(( water is still scarce at the moment though a few dwarfs comment that there should be running water somewhere in here if it isn't spoiled at the source. ))

"Not going to look for it until dawn. And wouldn't mind having your crazy fire happy self along. Though give us more brethren room next time. Hotter than a smithy forge that was."

You can tell the gruff dwarf is tired, anxious, grateful, terrified, and hopeful all in one go. 

"Excellent shots you two. Always preferred the crossbow myself, but didn't do us much good this night.", a dwarf says nodding to Rinn and Yian. 

Rinn beams a smile as he pulls one of his arrows out of a ghoul, holding his breath as he does - remembering his last experience with them.

"My thanks, I just wish I didn't get taken out by that sound... horrible." Yian says also retrieving what arrows she can.

She also takes a moment cupping her hands around her mouth and blowing out and whispering some words in Draconic, those looking closely may see the brief flickering of a strangely red flame which vanishes into nothing as Yian seems somewhat invigorated.

Eline notices Rinn (Pas. Per. 14)

"The gravid ghoul is a separate type of undead. Smarter, Wetter, usually far more grotesque. Not as easily set aflame. These are or were faster. I", she yawns hard, "pardon me... I suspect a nest somewhere in the lower level and now that that", she gestures toward the Banshee corpse, "is down, the ghouls", another yawn, and she shakes herself, "will be less aggressive. Though, I want to see every corpse here put to flame before I sleep." She ends with a long sigh.

TT for her part is praying over each corpse after the living have been managed. A small team is with her to carry the bodies outside when she is done. 

((You're welcome to check any of the bodies Axeholm, Ghoul or Banshee, before they reach it. They deal with the living first. Some where gone before 'spare the dying' could be used. Most of the downed ghouls were burned to ash, but others remain spread on the barricade on the main level and the mezzanine. 

Yian approaches the body of the Banshee, she pulls her long knife from her back and manipulates the body using it so she doesn't touch it directly.

She looks strangely furious at the corpse her eyes piercing and eyebrows furrowed, she absent mindedly rubs the head of Ydri as he follows her to the body.

((I assume an Investigation check to search the body,  however if Perception just add 8!))

Investigation: 15

Silenus sheepishly returns to the area around the barricade. But when he finds the others, his smile comes back.

"Dudes, that banshee, she just gave me the shivers," Silenus says. "It left such a grody feeling inside, I just had to split. I'll try not to do that again."

He settles in to help with the others and drag any 'dead' ghouls and the banshee to a heap outside to start a fire. 

"Kelemvor detests chaos and the undead. There is no shame in falling prey to this abomination, only in letting it exist!", TT exclaims, her eyes glowing green interrupting her prayer of blessing and funeral rites. She pauses and half smiles at Silenus. "Forgive me.", she begins in her usual calm voice, "I'm exhausted and too was quite overwhelmed. Twice the host has fled before Kelemvor's blessing in as many days."

She restarts the shprt ceremony.

((We were interrupted from our long rest but I think did we all quplift for a long rest? Or do we need to still sleep? Also what time is it? Still night? Thanks))

(( The active party,  Robwin, Rinn, Silenus, Yian, all got a long rest as did anyone who can get it in four hours. The dwarfs, basic humans, etc. were interrupted. They effectively got a shot rest. ))

((Can we pick up their long rests past way through or have to start again? Or is that not possible at all and they could get exhaustion? Thanks. Is it still dark/night?))

(( I'd say, TT and about half the camp are going to be exhausted. Between what they witnessed and the cleanup, they keep themselves busy until dawn. For Eline and half the remaining group DC 12 w/ dis. 2. For the others DC 10 w/ dis. 8. 

You ea. tell me how you spent the time between the battle and sunrise. 

Did anyone else check the Banshee body? 

What are your thoughts through the remainder of the evening?

When dawn approaches, you find yourselves gathered together again. (Perhaps you even stayed close by one another.) Those who hadn't finished their meditation or sleep before the Banshee attack found themselves haunted, unable to rest. Many put themselves to work wherever they could, others woke constantly in fits of terror. A roar or scream of absolute rage, fear or desperation were common place through the night as individuals were pulled from their fitful nightmares. 

Silenus would not have searched the Banshee, even averting his eyes as he dragged it towards the fire.

Robwin would search the banshee (and the close vicinity of the battle) after casting detect magic as a ritual. Investigation: 27 

He wasn’t frightened but he was downed by the screaming from the banshee. With low health, Robwin will attempt a short rest (if possible) if there’s time before dawn(?). He will use his healer’s kit to tend to his own wounds before dressing and using prestidigitation to clean himself up, adjusting and readjusting his clothes and hair until he looks presentable again.

If there is time, or during the short rest of he’s able, he would try to start the long find familiar ritual to re-summon Lia the Owl, spending the component-cost from his blue moon egg.

((OOC: This is a lot! The actions are in the order he would attempt them. But let me know how much he gets through!!…)).

During this time, Robwin would come across as a very busy and devoted protection wizard, going through the motions of his trade. He is happy to interact and chat with people but his main focus is on getting things back up straight.

He would at least thank the new party members and is obviously and graciously impressed with their skills, saying, “I am mightily glad you were all around to help… I’m sure things would have turned out much worse had you not arrived!…”.

(( @CarthWarder - Correct. That is why I asked what was going on in Yian's mind, because she wasn't seeing what was in front of them. ))

(( @Grwobert - Yes a short rest before you gather and the other activities, Robwin could easily manage before dawn. Ten minutes rituals and a couple hours meditation are within reason. ))
