Paakia chuckles at Arial. "Times like these friend, you must... show off!" She quickly pulls a handaxe from her belt and flings it at archer's hay barrel. She tries to land it dead center, in an attempt to both startle and impress the puny human man.

"Damned cross-breeze," I mutter. 

It's not hard to hit a stationary hay bale. Roll an Athletics check to see how accurate you were. 

As the hand axe flys toward the the hay bale and hits Nix uses Druidcraft  to make a shower of green leaves float down at the same moment of the axe hitting the bale. It seems like both of you are skilled and talented. You seem like an accomplished one, have you heard about any of these strange things going on. The lands just don't feel right anymore. 

"Elemental Evil.  I was sent here to stop it." 

Athletics 22

"Elemental evil? Like what? Also, still haven't gotten your name there, mate." Arial says from next to Paakia. 

"My name is Robin.  You are a triton.  Your people live in the sea.  You have a very strong connection to the element of water, but would you have all fire removed from the world?  At a guess, no, because you need heat to survive.  The followers of Olhydra would."  I turn to the person who challenged me at the thing I have devoted my life to and won because of a crossbreeze.  "You are a goliath.  Your people live in the mountains.  You have a very strong connection to the element of earth, but would you have all air removed from the world?  At a guess, no, because you need air to survive.  The followers of Ogrémoch would.  That is Elemental Evil." 

The axe blade sinks into the hay bale, not quite in the center, but close enough to be considered impressive.

Jack claps for the goliath's axe throw. Arial looks puzzled for a moment, "Olhydra? That name rings a bell..." Arial's eyes widen, "Any relation to a 'Crushing Wave?'"

"That is one of Her titles, yes." 

The Goliath grinned at Jack and gave a small head bow to him.

Paakia places her hands on her hips and considers the human's words. "A strong connection to earth? Maybe," She did have an affinity for the more natural parts of the world. Was this what he meant? She considers, "It seems quite silly for anyone to want to remove any elements from this realm. I do not understand any point to it."

She watches as Arial seemed to get a spark of something in his eyes. "The Crushing Wave! Those blokes you go on and on about..." She gets a fire in her eye too. Paakia hopes they find these strange people that destroyed Arial's home into the waters deep. 

"So this elemental evil destroyed my ship! It's decided then, you're helping me get revenge on these bloody Crushing Wave cultists! They'll remember this as the day that they almost escaped the wrath of Captian Arial Velariath!" Arial says with a pound of his fist.

"Any who destroys the homes of my friends will suffer direly!" Paakia roared, feeling Arial's energy. She was getting pumped up.

I collect my arrows, toss the goliath her axe, and ask if anyone knows where to find the Cult of the Crushing Wave.  "--I've been looking for them for a--what do you call them--tenday with no success." 

"Yes, what she said, but more importantly my ship!"

"Ahhh," Paakia deflated somewhat. "I would have thought you would know, Robin." She scratched her head awkwardly and looks to Arial, "Any clue?"

Arial takes notice of the human talking, "Ah but here's the difference between you and I, mate.  I know exactly who I'm looking for! A bloke by the name of Gar Shatterkeel.  An ugly, barnacled, son of a sea hag.  We find him, we find the cultists and that elemental evil you seem so keen about!"

"Do you know where to find him?"
