(Could Dench reasonably either help or provide guidance? I think Uri is to far away to help, although he could jump down if it looks like Direcris is being swept away.)
Dench slips in the water trying to grab the rope, but makes it to Direcris. Sir Gadston is able to snatch up the rope and Gavyn helps the knight pull the two back to the shore. Working together, the group is able to scale the rope Uri left on the far side cliff. Everyone is wet and cold as the wind picks up a bit. The path ahead is clear.
"Thank you all for the save." Direcris wrings as much of the water out of his coat that he can and puts it back on with a sigh. "Right. Let's get to the tower so we can have a good look around before dusk."
The group continues through the dreary landscape. Most of the fog is dissipated by the wind coming in revealing the grey sky again. The path banks away from the river, climbing higher and higher into the mountains. Soon the air is filled with the roar of a massive rush of water. From the top of a ridge the group can see the source of the noise, a waterfall. The Arrowhead river plunging into mists below while the path snakes toward the start of the river's decent, a couple miles from the ridge you are on.
(Everyone please make a Constitution check)
Perched at the top of the waterfall, in the center of the Arrowhead river, is a large flat black rock with a tower rising from it. The stone structure appears to be about 45 ft. high with a wooden door at the base and windows at three distinct levels: 13, 23, and 33 ft. up. Additionally, there is a large stained glass window from 8-19 ft. up, and a giant telescope protruding from the domed roof.
There is a small second structure that hangs over the edge of the flat black rock, with some sort of broken mechanism on the river side. The mountain path leads straight to a stone bridge that crosses the closer part of the river and seems to be the only entrance to the tower island. The sun is now descending in the sky.
Sir Gadston
If Gadston is on the other side of the river and has access to the rope tied to Direcris he will grasp it and pull him to shore.
(Gadston, make a Dexterity check to grab a rope to pull Driscris in before he drifts off)

"See, what did I say" he says "Nothing like a brisk morning bath and cliff climb." He smiles broadly.
"Now, which way? Who has the oracle stone?" he asks. Or should we rest and get ourselves sorted out first?"
"Let us gather our gear and move on", urges Uri, "The sooner we get moving, the sooner you will warm up."
"At least now we don't have to worry about being followed - I hope."
Dench presents the oracle stone to the party.
"I'm never touching a rope again," he says, "but luckily I think the way is clear from here to the fortress."
Water drains from his armor and backpack. He soon stands in a wide puddle, shivering in squeaky boots.

Gadston sets off to the next obstacle.
