Ikki freezes as Robwin's voice fills his head. He drops about four feet before his wings start fluttering again, keeping him from falling any further. He listens, his eyes wide, to the message. Aloud, he responds with a click and, "OK," trying very hard not to look around for the goblins. As the party nears the thicket, he watches them closely, and when the scuffle begins, he divebombs, following whichever player goes right before him.
((Assuming the CON check allows him to)),Robwin will run north, into the thicket, and try to get to within 30ft of a goblin. He holds his wand out in front, trying to get a bead on his target.
He’s going to try something new, and he’s not sure he’ll be able to cast it, or if it will work, or if he’ll be able to control it!!...
As he gets within range, he skids to a halt, points his wand, brings up his other hand and closes it slowly into a fist. As he does so, an enormous hand made of compacted soil and earth rises up out of the ground beside the goblin, mimicking his own hand, and starts closing around the goblin. (He sincerely hopes he can control it so that captures the creature and doesn’t squash it into a paste!!!).
Movement: running north to within 30ft of a goblin.
Action: casting Maximilian’s earthen grasp on goblin. Strength saving throw (DC13) or be restrained and take 9 bludgeoning damage.
Eli, TT, Robwin, You are folks of town and city, well trained and well educated. The sudden abandonment of the plan by Wolfsong was jarring to all but the brutal decimation of the goblins and the resulting gore was shocking to say the least.
TT, Robwin, and Goblins 2, 3, 4, All loose control of their stomachs. You vomit and are Frightened of Wolfsong.
Eli and Goblin1 manage to keep their composure. Eli is left with some serious concerns he "will address later" he tells himself.
The Goblin1 is fully prepared to flee grabbing tightly to Goblin2. Goblin2 and the other two are reaching and catatonic with fear.
Rinn, though none of the party knows it, is such an extremely young Elf, his experience from past lives and this still bleed constantly between each other. He has memories of much worse dealt out to far less "deserving".
Blaire is a northlander and though her clan was mostly seafaring, Wolfsong's actions and the resulting carnage are far too familiar to her.

Ikki is on the ground quickly and while his initial attacks don't strike true, his sudden appearance spurs on the goblins raging terror.
Rushing north away from her own mess and the horrific vision, TT, gets 25 ft off the trail then unleashes a torrent of flame (60 ft range) on Goblin1.
Wolfsong you're next to action. With your 30 ft, it would take your full movement, a dash and an additional movement to get you to the remaining Goblins and Ikki. What do you do?

Rinn jumps off the cart and moves north and west, trying to find somewhere to hide north of the trail (Bonus Action: Hide; Stealth: 13). He then draws his bowstring, aiming for the goblin trying to make an escape.

Wolfsong lets out a bestial roar before turning his attention to the goblins to the north. Wolfsong will then move his full 30ft as he does so he will draw a javelin from his back and at the end of his move will throw the javelin at Goblin1.

As Wolfsong's two javelin stick as pincushion needles from the soil just north of the quartet, Rinn's shot takes Goblin4, the arrow flying true peirces through the goblin, puncturing lung and heart. The goblin is literally dead standing.
Goblin3 faints.
Goblin1, her face and chest leathers burned, put herself between the party and the other two goblins, a rusty dagger in one hand and a random branch in the other.
Eli and Blaire rush up to TT, ensure she's functional then rush to the goblins and Ikki.
"HOLD! HOLD!", Eli roars as best he can. "We want you alive! Stand down!"
Rinn runs up to the disarmed goblin and the held goblin. "Well, hello there sneaky little ones. Sorry about your friends," the elf nods to the fallen ones, "But we just want to talk, is all." He smiles at the goblin, trying to calm it.

On the upside, depending on how your PC deals with the experience, it could lead your PC to a better or worse standing. Intervention of "others" not withstanding. For a PC the condition is fairly specific and situational. ))
Rinn: You see Goblin1's expression change from rage to terror, matched by Goblin2, looking at you from behind Goblin1's small tattered dark clock crouched and kneeling behind Goblin1. Goblin1 says, in quite, jagged, broken common, "Children of Tharizdun?"
