Moneo, holding his pencil, points it down towards the group at the gates. Looking to the archers he says “We must reduce their numbers! From there we can worry about the large beasts!”And casts faerie fire ((dc dex 13)) on their group, and directing those with him to loose their arrows towards the armored creatures.
Reminder that Aeneas has bardic inspiration from way back.
I'll do one roll for the group for the DC 13 DEX save: 15
Moneo feels the magic building up in his body, looking for a release through the end of the pencil that he's holding, but for some reason, as the magical energy wends its way through him and then through the pencil, it dissipates into the air.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Townsfolk groups 1 and 2 are taking a break from the fighting. Group 1 will heal themselves with one of the healing potions that Moneo and Neskaryn prepared earlier. 7
Group 3 will actually attempt to engage the creatures in front of the gate:
Attack: 21 Damage: 5
In a panicked frenzy, the townspeople, who are only just now actively entering the battle, attempt to poke and prod the creatures through the makeshift wooden barrier but they don't make contact with anything.
Caradoc lets off his first crossbow bolt, which lands in the leg of the creature he was targeting. The creature is hobbled and drops to one knee. Then, quickly behind it, the second bolt follows lodging between the neck and the collarbone, piercing the creature's lungs. He falls to the ground, gasping for air, and choking on his own blood. He's dead.

Enemies' Turns
Cultist:
Bonus Action: Using the spiritual weapon to attempt to smash the barrier: Attack: 21 Damage: 2
The cultist's aetherial weapon comes down on the roadblock, making solid contact, but only doing 2 damage.
Action: Casts Hold Person on Aeneas: DC 11 WIS save for Aeneas: 10 + Bardic Inspiration 4
Aeneas feels like a cold, lifeless hand begins to grasp him, almost squeezing the breath out of his lungs. He feels his joints begin to seize up and a palpable discomfort arises in them. But, in the back of his mind, Moneo's words from earlier surge to the forefront of his memory, and their magic infuses with his willpower as he forces the magical grip of the cultist's words to let go of him as if he were waking himself up from a nightmare by screaming. He resists the spell.
The Bird
The bird flies over the Fort walls from the southeast and dives in to attack Townsfolk group 1:
Attack: 21 Damage: 4.
Silent as a ninja, the bird dives down and pecks at the townsfolk with its beak. It rises into the air, again, just enough to turn around and let gravity assist it to come in for a second attack:
Attack 2: 15 Damage: 6
Again, the bird dives and again, the bird flies up with blood dripping from its beak.
Large Monstrous Beast
The large beast moves forward 50 feet. It is almost within range to trample the roadblock.
Hobgoblin 3
He points his longbow up towards the wall and fires at Aeneas, who recently took out one of his own:
Attack: 20 Damage: 6
The arrow flies from the hobgoblin and hits Aeneas in the shoulder.
Hobgoblin 4
He is going to focus his attention on the barrier with his longsword:
Attack: 4 Damage: 4
He doesn't aim his sword very well, and it manages to bounce off of the wood of the barrier ineffectively.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Updated Map - Aeneas's Turn
Aeneas is going to use a free action to pull the arrow from his shoulder and he's going to wince through the pain to attempt to fire an arrow at the hobgoblin that attacked him:
Attack: 15 Damage: 7
Aeneas is able to fight through his injury and he fires his crossbow at the hobgoblin, significantly injuring him.
Since nothing broke through and Damara had a moment to catch her breath, Damara will turn the corner, seeing the Hobgoblins attempting to batter down the barricade, and the large beast beyond getting close. She'll take a wild stab at the nearest Hobgoblin she can hit through the barricade with her greatsword(reckless).
Attack: 16 Damage: 8
If that hits, they take an extra 7 Necrotic damage
The strike hits, with just the tip of the blade slashing through the neck just enough to cause the hobgoblin to collapse, bleeding out and grasping at his neck.
(Since that was a reckless attack, enemies have advantage when attack Damara, right?)
“Nice hit!” Moneo calls out to Damara. And disappointed by the last spell, he again tries to light up the enemies, but this time focusing on the huge beast and the cultist near it, as they’ll be the biggest threat soon.
bonus action: bardic inspiration to Darara - 1d6 when needed action: faerie fire, dex 13 dc
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Both the cultist and the large beast roll +2 for the DEX save throw.
6 - Cultist
6 - Beast
This time, when Moneo reaches down for the magic, it feels more familiar. It feels warm and comfortable as it flows from his core, into his arm, and out through the pencil in his hand. This time, it hits its target and the large beast and the cultist are lit up like a holiday decoration.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The townsfolk are up next. Townsfolk 1 and 2 are both just waiting and hoping that nothing more bad happens to them, for the most part. But, Townsfolk 1 are going to attempt to shoot at the metal bird construct that just attacked them:
Attack: 18 Damage: 9
Unsurprisingly, these untrained farmers miss their target.
Group 3, once again attempts to strike at the last standing hobgoblin:
9 Damage: 10
They also miss, their swords and pitchforks going every which way but in the right direction.

(I went ahead and added 9 HP back onto your character sheet for you, so you're at 18, now. )
MonstrosityDC13 STR save: 20 - It is not tripped, but the crossbow bolt is launched from the crossbow and lands directly in the left shoulder of the creature, causing 15 damage.
Bird DC13 STR save: 7 - Caradoc fails to wing the bird and bring it down, but the crossbow bolt does hit its target, causing the bird 12 points of damage.
Will again attempt to break down the barrier: Bonus Action: Using the spiritual weapon to attempt to smash the barrier: Attack: 15 Damage: 3
The spiritual weapon, once again, comes down hard on the roadblock, causing damage to the structure
Then, again, the Cultist will attempt to render Aeneas ineffective. Action: Casts Hold Person on Aeneas: DC 11 WIS save for Aeneas: 11
Once again, Aeneas is able to resist the magical hold.
The Bird
The bird, once again, makes two swooping attacks against the 1st group of townsfolk:
Attack 1: 12 Damage: 5
Attack 2: 10 Damage: 5
This time, both attacks miss and the bird flies back up out of melee reach as it prepares for the next time it tries to attack
Large Monstrous Beast
The monstrous beast reaches the roadblock and rears back to attack it with its hooves, and then after it comes down, it goes in to try and rip it apart with its mouth.
Hoof Attack: 19 Damage: 15
The roadblock is barely holding itself together at this point.
Bite Attack: 25 Damage: 12
The beast grabs the roadblock and begins thrashing it around like a dog with a toy. Splinters of wood go flying in all directions. The roadblock is broken.
Hobgoblin 4
Being the last alive of his brethren, the hobgoblin rushes in as soon as he sees the roadblock destroyed and attacks Townsfolk Group 3:
Two-Handed longsword Attack: 13 Damage: 5
He weilds his sword with anger and rage and slashes at the group, dealing 5 damage to them as he does.
Moneo, holding his pencil, points it down towards the group at the gates. Looking to the archers he says “We must reduce their numbers! From there we can worry about the large beasts!” And casts faerie fire ((dc dex 13)) on their group, and directing those with him to loose their arrows towards the armored creatures.
