tieflings. Pelious grabs a bottle of alcohol from the stockroom, rips it off a strip of his shirt and stuff it into the bottle. He conjures fire from his hand and lights the fabric, tossing it down the passage. It explodes in flames.
Aliira scans the deck. "Where are the children? Where is Braithe?"
Scottie quickly responds to Aliira"They all escaped the ship using the flying broom that Mara had. We promised to meet on the Isle but first, we must get to the lifeboat. You guys were out there, how many hags are there? Is there a line to the lifeboat?"
Scottie will then look at the Spider and respond "Of course I will help you get to land."
Pelious loads everyone into the life boat. They all huddle under Tanari. Pelious helps Aliira into the lifeboat when a seemingly dead hag launches herself from the floor with a scream, slamming her fist through the tiefling's chest. The hag screams, launching herself at the lifeboat full of people. Haven intercepts and pounces on the hag, and the pair tumble over the edge into the crashing ocean. Aliira clutches Pelious in her hands.
"I was going to give your friends this." he coughs. "I didn't know if it was going to help, but I thought you could give this to Hogstout to prove to him that your friends are telling the truth. I guess it doesn't matter now that you're taking the giant spider with you, but here you go."
Pelious coughed up blood until the life drained from his eyes and Aliira sobbed over his corpse. As more hags climbed up the side of the ship, Aliira dragged herself from Pelious' body and tumbled into the lifeboat.
The lifeboat drifted from the burning ship until it was just a glow on the horizon and the Isle of Ishbrae appeared through the crisp, grey morning. It doesn't seem at all like the stories; it seems peaceful.
The lifeboat pulls into the dock and you all pile out, happy to finally feel firm land beneath you. Aliira says nothing, her usually bright face stoney. She turns and peers back at the ocean, silent tears streaming down her face.
You notice a drow elf leaning against a wall in the docks, he is watching you.
His cowl pulled over his head low so the party getting off the boat cannot tell what he looks like. I approach the group "This is your unofficial welcome " says with a slight bow. uncovering that he is a wood elf who looks like he has seen better days.
“Hello there, could you do us a favor. Where is the nearest tavern and the closest piece of woods for our friend here” Scottie will say with a smile as he gestures to the giant spider.
Serik was about to make his way up to the group disembarking the life boat, when he noticed the figure approach them. He wasn't sure what was happening with this new figure, but he noticed it was a wood elf when he bowed. Serik decided it might be wise to see how this plays out before revealing himself.
