Oniss begins to feel overwhelmed as the enter the hall.  He whispers to the group near him;

"I fear once we start fighting these Yuan-ti we shall never stop until one of our groups is erased..."

Dragonbait, instead of drawing his big sword, steps forward and tries to impede the Yuan-ti Broodguard in front of him to pull out the grate.

The pit on the left wall stays put on the top edge of the pit!

Two other Broodguards (2 and 3 ) pull out the grates from the pits (middle and right ones), while the last Broodguad (4) gets ready to bite someone.

• Brunella (71/71)

Brunella lets out a howl of rage, and fearlessly jumps over the grate. She lands on the Broodguard opposite her, shoving with all her might (23). If she hits the Broodguard successfully, she swings at the guard with an overhead sword cut.

To Hit: 1d20 (10) + 7 = 17 Damage: 2d6 (1, 3) + 4 [slashing] + 2 [slashing] = 10

Musharib whistles a chant, which, weirdly enough, seems more like a song sang by a frog: " Cracciti, criccti... " Then, he simply squats down and jumps (20 ahead) like a frog.

From behind a door and many more humanoids, Bag of Nails shot a single, well-placed arrow at the seeming boss.

Inete knows how deceitful and dangerous Yuan-ti are. Poison runs through their veins. Chanting to the god Ubtao, the young priestess cast a protection from poison upon Gertrude.

Artus steads forward quickly, putting his weight on the still closed grate. Then, he puts his magical dagger to use.

Looking down the grates, Irommek decides against the jump...for now.  Nodding at Kurma's advice, Irommek whispered a prayer to Valkauna and felt the air vibrate as a bell sounded in the hall and condensed around a Broodguard that might run for help.  

OOC: Casting Toll the Dead on Yuan-Yi 2.  WIS save of 13 or take 1d12 necrotic damage.

Felix will move back by 10ft to get a better shot at Yuanti in front of Burnella.

Gertrude follows Brunella in a blinding rage. "Wait up, sister, I will help you!" She also jumps over the pit and shoves the yuan-ti in front of her (#3). shove-attack: 25

If successful, Gertrude will then bring her greataxe down on the head of the same yuan-ti:

to hit: 19 for damage 10 [in case the yuan-ti is prone, here's the second attack roll: 22 well, never mind. just take the first one ;)]

then she punches both her fists high in the air and lets out a howl. "Come on, you snakes, what are you made of?" 

The snake-headed Yuan-ti yells at the corridor behind him "Enemiesssss!", then draws his scimitar and attacks the crazy dwarf in front of him.
