Maglath feels the energy of the sword and is momentarily distracted enough to let the bugbear facing him past his shield. He feels the spikes of the morning star stab into his shoulder.
Three bugbears when they're already injured from the last fights might be too much. They had to get this over quickly.
He slashes out again with Talon, striking at the bugbear in front of him.
The Blue Bugbear is overwhelmed by psychic power from Arikon, and looks to be very injured. Jeb's strike lands on the Green as well, but John's bolt misses.
The Red Bugbear roars out and tries to charge past Murmen, knowing that Lyre is underneath the bed.

Maglath takes a breath as he almost loses his balance when the bugbear blocks his attack. But then the bugbear roars in anger at Lyre and tries pushing past Murmen, leaving his sides completely open to Maglath.
He slashes out quickly, trying to finish this bugbear before it can get to Lyre.
(Opportunity Attack on the Red Bugbear if appropriate - Attack: 9 Damage: 8 plus any Talon modifiers)

(If the bugbear approaching Lyre falls to the opportunity attacks / attacks targeting it, he will Disengage and proceed to send this shot at the most injured bugbear. If the bugbear falls, Lyre will use his bonus action to hide once again.)
Lyre chitters back to the Bugbear in a pitch-perfect reflection of sound. "I'll crush you, welp!" Action: Attack: 24 Damage: 10 Bonus: See first two lines. If needed, Stealth: 22
Maglath slashes at the Red bugbear before it can reach Lyre, and the goblinoid tumbles and crashes on top of the bed Lyre is underneath before it dies.
Murmen unleashes a powerful blow on the Blue Bugear, completely braining it with his hammer.
Maglath then cuts the Green Bugbear with his longsword, followed by an arrow from Lyre. He falls to the ground, desperate trying to stop the bleeding.
"Damn you..."
He rips off his jeweled eyepatch, revealing a perfectly good eye. He defiantly stares down Maglath as he succumbs to his injures. And with his demise, the battle ends in the party's favor.
The goblin, mocked and bullied by the bugbears, still lies unconscious from fright on the ground. Lyre can hear another burst of laughter from the room on the right side of the hallway. It doesn't seem like the fight alerted anyone.

Maglath looks down at the bugbear that wore the eyepatch.
"Why would he do that if his eye is fine?" Maglath asks. "He reduces his field of vision and opens himself up to attacks from that side. I thought bugbears were clever."
He picks up the eyepatch and looks at it more closely.
"Is everyone okay?" he asks while looking at the eyepatch.

The eyepatch is made with black leather and is set with semi-precious stones, and would definitely be worth a good penny back in town. Maglath also notices an iron key dangling from the same bugbear.
The unconscious goblin on the floor remains asleep, while the sound of gamblers can still be heard from the other door across the hallway. What does the party do?

Maglath hands the eyepatch over to Murmen so he can examine it later. Then he picks up the iron key and passes it over to Lyre.
"That might come in handy when you're checking doors," he says as he hands the key over.
Maglath then starts doing a quick search of the room in case there's anything else valuable in here.
(Perception: 9 )
"We still haven't found the invisible leader," he says over his shoulder as he searches. "And if those are more bugbears in the next room we're going to get weaker still."
He pauses and looks at the others.
"Do we risk a break to catch our breathes? Or push on? We're not far from the way we came in if we don't want to risk staying in here to rest."

As the party is discussing their plan in the common room, the unconscious goblin on the ground stirs. He blinks his eyes open, and looks at the dead bodies of the bugbears with fear.
"Ah! Please don't hurt me!" he says in a broken Common.
He backs up into the corner, shaking.

Maglath pulls some rope out of pack and tosses it to Lyre.
"Your fingers are skilled at undoing knots, let's see how they are making some," Maglath says to Lyre. "Let's tie this one up."
He then moves over to one of the bugbears and tears some of their clothing into cloth strips. Maglath returns to the goblin.
"I believe you have told us what you know, but" he gestures at Lyre and the rope "we are going to tie you up and gag you in case you decide to curry favor with the Redbrands. And if you have lied to us, it will be easier to find you."
Maglath then stuffs some of the cloth in the goblin's mouth and ties a gag around his head, making sure to leave his nose clear.
"Nod if you can breath."

Droop points to the door on the other side of the hallway.
