Toc glances around the tavern at the people who are all looking at them with impressed, awe filled eyes. He glances at Zhuti. "For the moment. We are in Port Llast, north of Neverwinter, at a friends bar. But if I don't secure the location, those Lichs will easily be able to scry on us and follow. I must do something immediately...."
Not helping with the bodies, and ignoring the crowd of stunned people around them begins picking through his belt pouches while he starts mumbling words of power. He begins strolling around the group and room, as people move aside to make room for him, as he tosses bits of powder across the ground, weaving his hands and casting a spell. It seems as if it will take him several minutes to complete as he ignores everything else.

Xemnez reflexes get the better of him as axe is dropped in favor of catching the diamond. But though he shot a disapproving glare for the ordering about, the golden manned leonin only grunted and did as asked, then left Zhuti to whatever work she intended so he might snatch up the axe once more and scan the immediate area for any signs of Lich's or their minions somehow already among the crowd having been waiting for their arrival.
Yet if even in a passing look the patrons seemed to still be recovering from their surprise (with the exception of the one clearly excited guy..), Xemnez shoulders sagged as a light sigh of relief is allowed to escape. "Uh... Apologies for the, uhm, interruption of meals. Compensation of coin..."He hesitates, remembering almost every single coin of his had been sunk into previous venture. But then with a huff he continued on speaking to the crowd of people of peace... while still at least holding on to a bloody axe, "Some compensation may be provided. It is, however, strongly suggested non-warriors seek elsewhere for food and accommodations. Or at the very least, relocate yourselves closer to the exits."

Nuzej is okay - not near death but has seen better days. He’s beat up from the fight and the temp help from Zhuti represents a significant boost to his overall health.
When Toc speaks he smacks his forehead and mutters something about not wanting to lead them to myth drannor or other sensitive places but as he looks around at the bar patrons he forgot Fianna’s retirement might actually be a going concern.
Xemnez lays Kit kat on a table after a graceful sweep of his arms lays it bare...though his axe clatters to the floor as he catches the stone from the sword woman. With his hands free he quickly scoops up his axe and begins speaking to those in the bar. Meanwhile, Zhuti places her hands onto Kyriani and whispers a simple prayer. She watches, with bated breath at the horrid burns and wounds across the priestesses body...for some sign of healing occurring. Then she notices a few of the weeping burns seem to crust over, and Kyriani's eyes open and she lets out a long pained groan.
The crowd seems to become all smiles, and oohs and ahhhs, as some of them point at various party members and whisper amongst themselves. The patrons out on the ample deck have also come huddling to the doorways to look inside. They seem....impressed...by Xemenez's words, but unafraid.....and they certainly don't take any action to leave or find an exit. One man takes a bite out of a turkey drumstick as he smiles and watches the events. Xemnez hears someone say, "They really put on a show in this place...extra mile for sure..."
A man that also looks entirely too excited walks up to Xemnez. His eyes seem to bounce around though as if trying to see everything at once...from the healing at the table, to the wizard casting some sort of ritual. "Excuse me....sir...um...I'm afraid I'm not familiar with you as I am with the others....." he seems to act a bit humble and says, "...well...by their deeds and descriptions at least. My name is Tomas. I'm an official here in Llast. Is there something I can do for you?" He waves at a couple other folk standing to one side, "Torrence, Slayt, get over here, this is serious, they need our help." He turns back to Xemnez and in an entirely too pleased and also too falsely serious says, "I stand at your beck and call."
Nuzej takes a quick moment to take a peak inside his pouch. Despite his fears that somehow a switch was done, he sees the pale rounded rock safely stowed away where he'd last placed it.

Thyrius began barfing even before the teleportation was done. Amidst heroic deeds, tabletop magical surgery, urgent rituals, mental updates, and excited crowds, the black cat is a pool of stink. The spirits swirling about the black cat seem to wisp away as giving the Leonin the space he needed to recompose himself. A passing observer unfamiliar with the undead might have thought the spirits were quite disgusted at the display.
-> Dropping concentration on the spell here, that Nat 1 comes with a price.
Shamelessly gripping a table cloth, Thyrius cleans himself as best as he can before remembering he, sometimes, is also capable of some mundane magical trickery. Out of embarrassment, he does away with the bile, its lingering smell, and the extra saliva, mucus, and tears on his face and mane.
His golden brother's offering gives Thyrius a way out. At the brief mention of coin and compensation, Thyrius raises his own purse. Despite it being much lighter than before, it still had enough in it to save his brother from making an empty promise.
Zhuti sighs in relief as Kyriani coughs. “By the Maiden’s generous assets, I am glad to see you back with us,” she says to her. Waiting one more moment (everyone gets their 1d6+17 temp hp if they want them, incl Kyriani), she lets both of her fields drop, and light floods back in to the room, the unnatural twilight bleeding away.
Zhuti will quickly fill Kyriani in on everything that happened since she held the stone up for Nuzej to see.

