The Cult of what??? I no nothing of that. Im here to listen for the delvers for the believers
Kerric:
Drawing on the ground, Kerric traces the symbol of the cult, saying, “They also call themselves the ‘Bringers of Woe’ and use this symbol...Do you still deny any knowledge?”
T'chal'fronack'zcinicker smiles, “well, all this is making sense now. By which I mean it isn’t at all of course. But anyway, alright, open her up, let’s look at these magic rocks.”

An enormous chamber with a twenty-foot ceiling has been carved out of the rock here. A lighted lantern rests on the floor near the center of the room. An odd array of stone monoliths — some upright standing stones, and others arranged in three-stone arches — stand around the chamber. Six low stone slabs are set against the walls around the perimeter of the room. Each holds humanoid bones, dressed in scraps of tattered cloth and rusted iron.
"I accept that you and these 'Believers' are different than the evil cultists who worship the Black earth and go around calling themselves the 'Bringers of Woe' and attacking people on sight," Kerric says to the frightened man, asking, "What can you tell me of the Believer's purpose? Who or what do they believe in?"

The Believers gather secretly at the tomb once every nine nights to see if any stones have moved — and if any have, they covertly meet the next night to discuss what the movements mean, and what is to be done the elders use it to guide the town
"Of all the strange human customs..." thinks Kerric. As an aside to T'chal, Kerric speaks quietly, saying, "While I don't understand this practice, I personally don't have any issue with these 'Believers', though this operation might get a lot tougher on them if they allow the 'Bringers of Woe' to coexist with them down here. What does concern me is that they have a Cleric of Earth who reads the stones for the Believers and works with the Bringers of Woe--he could be the connection to the Cult of the Black Earth and easily radicalize these Believers into rabid cultists."
Turning back to the guard, Kerric asks, "Has the Cleric of Earth always interpreted the stone for you, or was it done by others not associated with the Bringers of Woe in the past? What can you tell us about him?"

"What about you, Braelen, do you remember what it was like before this cleric showed up and took over?" asks Kerric, turning to the boy they rescued. "These Bringers of Woe seem pretty hostile, and perhaps this cleric leads them--what was his name again?"

T'chal'fronack'zcinicker wanders into the room and takes a peek around. He glances at the rocks wondering why or how they might move. He pokes one. Otherwise he moves about looking for other exits. Assuming he doesn't see any he returns. "Well...I just want to go play with those rods on the wall a bit, then we can head down the main tunnel and take that last turn we didn't take. Then we can get the boy back to his dad lickity split....and FINALLY call it a day. Whew. After the paperwork of course."

He shrugs, that was weird, but he's not feeling the latitude to do much experimenting at the moment. He continues his walk around the room, making sure there are no other exits/entrances, and then returns to the group. "One more hallway to check out then we can bring the boy home."
He would lead the group back to the room the boy had been pinned in, then take a few moments experimenting with the bars on the wall.
Reghys can't help but wonder aloud: "So, these believers. They think the movement of the stones carry meaning, correct? Since the priest interpreting these movements is apparently known to work with the cultists, would it be unreasonable to assume that the cultists could somehow move the stones to influece the believers for their own machinations? I for one want to know more about these believers, because from the appearance of things, they might be unwitting compliances at best or a further branch of the cult at worst..." At that point, they are interrupted by the rumbling sound from the chamber next door.
" T, what are you doing?" Curiousity having the better of them, Reghys follows to have a look into the room as well and seeing T handle the levers, they can't help but smile: "I'm impressed... Are you sure there isn't some sort of form or checklist you need to fill out before experimenting with levers in underground caverns? Just think of the potential healt hand safety risks..." The big grin on Reghys' face makes it almost impoosible for them to get through that list.
