"You knew I'd win!" Ebele chimes in a whisper as she's swept off down the hall with Hawke. She was ready to throw paper with the assumption that he'd naturally go rock. The monk was definitely quieter on her feet than the druid when he was in his humanoid form, but she was just as guilty as him for whispering to each other while they made their way down the hall instead of communicating telepathically like they should.
Hawke would guide Ebele to the first door on the left. She'd press her ear against it and she'd be able to confirm that the room was empty before trying to the door. "Psst. It's locked." Taking a closer look, Hawke would be able to confirm that one could easily open the iron hasp and pin arrangement to get in. As he looked though, Ebele snuck forward. "How far does this hall go..."
Map
Ebele found a turn in the hallway. She'd pause to listen, long enough for Hawke to notice she slipped away from his side. So far there was no sign of patrol, but something in her mind kept telling her it should be any time. She'd raise a hand to make an advance gesture.
"I hear water again..." The blonde would whisper when Hawke would join her. He'd be able to confirm for her that there was a stream with a bridge to the east, but he'd also remind her there was a door ahead. The druid would then lead her across the hall.
This time Hawke would review the door at the same time Ebele would press her ear against the wall. It wasn't locked. "I hear snoring." Keeping his eye on her and the end of the hall, he'd make sure she wouldn't scurry off on him again. "Shh..." She'd shush him even if he didn't say anything, reaching out to cover his mouth. The druid would see her brows knit in concentration. The monk would place her other hand against the wall close to her face. It'd be feint, but she'd feel a rumble or scraping, as if a door was being open. To the east.
Ebele's head would lean towards Hawke. Finally remembering his psychic abilities, she'd try thinking to him. Someone's opening another door to this room...

Snort. Huh?
Ebele sucks air in through her teeth as she hears the snoring behind the door come to a stop. Whoever was opening the door also stopped. Footsteps would begin to click along the ground and make their way around.
