Blaire and Eli will each help at some point during watch, without their armor on to move a bit quieter around the house. Part of each of their watch, they will spend cleaning and organizing. Eli the kitchen. Blaire the upstairs common room.
Rinn will sneak around the ranch, rounding up the pigs. He jumps from trees and out of haystacks as he lays in wait for the unsuspecting swine to pass by.
TT: You have a bag of 27 rough geodes and five rough gems. The rough gems are worth 70 gp ea.
The geodes value aren't known until they are opened. ((When one is open, we'll find out what it contains with a 1d10 roll. The miner's exchange is probably the nearest place to trade or sell these items.))
Rinn will sneak around the ranch, rounding up the pigs. He jumps from trees and out of haystacks as he lays in wait for the unsuspecting swine to pass by.
Stealth Check Challenge: 16
Rinn: As absolutely chaotic as your behavior appears to Big Al, he has to admit you are quite successful in spooking the pigs back to the main of the farm. He has a temporary pen set up.
Wolfsong will go out into the nearby wilds to hunt small game and gather any wild vegetables in order to salvage the food stocks.
Combination of Wanderer feature from Outlander and Survival: 4
While hunting and gathering is typically your forte, this day seems more winter than spring in bounty. Perhaps the early morning pig rodeo, spooked the wildlife.
Eli will attempt to build the burial pyre using some charcoal, ruined wood from the destroyed barn and smithy and some dried or dead bush and bramble. Then start cremations. Athletics: 19
Robwin’s eyes pop open, and he finds himself in the ranch-hand’s room were he found the scroll. How he found his way there he can’t recall...
He’s alone, aside from Lia the Owl, who has returned, and now flutters over to comfort him as he comes back to full consciousness, perching on his shoulder and nuzzling against his ear and face.
Robwin looks down to the spellbook in his lap and sees the amethyst ink: how it finishes and corrects his latest works there. Seeing the ink there, clear as anything, snaps him back to his senses...
With uncharacteristically clumsy hands, he fumbles to open his pack and retrieve his equipment: his quill and inks, his paper, his wand. He splays all of it out on the floor in front of him. In a desperate rush, he almost knocks over the ink, and his pens and chalk almost go skittering across the floor.
He grabs everything back, instinctually laying it all out as he always does, arranging his papers like he has thousands of times before. But this time he’s not carefully scribing a spell. He’s not careful at all!! He opens his spellbook to the next blank page and begins scribbling chaotically around the page. At one point he almost tears the paper but just carries on.. He breaks a pen nib and just grabs up another in order to continue.
Eventually he stops, finished......... on his knees over his spellbook he looks at the absolute wreck of the page he has made. His breathing is feverish and tears stream down his face as he looks at what he has done. A laugh escapes him, then a sob. He drops his pens and runs his fingers along some of the more distinct shapes almost carved into the page. A face.....
A face drawn from memory before it has a chance to fade. A face drawn out of just childish scribble and botches of ink. But a clear likeness. An image drawn with a level of skill Robwin doesn’t naturally possess. Raw animal marks on the page that somehow unite into features...
His body shaking, he touches his forehead to the page rocking back and forth. Then he sits up and rifles back through the book. Back to a well thumbed page near the front of the book. The page is faded with age. The lines, and ink, are from decades ago.... but the same face....
His Fey Spirit, Lia, screeches a comforting call. Robwin sits a moment trying to put together what had just happened, but it’s as much as he can do to just gradually calm himself, gradually, slowly.
After a while, Robwin’s breathing is back to normal. He bundles his things back into his pack and scroll case. Along with the new gifts that have come into his possession. He shuts his spellbook to contemplate the meaning of all this another time. Unable to marshal his own thoughts just now.
For now, after taking a number of steadying breaths, he quietly returns to where the others are resting, ready to take over the watch for the night, when his turn comes.
Rinn claps his hands together and wipes the mud and muck off them onto his pants as he gets the pigs back into their pen. He then turns his attention to the barn, looking at its disrepair. He scratches his head for a moment before snapping his fingers and running over to grab bits and pieces needed to repair the roof and doors and stalls. He uses his mage hand to help hold things in place while he hammers them in, and jumps to get to the roof in order to patch the holes. While rather restricted on his arcane abilities he does however recall several books he used to read and so makes best use of the things he can remember to aid him in repairing the barn.
After the nights events, Robwin is not quite back to his usual self yet. Lia sticks to him like glue, looking concerned for him.
He sees some of the others setting out around the ranch helping out. It’s the most he can do to mope around the main farm building.
But as the day goes on, he busies himself with cleaning and tidying up (cleaning the house), using prestidigitation for cleaning grime and mage hand to put things away.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Later in the day, when he’s feeling a little better, Robwin sets out to investigate and salvage the smithy. He’s searching through rubble for anything that wasn’t completely destroyed. And using his intellect and judgement to determine what is salvageable...
Ikki will track down and wrangle the horses and cow.

While the animals prove to be a bit skittish, you have no trouble bringing in the cattle and horses. You even find a couple cows with calves that Big Al had written off the previous season.

Arcana Check Challenge: 15
Rinn: Leading this large effort, you successfully manage to salvage everything possible from the burned-out barn. You are able to stabilize and patch most of three walls, a good portion of roof over that and some decent stalls.
Big Al is again, rather impressed by this team.
He will need some serious work and resources to build a new barn, but what's now salvaged will serve well until midwinter and could make due if needed.

Investigation check: 16
Robwin: Sifting carefully through the recent ruin really was key. That and a lot of shoveling ash. You get a functional open smithy.
"Was just this stone fordge and anvil when I first set it up. Its function and we managed to find enough workable tools for us to get things going again.", Big Al commented as the new fire was being stoked.

Maybe it was trying to process the new dream and its radical reach into this life or the commotion of this going about you, but you seemed to be causing as much chaos and mess as you were cleaning up.
Blaire notices and offers, "You may be trying to do too much at once. You eat every whale one bite at a time, you know ", and proceeds to help.
Working together, Robwin and Blaire manage to get the ranch house and its contents cleaned and righted. Not quite 'company is coming over', but it smells and looks clean and no one is going to find a missed spot.

With you leading the effort, it is a complete success. You manage to salvage 85% of the inventory and get the cellar cleaned up properly.
While the animals prove to be a bit skittish, you have no trouble bringing in the cattle and horses. You even find a couple cows with calves that Big Al had written off the previous season.