Tomas' face becomes very serious and he turns to two wide eyes men that approach. To Xemnez he says, "I am a warrior. I will help." Then he turns to the two men he'd called over, "Gentlemen, we have evil undead who could appear at any moment and raze this place to the ground, killing everyone here! It's our DUTY to warn these people and get them to safety. Remember, women and children first!"
He turns to the crowds around the edges of the room, "THIS IS NOT AN ACT. THIS IS SERIOUS. PLEASE EXIT THE TAVERN AND GO TO THE FORTRESS FOR REFUGE IMMEDIATELY."
Everyone stands around, jostling a bit....waiting to see what happens next. Someone smiles more broadly at this.
"I'M NOT KIDDING, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE PEOPLE!"
This seems to finally shock them into movement. Looking more disappointed than scared, the patrons begin clearing out, with Torrence and Slayt ushering them away and stopping the odd person from going back for a personal item. A large double door in one of the back walls pushes open, and a large golden snout looks out. A dragon, a bit bigger than a horse comes tentatively pushing its way out. Beyond the doors you see what appears to be a wide, slanting tunnel into the ground. The golden creature opens its mouth and speaks in a guttural voice, "Oh, more visitors. How lovely. My name is Fuadain."
Through all of this, Kyriani, who has propped herself up painfully on the table, is listening to Zhuti fill her in, while Toc roams the room continuing with his ritual.
Kyriani closes her eyes, focusing on herself, and the room. A silver wave of healing energy washing across the place. (Everyone receives 45 hps of healing.)
Looking better, the woman slides her feet onto the ground. "Zhuti, thank you. You've certainly saved my life...and by saving the stone, you've likely been pivotal in Selune's grand plans." She glances to Nuzej, "So, you still have the stone, yes? No no, I don't need to see it...good." Then she notices Kit Kat, and walks over, looking sadly upon the girl, "I was too confident. Undead couldn't enter our holy ground. It wasn't her time...we must ask Selune for more time for her."
Eventually Toc completes his ritual and the sounds of the city outside seem to rapidly fade away and then are gone. The windows of the tavern fill with a grey mist. The room feels suddenly like it's an island of its own. Toc nods, "We are secure."

With Xem steering the folks in here in the right direction, Thyrius comes over to Zhuti as well. The black cat introduces himself by name, adding: "I'm the one with the cut on my eye," as if that was the most apparent physical feature that distinguished him from his golden-maned brother. "Thank you for aiding in our escape. You have enabled us to continue our plight to save this realm and countless others."
“You and your brother are formidable,” Zhuti says, glancing at the golden cat.
She begins to gather her long hair, holds it in one hand and reaches for… her hand closes on nothing. A frown crosses her face and then she laughs ruefully.
”I seem to have left my stuff behind at the inn. Most of it replaceable, but I would dearly like my armor and shield back.” She looks around, spotting Nuzej again. “I suppose I must beg a trip from the monk wizard with the full head of hair?”
”Perhaps after a resurrection and a rest,” she adds, her gaze falling on Kitkat’s charred body.
Xemnez had managed to look both impressed and a little envious of Tomas while watching the man clear the room. Though silently able to assuage himself of being able to do the same had he used a bit more effort, his attention is soon stolen seeing a dragon of all things. "Uh... Greeting Fuadain. Apologies for the disruptions, but...."He'd trailed off from there momentarily distracted by the silvery light and restoration of vitality.
A thankful nod goes Kyriani as the source became clear, and though confused for a moment, Xemnez returns the diamond and had meant to leave her to her work while continuing to address the dragon in the room. "Apologies again, Fuadain. Uhm, are you the, uh... owner of this establishment? If so, I presume any compensation for the disruption is owed to you most of all, yes? The name is Xemnez, by the way. And though you've probably no cause to be off world, I and my brother over there are what you may call a Leonin." As Xemnez is addressing and interacting with the dragon over the presumed course of a minute, he couldn't help sizing them up and trying to get a feel for their strength.
-If able, Xemnez is using Know Your Enemy to determine if the dragon is equal, superior, or inferior to him in terms of strength and current hit points.
Toc mentally messages the whole group, but addresses the thoughts to Simaal, "Hey Simaal, this priestess of Selune that we came here with is missing her armor and shield, and personal effects. Is the Inn fully engaged in flames? Are you still in the area? Any chance you could help fetch some things?"
He nods to Zhuti, and then Kyriani and says out loud, "Thank you. By the way, we left someone behind in Waterdeep. It's possible he can fetch. your belongings. I'll let you know shortly. In the meantime, I'll leave you to your work." His eyes briefly glance at Kit Kat and then he goes and stands next to the golden Leonin who is starting a conversation with the golden dragon.
Fuadain slithers into the room, finding the large spot in front of the fire to lay down with a heavy, scaly thud. He seems to locate a roasted turkey leg knocked to the floor in the chaos, and goes about gnawing on it between words. He nods the Xemnez, "This building belongs to Fianna, I just live here. I think you've more than compensated her for any disruption, by appearing here in such a fashion and adding to the legend of this place. I'm afraid you've guaranteed the continued pitter patter of numerous humans coming from far and wide to drink at this tavern with the hope of witnessing some heroic event while they enjoy a roasted turkey leg." *crack* The bones snaps in two in his grip. Xemnez looks at the lizard. He figures it is likely weaker than him. For all its size, it is obviously a young creature, still growing, likely to become much larger over the years. He'd guess it's probably no more than 5 years old.
