Nodding to Jon he offers the two a drink of ale from his supply, not really sure if he trusts the two yet with knowledge of the alchemy jug.

“It’s a few days old and is not as good as it was when I procured it back in Port Nyanzaru, but it’s better than nothing. “

“It sounds like we have somewhat of a common goal then in a visit to the ziggurat.  Even if we do not find the Soul Monger there per se, maybe this guardian can pass on some knowledge to its whereabouts. “

Felix agreeing with Burnella pats her on the back "I agree Burnella but let's at least move away from the ape corpses and then rest." 

"I am with you. Let's find a good hiding/resting spot, then we can recover a bit." Then she gestures towards the human and the reptilian man. "And maybe you can tell us a little more about yourselves and your adventures!"

Once we arrive to the cavern Felix will take out the alchemy jug (still active for ale) and sets it to the side.

"Well if we still have 2 or 3 more days I saw we take a long rest and continue in the morning. I'll leave the Jug out if you guys want some ale. I'll be back I want to make sure the surroundings are secure."

Felix would like to spend some time in the jungle to look for components that cause paralysis.

Menga Leaves
The dried leaves of a menga bush can be ground, dissolved in a liquid, heated, and ingested. A creature that ingests 1 ounce of menga leaves in this fashion regains 1 hit point. A creature that ingests more than 5 ounces of menga leaves in a 24-hour period gains no additional benefit and must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or fall unconscious for 1 hour. The unconscious creature awakens if it takes at least 5 damage on one turn.

A healthy menga bush usually has 2d6 ounces of leaves. Once picked, the leaves require 1 day to dry out before they can confer any benefit.

Coming back in an hour Felix has in hand has two rabbits. "I found these on the way back. I can't cook so..." Felix begins to look at Burnella and Musharib holding up the rabbits so they can cook them. Once they take the rabbits, Felix will spread out Menga leaves so they can dry.

Irommek found that the heat of the jungle, the excitement from the previous battle and now the uncorked alchemy jug had produced quite the story telling tonic.  While flailing his arms and crawling around on the ground in an effort to act out their last battle with the Petrafolk, Irommek chronicled the fortitude and strength of the dwarves, the raw power of the barbarians, the earth-shattering magic of their master sorcerer, the cunning and deadly precision of the rogue and the healing and divine smiting power of the cleric.

Impressed with the tale that he had so finely crafted, he offered up another drink and asked Jon and Dragonbait to recount some of their adventures in the jungle while they rested.

“Oh rabbits!  Well done!  Let’s have a quick brunch of these and hear some of the exploits from our new companions.”

Jon: " There isn't much to say, truth be told. I came to Chult when I was old enough to take care of myself but young and foolish enough to think I could manage great responsibilities. Whichever the case, I always as an explorer. Went far and wide in this jungle. A few years back, I met Dragonbait in Port Nyanzaru..."

A smell of honeysuckle pervades the cavern.

"I do not know much his personal history, " Jon continues with a smile. " We decided to travel together to find this guardian, Saja N’baza, in the hope it has the answer I seek. What about you? Where are you from? Why are you searching this 'Soulmonger' here?"

The smell changes to brimstone.

 Felix listening to Jon smells the brimstone and thinks to himself "Sulfur, huh". Felix will speak to Jon telling him his story. "I am Felix, Felix Windfall. I come from Waterdeep. I was in prison when the guards told me that some one had paid to transfer me to a new prison. So they shipped me off in a boat and I ended up in Chult. As for the second question, we were told by a witch that the ziggurat was the place. But what about you? What does the ziggurat's guardian have that's important?"

Listening to Irommek's story telling Gertrude is transferred back into her past. She remembers the story telling around the fireplace when she was still with her tribe. She feels a sadness rise inside her. She shakes it off. These are her friends now, her new 'tribe'. She'll give anything to protect them. 

Some time passes.

Gertrude is tired. How come they are still so clueless. They have been in the jungle for two dozen days. They should know more by now... She holds her head to the side. "Jon, hello. My name is Gertrude. You are a good fighter. And you seem to know this jungle very well. Is there a quicker way to travel? The jungle is costing us a lot of time. Also, your weapons seem specifically strong against the undead creatures. What is the secret?"

Felix will laugh suddently "Hahaha I guess everyone's got there own secrets. Its not like your being chased or anything, right? Hahaha" Felix takes a big gulp from the jug and offers to pout Jon and Dragonbait another glass. "I must apologize, I usually have better drinks than ale, had to use the last of my rum on some critters awhile back!"

Felix always drinks alcohol as far as the party has seen but he's never been thos drunk.

[Felix is actively playing the part as he continues to drink ale.]

"Oh, man this ale must have gotten to me. It really is different than liquor! What say you Jon are you a liquor or ale kind of guy?"

Performance: 22

The scent is now turning in a ham-like smell.

" Could you please stop yelling?" Jon says, refusing either ale or liquor, " You did see the creatures wandering this jungle... "

"Ooh, you're right my bad haha (hic)." Felix placing his hand over his mouth. Felix is wearing the mask but its slight tilted up so he can drink the jug.

"Murshiba is that rabit read yet, I am starving,oh that's your friend that is makig me hunry with his smelly ham scent hahaha. I like you Jon and Dragonbait after we finih with the zoggort we should head back to the port together forpr driks"

Turning to his companons "How much- I mean how many days do we have left for this expidition?We got enough supplies to last us to the zoggort and the airshit? Dont want be stuck here worh our supplis. I mean stuck here without supplies."

While cooking, Musharib asks the party: " Ehmmm, do you have rope and gag for the drunk dude? "
