Dyne grimaces a bit, "I'm not one for hights, but this", she pulls a hefty spear with a triple barbed end, "is designed for just that." She shows the loop made on the other end. "The barbs and loop are connected as a solid piece and encased in wood and leather. We also have these", she shows you a stone spike with another loop, "to secure to the ground. If the dragon pulls hard enough to take you off the ground and this is set right, it should do itself considerable damage."
He marvels at the workmanship for a bit before looking back up.
”Do you know when the last white dragon sighting was? We’ll probably have to find the gnarly beast in its lair but would be totally better to catch it out trying to catch dinner.”
"From what I know, there hasn't been a sighting since it was here in Phandalin. Maybe we hurt it enough? That lady ranger, Cinnaess, says it's probably laid a clutch of eggs and is guarding them. I guess that means we'll be knee deep in trouble in a few tenday.", Dyne replies with an anxious sigh.
Rinn nods, "Agreed." He points to the harpoon, "We should definitely take this. We can hopefully tie down one end of the rope before sticking the dragon with it to save us going for a joy ride."
Rinn will also grab a length of silken rope, doubling back to the Lionshield if need be.
Rinn shrugs and with a wry smile replies, "Can't really say. I generally don't get hit."
(( OOC - I don't mind. If you want to bring a healer along, that's fine. It would be handy. But more people, more chances for things to go wrong before we can spring a trap *shrug. ))
The good news is that Jasmine and Rinn notice the weather changing, the sudden oncoming squall on the side of the mountain in time to get a bit of shelter together to spare the animals and equipment. The bad news is the extreme weather sets you back a bit.

Silenus watches the avalanche approach as if it was in slow motion. A smile spreads across his face as it it does. With a last second bounding jump up into the air, Silenus leaps up onto a tree branch. He watches the snow and rock for a moment, deciding on its pattern and then hops down onto the top of it, using his hooves to surf across the top of the snow until he gets to where Jasmine and Rinn are safely stationed.
Silenus hefts the net a little and smiles. "Totally mess up a dragon trying to fly," he says. "We should totally take it."
He looks around a bit more.
"Rinn had a gnarly idea about a harpoon too," Silenus says. "Something we could tie a strong rope too."
Then he laughs and smiles. "Can you imagine hanging on to the rope while the dragon takes off. Be like we were flying too."

“Most excellent, dude. We’ll take them.

Silenus's eyes light up more than they already were, "Dragon eggs?"
He looks over at Rinn. "Did you hear that? Dragon eggs."
Silenus daydreams for a moment, with images of riding his very own dragon filling his mind.
"We should go sooner than later."
Rinn nods, "Agreed." He points to the harpoon, "We should definitely take this. We can hopefully tie down one end of the rope before sticking the dragon with it to save us going for a joy ride."

(( 75 gp between you and you have what you need. ))
You can use the ox and cart to get the supplies with you easier to the Icespire Peaks with four harpoons and the net.
You can use hourses (for Rinn and Jasmine) to get to the Icespire Peaks faster but only one harpoon and the net.
(( On both scenarios, Silenus is likely on hoof for most of the trip. ))
What are you doing?
Are you taking anyone other than Jasmine with you?
The more harpoons the better is Silenus's vote, so the ox and cart sound good.
Do we know what class Jasmine is? I can imagine adding a healer to the mix might be worthwhile. Is one of the NPCs Rinn is friends with a cleric?
Yes.
Blaire is a cleric. (Lvl 13)
Jubilance (Jubilee) Endure is an artificer/warlock (lvl 9/4)
Jasmine is a wizard (Lvl 7)
“What do you think Rinn? Any totally cool healers that tou know that might tag along on this adventure?” Silenus asks.
Rinn shrugs and with a wry smile replies, "Can't really say. I generally don't get hit."
(( OOC - I don't mind. If you want to bring a healer along, that's fine. It would be handy. But more people, more chances for things to go wrong before we can spring a trap *shrug. ))
"That's the spirit dude," Silenus says. "We can totally do this on our own."
Silenus is ready to get going with the cart loaded with the harpoons and ropes and anchors along with the net.
With provisions, weapons, and plans, you set out. Silenus on hoof, Rinn on horseback, and Jasmine driving the Oxen drawn wagon.
Roll Survival and perception..

Garr!!! The text roll didn't go through! LOL!
If a failure, tell us how Silenus got caught in a minor avalanche that Rinn and Jasmine narrowly avoided.
Take 6 cold and 4 bludgeoning dmg
If successful, tell us how Silenus came into the safe patch with Jasmine and Rinn. Did he have to dig out a bit?
(Was a Nat 20)

You're all exhausted but you manage to rest and you saved your supplies, cart, and live stock.
You need to dig out a bit in the morning, but the ground is mor solid after the slide.
Roll perception and survival. (With disadvantage due to exhaustion.)
