"Very well, the scepter"... Kurma looks in the sarcophagus to see if he can spot the item.
Then, Kurma have a quick glance over his companion and sees Irommek silently showing the Black Opal Crown and pointing at it. "My Queen, we also found this Black Opal Crown. Does this crown has magical properties or is a key for something in this Tomb ?"
"I heard legends about the Black Opal Crown. It was once worn by the archmage Sadamor of Netheril. Legend speaks of how Sadamor saw the depths of humanity's evil reflected in the opal of his crown. Heartbroken, he created a doomsday device - a sphere of annihilation - to swallow the world but was consumed by his own creation. Another rumour has it that the yuan-ti nightmare speakers believe that the Black Opal Crown can awaken Dendar the Night Serpent."
Kurma nods and asks his last question: « Thank you my queen, a last question. Would you like us to do something with you body? Maybe being buried in this abominable tomb is not what you had in mind. »
Kurma walks back to the throne, keeping an eye out on the painters and takes the sceptre. Back to the sarcophagus, he carefully swaps the sceptre of the Queen with the one from the throne. Squinting his eyes, he gets ready for a possible trap.
Nothing happens. The Queen is silent now again., and the party has a sceptre whose purpose is unclear. Only the chained sun on the ceiling and the jewellery box on the floor remain untouched in the secret room.
"hummmm, now that I think of it, I should have ask how this sceptre is going to be useful..."
OOC: I didn't notice there was a jewel box !!!!
It appears that when Gertrude throw the lid away from the sarcophagus, the bejewelled cockroach on top of it opened up. The cockroach box seems quite valuable itself, but it contained a small jade key shaped like a crocodile and a necklace of beads.
"Look at that ! Let me cast identify on it, it seems magical to me" Kurma sits down to perform his ritual and, holding his pearl, focuses on the object to find out what exactly this is.
Hearing about the history of the opal crown, Irommek looks into the dark jewel and his love of opals fades just a touch. Shrugging, he stows the crown and smiles at Kurma.
"Well done! That's a fine looking necklace. I wonder what the key unlocks? Ach, wait. Maybe I don't want to know what trouble that will unlock for us!"
Peeking around the corner and down the stairs, Irommek says, "I'm as rested as I'm going to be. Ready to move on when everyone else is."
Kurma hold the sceptre that might be important for the next steps of the journey and calls out his companion. "Very well. Is everybody healthy? Let's continue our search. Maybe let's walk back to the stairs"
Gertrude looks at Kurma. "I can take the necklace." Somehow, the red beads on the light coloured necklace looks like pearls of blood on snow to her. It reminded her of Gunja, it reminded her of the night in the snow with the broken leg.
If no one else claims use for the necklace, Gertrude will put it on, for everyone to see.
As soon as Gertrude puts it on, the beads crack all at once!
BOOM!
The consequent explosion is terrible, resonating on the entire level.
Fire Damage: 53, Gertrude takes the entire damage with no save. Kurma, Irommek, Isabella, Brunella and Dragonbait must roll a Dexterity saving throw against a DC of 15 to halve the damage. Advantage applies because of Dragonbait's aura.

It seems the item is a necklace of fireballs. It is quite shiny.
