Maglath would worry about whether what the monstrous being had said about Lyre was true or not later. Had the creature not dealt a near fatal blow to John, Maglath would have been inclined to just let the pathetic creature go. But this would not stand, and in its current state it was just as likely to let the Redbrands know they were here.
Maglath runs the 5' he was from the crevasse quickly, crouches and makes a 10' standing long jump across the chasm. Once he races 15' along the other side of the ravine he drops his warhammer and pulls a javelin from it's spot across his back and hurls it 20' at the creature.
(OOC: I've gone with using half Maglath's strength for an easy standing long jump, but let me know if you want a check there and am assuming that once on the other side, and closer to the creature, it won' t be behind full cover anymore. Assuming he can attack: Attack: 26 Damage: 11 )

Jeb moves to the second bridge adjacent to the pillar that the creature hid behind. He then dashes across the bridge to flank the beast as Maglath leaps across the chasm to approach from the other direction.
Move - Jeb moves his full movement to get to the bridge to close with the beast.
Bonus Action - Jeb dashes across the bridge to attack the one-eyed beast.

Maglath bounds over the crevasse and launches a javelin, which pierces the creature's fleshy hide. As it makes an inhuman squeal of pain, Jeb dashes over the far bridge and stabs it.
(No Sneak Attack damage, due to no adjacent allies. Remember to act for John.)
Meanwhile, Murmen has jumped across the crevasse, but realizes he can't close the distance with the creature. He still has the necessary line of sight for a spell.

John reeling from the necromatic attack from the odd beast wipes the blood flowing from his eyes. He watches as Jeb sprints to attack the creature as it attempted to shelter behind the far pillar. Maglath and Murmen both leap across the chasm to prevent its flight from Jeb. John shoulders his crossbow and readies a bolt to fire at the beast should it attempt to flee into the chasm.
Action - John readies to fire at the beast should it move from out of the cover of the pillar.

Lyre emerges from the shadows and sees the party coalescing near the other pillar. Noting that the barkeep is injured, he motions his hand for John to see and points behind the pillar he was previously occupying. Using his Cunning Action to get just to the left of the bridge, he will take a shot directly at the creature’s green eye, using Jeb’s presence to seek out an opportune moment to strike. He then darts as far away as possible, near the pillar he was at before.
To hit: 22 dealing 9 piercing damage plus 5 Sneak Attack damage.

Arikon just can't get a clear line of sight on the abomination, as the pillar conceals it. Lyre dashes up until he gets a clear shot, but unfortunately his crossbow bolt bounces off it's fleshy hide. John, still reeling from the necromatic blast, manages to bring his own crossbow in a ready position.
However, Murmen and Jeb advance from two directions, now facing it in close combat. However, the nothic doesn't seem to be fazed, as a voracious smile is on it's face, revealing the jagged teeth on it's hideous maw.
"You foolishly believe that you can defeat one as I. As you fall into the abyss, your folly will be revealed!"
The creature leaps at Jeb and Murmen, attempting to push them into the Crevasse!
(Athletics or Acrobatics check, or be pushed into the pit.)
Murmen plants his feet solidly, and refuses to budge even an inch under the creature's weight. Dwarves are small, but they can stand as sturdily as a mountain.

Maglath sees the Nothic leap at both Jeb and Murmen. This thing is stronger than it looks, he thinks. Knowing that if he can get in close and engage it in battle, Lyre will be able to take advantage of the distraction he causes to find a weak spot.
Maglath picks up his warhammer, charges the remaining 20' to close in on the creature. Once there he hefts the warhammer up and swings it straight at the massive eye.
Murmen roars as he sees Jeb (presumably) fall into the pit. He drops his hammer to grab the creature firmly with both hands, and attempts to hurl it behind him into the chasm.

Jeb fails to evade the creature’s shove, it’s unnatural strength sending him into the crevasse! He lands on his back a pile of rubble, taking 9 damage. It’s dark down here for Jeb’s human eyes, but also unnaturally cold. As the rogue’s eyes adjust to his surroundings, he realizes that he’s surrounded by broken and gnawed skulls and bones! And among the bones, a half-eaten corpse of a human man lays next to him, still clutching a piece of red cloth in it’s fist.
Also, despite the darkness, Jeb can spot a cubbyhole in the stone wall under the bridge. A faint glimmer of blue light emanates from the hole...
Maglath has rushed forward to take Jeb’s place, accompanying Murmen who stood his ground against the creature. However, Maglath’s hammer barely grazes the agile creature. Still, Lyre’s bolt finds it’s mark this time, and the creature seems quite wounded. Then, Murmen lunges forward to try to hurl the abomination into the pit.
Acrobatics: 19
Murmen’s hands slip on the slimly, undulating skin of the creature. It snarls at him arching it’s back in preparation to repeat it’s previous actions.

Jeb has the wind knocked out of him as he impacts upon the discarded pile of bones from past victims. He slowly checks his extremities to be sure nothing is broken and climbs to his feet with a groan. He staggers towards to the cubby with the soft blue glow cautiously his rapier at hand.

Murmen shakes his head, and roars in anger. He forgoes his magic completely, charging headlong at the creature.

He'll attempt to bury his hammer in the creature's head if he can make it that far.
