Irommek jumps in the air, clearing at least 6 inches and tapping his heals together in mid flight after seeing the Gargoyle plunge down the shaft.
"Yeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh!"
Turning to the Gargoyle attacking Dragonbait and Inete, Irommek pulls deep at his divine magic, "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Let's reduce those claws to dirt!"
After the prayer, Irommek let's loose a bolt from his heavy crossbow and watches as the arrow impacts and creates a sound like a gong on impact.

The light reveals that the shaft is about 15 feet tall and is placed in a seeming ceiling of yet another room. The torch falls 15 feet more to reach the floor of the room, which seems to be covered by rotten plants. The plants are still very humid and they don't catch fire.
As the last Gargoyle flies away, Irommek is afraid to relax but finally lets his shoulders slump and exhales loudly. As Gertrude looks at the shaft, he makes his way over to Felix's remains. Bending down he gathers up Felix's personal valuables, whispers another silent prayer to Valkauna and then stands up wiping tears from his eyes.
"Must be some dust in the air from all those hits against those stone beasts..."
Looking up the stairs he adds, "We really should get the decanter back on the 3rd level, but it's not wise to split up again. If we go back upstairs I'll get it. I'm not really sure where we can go from this level, but I'm not keen on waiting in this room too long."
"Agree. we need to find a place to rest. I am not sure about the one with the coffin is. A safer place could the large corridor at the entrance on the tomb."
Gertrude sees the torch fall and slowly extinguish in the midst of the wet plants. She hears Irommek walk up to the first balcony, and an iron grip tightens her heart.
They lost Felix, he was growing close to her heart. How could that have happened? She didn't fight hard enough. She didn't stay close enough. Her blood was not enough to protect him.
Feeling weak in the knees and wary of their new challenge inside this deadly tomb, she slowly follows Irommek up the stairs. She whispers to him: "Should we bury him? Find a place to lay his remains to rest? We owe it to Felix." With a nod Gertrude acknowledges Irommek taking all of Felix's belongings. "May these items serve you better than they did Felix."
She also looks to Kurma: "I don't know where we can hide here. This place is a death trap. I like the room with the wine."Gertrude, who never much liked alcohol, just lying down in a sea of wine sounds like a great plan in this very moment.
"That could be a good place to defend. We could catch our breath and I could maybe try to commune with the dead body we found. If its soul can communicate, it could help us."
A woman with Raven black hair stands, she has thick glasses with light purple eyes and a slight tan. Her attire consists of a breastplate and a leather coat. He pack filled with papers and books and a shield on her back.
