Brunella, eyes wide at the golden piles of treasure, looks around to see if there are any weapons, jewelry of note, items, or anything other than coins.

There seems to be only gold for the most part. Some jewellery, but no peculiar item, no weapon.

Inete: " Based on what we have learned on the Old Omuan, this writing can be translated in: 'Whoever among you is the richest, bring me your gifts'. Not sure about it, but likely the divination checks the fulfilment of the request, whatever that is."

Dragonbait emanates a smell of brimstone, his face the representation of confusion.

Putting on his sad mask "It's not real..." He just set down what ever he grabbed and leaves "Well I'm the poorest I'll be out." He mumbles to himself how he's tired of this crap and waits outside with the dino.

"Richest?" Brunella shrugs. "We have little of material wealth. But maybe it is asking about richness of spirit or character? Otherwise, there is the magic jug, and a few other items we have found."

"Interesting... Does that mean we need to leave some gold here as well... We are getting poorer and poorer in this quest."

Inete:" Kurma, you look tired. Let me help you..."

While Inete and Kurma try to figure out the writing, Gertrude stands behind them wondering about the carving of the fighting creatures, the closed door, the fake treasure and what it all means. (History Check) 20

Gertrude might not be a consumed historian, but she knows how puzzles work. She decipher the story of the trickster god Nangnang.

- At noon, a brave kamadan hopped down from her rock. She saw the evil in the Omuans’ hearts and decided to lance it like a troublesome boil. The kamadan fashioned a holy spear, but she left it by the riverbank and a crafty grung stole it. In her rage, Shagambi the kamadan forgot all about the Omuans and chased Nangnang the grung forever across the sky. -

Nangnang seems to be just to care about shiny things. The treasure in the shrine, although fake, is shiny.

“Shiny things you say. Let’s see what I have. Here...”

Kurma is dropping 10gp and the orb of time in front on the stone doors.

For a moment, the only sound in the shrine is the echo of the coins falling on the stone floor.

Nothing else happens.

Gertrude keeps staring. She hears Kurma's coins clink on the floor. But nothing happens. 

Then she starts bringing some of the fake gold and pile it on top of the frog-creature that is engraved in the floor. Expectantly she looks at the door.

The doors swing open as soon as Gertrude approves with the fake gold.

In the middle of this dusty room, a stone cube rests on a pedestal carved and painted to resemble a squat, humanoid frog.

Kurma detects the usual abjuration magic of the puzzle cube.

"Well done Gertrude !". Kurma picks up his gold and the orb and have a peak inside the room.
He scans the area and confirms he can sense only magic fro the cube, no other magical mechanism. " Felix, I let you pick up the cube"

Felix sulks back and checks for traps.

If there is nothing trapped he will grab it.

The puzzle cube is safe to be taken.
