(OOC - Rinn would have checked in on them, but I don't think he would have talked too much of anything that would drive story forward or offer any further insight. Perhaps offered some money to help with caretaking sick or injured etc.)
(( Okay... you two set out... it's a two or three day (67 miles or 107.8 Km) journey on foot (24 miles or 38.6 Km per day) ... a day or two by horse (42 miles or 67.6 Km per day)... before you leave subtract 1d10+10 gold for food, drink, etc. ... if you take the horses, subtract 5 silver for horse feed and supplies, for a bit of riding lessons subtract an additional 5 silver (gives you a 1d6+3 bonus to your animal handling with the horses three times) ))
While I think the sight of a satyr on a horse would be pretty amusing, Silenus is somewhat opposed to one hooved creature riding another hooved creature and will opt to walk. If Rinn wanted a horse, but didn't quite go full speed, they could still make up some time (Rinn's speed is 30', a horse is at 60' and Silenus is half way in between at 45' - I know that's speed during initiative but would think there would be some carry over to travel speed - maybe they'd cover 33 miles a day instead of 24 or 42?). But if Rinn wants to walk, Silenus just adapts his speed to Rinn's.
Food/Drink costs: 18
Perception: 5
Silenus d100: 37 (nothing ominous about one character needing to roll)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Food & drink costs: 14 g
Horse food and riding: 10s
Rinn's Perception check: 18
(OOC - just double checking we were still Lvl 5? I haven't missed something somewhere have I?)
Rinn is not an overly adept rider, so would concentrating most of his energy into staying on the horse. Occasionally he might engage in some idle chat to while away some time, but nothing deep or prying, just general chat about what Silenus has done prior to being here etc. Though he would also be quite amused with the sight of a satyr on a horse.
Before the barbarian and the rogue head off looking for dragons and all of the treasure that might come with that, Silenus would have at least told the others where they were headed in case any wrap up their personal matters and decide to come looking for them.

(( The first day of the trip is rather pleasant. You see many farmers in their fields the season is going well for them. There are many now working with the various Goblinkin clans in the region to improve their farmsteads. ))
"It is strange seeing the locals inviting goblins to help them on their farms," Rinn muses, "But I suppose even goblins need food and shelter. And with dragons about, that can't be helping them find safe housing."
Silenus smiles and waves at every person they pass along the way.
"Those little goblin dudes seem a lot like everyone else," Silenus muses. "Some will be totally uncool and stab you in the back and, like, take everything you got, but most are just trying to live happy little lives."
As they travel on, another thought comes to Silenus.
"Oh, wait. What if the dragon is super chill?" Silenus asks. "Maybe we could go for a ride. Remind me to ask that first."
As daylight fades, you make camp, care for the house, etc. ... are you in the trees? ... you really don't need a fire - warm weather - unless you want want one. There's a brook if you want to try some fishing or foraging (survival).
Silenus considers not starting a fire because of the weather but when he sees the brook, he decides that a warm dinner sounds good and goes off to try his hand at catching either some fish or an animal coming down to the brook for a drink.
Perception: 12
Survival: 4

Looks like Silenus very much lived it up and had plenty to drink while in town. Lives up to who he is.
(( The proposal of Silenus walking w/ Rinn on horseback looks good to me. ))
(( Silenus also had a few warm baths, some company, got his armaments cleaned, etc. ))
