Holding his hand up in the crushing shape of the Earthen Grasp, and concentrating on the spell (until it ends), Robwin will keep a wary distance from Wolfsong, while approaching the rest of the group and the goblins.
Joining the discussions a few seconds late, he will listen in: ready to chip in if needed ((with a charisma of -1 he knows interrogation isn’t necessarily his area of expertise)).
TT will be moving in to the group seeing that the fighting would be paused, at least for the moment. Still reeling from what Wolfsong did she will be trying to stay as far from him as she could for now.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ikki's history and religion are equally mundane (+0): 17
Ikki stands, still slightly hunched, but no longer in a threatening manner. He puts the butt of his spear in the dirt with the pointy end toward the sky. He turns his head to blink at the goblin with one red-brown eyes. He is ready, however, to defend himself or his comrades should the gobbos become violent.
Blaire, not being intellectual by any means, though thoroughly valuing intelligence and learning, is usually very perceptive and being "chosen" so young has a lifetime of religious information to draw from.
"We are no followers or disciples of the chained oblivion. We're not mad."
"We had reports of goblins attacking travelers."
"Here we are with a horse and small cart (( - someone jumped from a cart :o) - )) when we find a pack of goblins following us in the shadows and shrubs."
"My cousin may have acted harshly. Would you do any different?"
(OOC - that was Rinn jumping from the cart. Did we not have a cart of things for Barthen? Or did I read that wrong?)
Rinn shakes his head. "No, just travelers. And the townsfolk have been talking about some goblins that attacked a group of travelers a little time ago. We're sorry if it wasn't you, but like my friend said, we were worried you would attack given everything happening. What's your name?"
Worried that Wolfsong might go full-beast on these goblins too, if they don’t get the information they need soon, Robwin chips in with: “A wagon, oxen-drawn, on the road heading into Phandalin... it was ambushed by goblins... and the wagon and people were taken. Where is it now??!”.
(( OOC: No worries! The party's cart is back a Barthen's provisions and while I sent the Party from the Ranch with a pack laddened horse, I love the switch of a horse and cart. Improv! ))
"No! If I saw a PACK", the goblin spits out the word, "of pale skins near strong shadow, I make follow. Be sure king and shadow safe."
"Ground hand is killing boy. You release? No more fight.", she asks anxiously
"Who attack pale skins? Where?", Goblin2 asks still cowering under the goblin female.
Robwin releases the tension in his left wrist and hand, and drops concentration on the earthen structure: gently releasing the fainting goblin in the process. The soil and earth falls apart slowly and crumbles to the ground in a small heap under the injured green-skin.
“Hmmm... the wagon... it was on the road into Phandalin... Does anyone remember exactly where?...” ((would Robwin recall? Were we told exactly? Grwobert’s recollection is sketchy from so long ago! eek)).
(( OOC: Rinn & Robwin (Int 16) would both recall the wagon attack was reported on the road between Neverwinter and Phandalin on the Triboar Trail. At least a day and a half west of the crossroads. Of course, that ambush was at least five days ago now. ))
Blaire pulls her one extra shirt out of her pack and hands it to the lead female.
She looks at it, looks at Blaire, then takes it, strips off her open ruined leathers, tosses on the shirt which hangs over her trousers like a dress, ties her makeshift weapon belt around the shirt than puts her dark clock on again.
The second goblin, another female, pulls the third goblin, unconscious and disheveled into her lap. "If goblinkin, tell king. King stop trouble. Not let pale skin attack castle. King strong."
As there seems to be no further conflict Wolfsong lets his rage die down before going to the goblins he killed and taking an ear from each; left from one, right from the other; followed by a quick prayer of acknowledgement, "Though the hunt was turned against you, may you find solace in the Wilds."
Wolfsong then moves to meet Eli at the cart, "What did the goblins have to say? Did we make it clear enough that we would be no easy prey? Or will there be more trouble for us in the coming days?"
Thinking hard about what he was told, Robwin tells the goblins, “It was about five days ago, or so... The wagon attack was on the road between Neverwinter and Phandalin on the... what did they say?... the ‘Triboar Trail’!“, he recalls... “..at least a day and a half west of the crossroads......”.
He thinks, then asks, “Whose territory is that road??.. Who would be ambushing people there?... ...And where would they take the stuff they looted there back to?”.
Eli pulls off his helmet and glares at Wolfsong. "I thought we were going to set up camp. Give them a chance to prove their intent?!", he sighs heavily. "Frankly, it seems we waylaid a troup of messengers from some local goblinkin chief. I don't know if we will get more information from these three."
"We should probably try. We also need to get these supplies to Barthen. Can you make two days travel to Phandalin without tearing these three apart?" (Eli hasn't noticed the ears.)
"What castle? Have you had to move like many of the other people around here?" Rinn asks the two goblins, "The dragon has made a lot of trouble. If your king was getting you to move to somewhere safer from the dragon, then he seems very wise. We can make sure you're safe and help you to your castle and king?"
(( Roll straight advantage because your friends are helping you, you aren't finishing off these three and you're not being demeaning and disadvantage having decimated three of their members, one of them you personally, and this leader clearly believes you're crazy. ))

What's happening with Rinn, TT, Robwin and Ikki while Eli is talking with Wolfsong?
Ikki is staying silent, but listening and watching intently.
