The first hobgoblin (not the leader) has the same armor and weapons as the one you already searched. He wears two rings, each embedded with a deep blue gemstone.
The leader wears a metal breastplate, engraved with a family crest. He also wears a golden ring with the same carving. You recognize this design as the same one you saw on Kerowyn Hucrele’s ring back in Oakhurst. Additionally, he carries a stoppered bottle of red liquid you know to be a healing potion, and two vials of clear liquid.
Summer felt relieved that she was able to reduce the bloodshed of the fight, but hoped that she would have enough spell power for what comes next. "I guess it's not without saying we should prepare properly before moving forward?" she asked, looking around for any arrows to replaced the ones she used.

Arisys will retrieve her boomerang. "It is fortunate we avoided much combat, but I wonder if we shouldn't take a longer rest before venturing below. Maybe Grenl would permit us to remain here for the moment?"
Genken gathers up the rings and the crested armour, "Appears we may have found the missing children." He sighs, then pockets the healing potion and the two vials of clear liquid to investigate later.

"If you're looking for the rich ones, the girl made it down," Grenl comments. She turns her back to you, walking towards the door she emerged from. "You can stay here if you want, but you'll have company." Just as she says this, the northern door opens back up and goblins start trickling in. Two of the soldiers are the first to enter. One of the goblins, a very old man, notices you and pulls out a dagger with a crazed look in his eyes. The soldiers are quick to react, one yanking the blade from his hands and the other slapping him across the face. The one now carrying the weapon uses it to point to the bodies slumped around the room, then at Grenl, who is watching with hawkish eyes. The older goblin deflates a bit, shuffling away resignedly, and Grenl disappears into the other chamber, slamming the door behind her.
Summer, from the dead goblins you manage to retrieve 12 arrows.
Still standing over the fallen hobgoblin leader, Ondrej eyes the goblins as they file back into the chamber. "We can sleep here with this lot, or we can stay the night with the kobolds and come back this way tomorrow" he says to his companions without taking his gaze from the goblins. Picking out what seems to be the biggest goblin in the group, Ondrej stares him down from across the room. "If we stay here..." he locks eyes with the goblin, sending an unspoken message not to try anything. "I'll take first watch."
Genken smirks, "Well, we did put most of them to sleep rather than just killing them all," he shrugs as if to say 'they should leave us alone, perhaps'.
(It seems like the consensus is to spend the night here.)
The remainder of the goblins slowly return to the room and noise fills the space once more. They reclaim their spaces around the fires and on tattered bedrolls, though your group is given a wide berth. Fearful glances are frequently sent your way, especially towards Ondrej, who is glaring everyone down. At some point, the bodies are dragged away.
The night passes without incident, the goblins’ clamor eventually fading as most of them fall asleep. You each take a shift watching for any danger, and you notice the goblin soldiers doing the same. It seems that they don’t trust you fully, but won’t make a move if you don’t.
Morning comes, and the goblins wake, going about their business for the day. Grenl still has not emerged from her chamber.
"Should we pay a visit to Grenl and thank her for the wonderful hospitality of the evening?" Genken asks the others, his words dripping with sarcasm over the "hospitality". "I'm happy to leave these little friends alone to continue our journey if no one wishes to bother the caster though."
Ondrej gathers his weapons and tugs the straps securing his gear tight. He picks up a shield left behind by a hobgoblin and tests its weight, then straps it to his back, tossing the worn out goblin shield he had been carrying into the pile of trash at the end of the chamber. "Let's not waste time here" he grunts to Genken. "I want to get down that hole and see what else tries to stand between me and that apple."
Genken snaps his fingers, "Let's do it then," he chuckles and then gives a small bow and wave to the goblins as they make their way towards the pit in the next room.
You enter the circular room, and as expected, a wide shaft pierces the center of the floor. It's surrounded by a two-foot-high stone wall, and peering down it, you see that it's lined with pale vines and the same luminescent purple fungus from the chamber before. The dim glow coming from the hole is supplemented by four torches mounted on the room's walls. Sitting against the wall opposite you is a crudely fashioned stone throne that's size is more appropriate for one of the hobgoblins than Grenl. At the foot of the throne rests a large iron chest.
"What do you think they keep in there?" Arisys asks to the group indicating to the chest at the base of the throne. Images of coins and gems start to appear in front of her. Minor Illusion "Oops. Sorry." She will dispell the images.
Genken chuckles at the illusions, "Well, why don't we find out?" His eyes glint with excitement. He makes his way over to the chest and looks over it closely, checking for traps before he attempts to open it (Investigation: 18).
Genken's investigation rolls - #1: 24, #2: 19, #3: 21.

Genken chuckles, "Well, of course, my blood-thirsty friend. Unless, of course, anyone objects and wants to see Grenl?" he looks to each of the others.
"I get the feeling that Grenl has grown tired of our presence. Let's make haste downward and see what awaits us."
Summer seemed a bit nervous about the unknown, but yet there was a glimmer of excitement in her eyes.
