With your plan figured out, the four of you walk up, while Skrípi stays behind.
As you all get closer, the two men standing outside look at you sternly, but make no moves to get in your way as you walk inside. The door is unlocked, and you step into the office you had snuck into only last night. Madik as you look around, you still see no flashes of aura that would indicate magical objects inside here.
A bestial man looks up at you from behind the counter. His ears are vaguely cat-like, and his facial features resemble lion more than human. A mane of dirty blonde hair falls to his shoulders, with a beard along his jawline to finish the mane-like look.
"Looking for work?" He growls - gruff, but not aggressively.
Skrípi circles about, looking for a place it could watch what's going on inside without attracting the attention of the guards or anyone else. Preferable through a passage other than the front entrance that it could enter through, though the front entrance is okay as well.
Perception(-3 if investigation): 9

(well, it's well hidden, though it has no idea what the hell is happening from the hiding spot :P)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ella gave the man a sunny smile: "More like following the one we already have. We were sent here to track an item our employer is interested in and you might have it. Quite confidential, if you understand what I mean."
Ella is trying to get initial readings of the man - is he open to supposedly shady deal? Would he call his gorillas in? Does he look scared in any way? (a fence might) Perception: 11 Insight: 21
Madik keeps somewhere near the back of the group so she can get a good view of everyone and everything, as things develop. She watches Zodor closely for a couple of things (if these are possible): 1) to see if she recognises the man's race, and 2) to watch closely how he reacts to the questioning...
Skrípi feels incredibly hidden, tucked in the shadows of an alley across from the office building. Unfortunately, the spot only allows for a somewhat decent view through a small window in the office. You can make out the backside of a few of your group through it.
The shifter's eyebrows go up as Ella begins speaking. "You don't look like the type the Brelish hire. You look more like scavengers to me." His eyes narrow in suspicion. "What are you after?" From the tone of his voice, you get that he's suspicious, guarded, but also a little curious. You haven't spooked him yet.
((You can easily tell that's a Shifter. Other than that, you can't seem to get a read on him.))
"We do not?" Ella could take it as a compliment, "may be because our employer is not the one. The item in question is a rare type and not easy to get. It is called "the silver arrow". Word is, you got one."
Ellaly continued watching shifter's reaction hanging on every face-move.
Ella As you carefully watch his features, there is a brief flicker of recognition in his eyes at the mention of a "silver arrow." He shrugs his broad shoulders, shaking his head. "I don't have one, and haven't ever had one. Your information is off. Something else I can help you with today?" You don't see any indication that he's lying, his voice his even, he maintains eye contact, and from what you can tell he doesn't appear nervous at all.
Ivello will step forward towards the counter with a glaring look on his face. "The Arrow of Truth, taken from the Chapel of the Silver Flame. Has it been brought to you or not? We can sit here and play these word games, or my friends and I can send a message to King Boranel's enforcers about your under the table dealings. I'm sure he would just love to find out which royal family Raliac is from."
As the discussion continues, Madik gradually moves back towards the door.
((If it’s swung closed, she moves as close to it as possible, to help block it from opening, should anyone want to come in. If it’s open she’ll stand glancing nonchalantly out, but trying to fill the doorway too))
At the drop of the name Raliac, you see a slight hint of fear in his eyes. He turns around and storms over to the desk, opening the hidden compartment you had found last night. Peering inside the empty space for a moment, he slams it shut and walks back to the counter, leaning against it his palms. There's fury in his eyes now as he stares you down...
((Ivello, make an Intimidation check w/advantage))
You see Zodor's lip curl momentarily, and he tenses, as if he might tear the bars out of the counter and leap out at you. Then he relaxes, and lets out a defeated sigh. "You return what you have taken from me, and swear to never speak of it to anyone. I'll tell you where your arrow is, and how to get it back."
Madik stays inside, by the door, listening to the conversation. She’s impressed by the way Ella and Ivello are working together and grinding this guy down...
Her hand tightens around the handle of her warhammer for a second, when Ivello and Zodor seem to be staring each other down... But she relaxes again, when she hears the broker sigh and give way a little.
There is a brief lip curl again, as the Shifter shifts his gaze to Ella. "I don't buy stolen goods, but I've dealt with your thief before. Whist brought it to me, but I sent her away - like I said, I don't buy stolen goods. Yeah, I deal under the table, but who really gives a shit about cheating the nobles anyway?"
"Whist owes me money though, so I sent her into the Gray to scavenge an abandoned elementary artillery piece. I can tell you where to go. They just let this morning, you should be able to catch them if you leave now."
"But not without returning what you stole." Zodor says, leaning forward on the counter expectantly.
"So, the changeling's name is Whist," matter of factly said Ella, "this is "who", leaving "where" and "how". What makes you think Whist left for Grey without selling the arrow to someone else? And though we certainly have our ways of persuasion, you sounded like you have a special way in mind to get the arrow back."
The shifter barks out a quick laugh. "There's not a soul in this outpost that would touch that Arrow besides Whist. That's too much heat for anyone. If she hasn't ditched it somewhere, she still has it on her."
(When Madik looks at Skrípi, it appears a bit... fuzzy, and staticky.)
"I'll stay back. In case things go south."
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."

@DM...
What would Madik know about the history between Shifters and the The Silver Flame, if anything?
Religion check? (if needed): 8 + guidance: 2
((Obviously she can’t share any info with anyone right now, but wondering if it might influence her own actions somehow. Thanks))

Nothing specific comes to mind for you.
