A quick glance from the door reveals bunk beds to the right of the door, on the side wall, two on the opposite wall. There is one bugbear laying out on each set of bunks; four you see. From behind the open door you here snoring and grunting; the three Rinn heard.
You've at least caught them all by surprise.
TT without light or dark vision, you're at a distinct disadvantage. You didn't get any idea of what was happening since Rinn and Robwin last spoke quietly about keys. When Rinn opens the door, you don't see it happen. You hear and smell it. The oder is the musky sour scent of a den of goblinkin; familiar now from the cavern, the castle and the Stonehill clan tent.
Robwin stands ready, “Up to you..”, he whispers and nods to Wolfsong. He raises his hands, palms forward again, in his ready-to-attack-ready-to-defend pose...

((OOC: if it helps these split-second-decisions, ((I don’t think any of this is meta)) Wolfsong (and a lesser extent Rinn) would know that Robwin is broadly indifferent to the fate of bandits. He can see that everyone can be redeemed, but also that they have been involved in evil schemes. Wolfsong would know that Robwin supports his judgement on ‘the hunt’ (more than many others who are not present). Wolfsong has also seen him cast web, so knows that’s an option for multiple opponents. If he wants to call on that or anything else he’s seen his wizardly friend do, just ‘shout’! Otherwise he knows Robwin has his back whatever happens)).

As one bugbear rolls out of the way, Rinn's arrow connects with the other. Wolfsong and Rinn immediately see, even in this darkness, that it is a significant hit.
Robwin is facing the bugbears on the opposite side of these barracks.

Robwin looks around at how many goblinkin are in the room. ((On his turn)) he takes another deep breath in, and exhales again over the same bugbears he did before, with frost and ice!
((Having a little time to take everything in and survey the room, if there’s any chance he can shuffle or move slightly to include an additional enemy in the icy blast, he will. Otherwise he’ll just target the same ones)).

Rinn puts a finger to his lips to tell the others to be quiet, then holds up three fingers. He quietly opens the door (Sleight of Hand: 17).
Wolfsong nods, gripping his handaxe tighter ready to move at a moments notice.
