This time, Kurma wants a bit of action and is swinging his Mace at the grappled thorny: 22 damage 8

Felix will attack thorny with his rapier and torch.

Finally, the last plant-creature falls. Dead. And stays dead.

Brunella, panting,  lowers her torch. That was a grueling fight. She sits down on a log, catching her breath and taking large gulps of air. She then grabs the magic jug and takes long draughts of ale, then passes it to others.

"Puuuuh, that was a much longer fight than I thought it would be."

Gertrude sits down next to Brunella. 

"Hei, girl, let me try this stuff. I am so thirsty, I could empty a river!"

Then she gulps down a few big sips. 

"UUUaaaghhh, that tastes rancid. I don't know why you folk all like it!" 

After a few minutes she gets up to relieve herself behind a bush. She has a slight tilt to her walk....

On the way back she walks past the torched heaps of greens that are lying between the bushes and checks with her clouded mind if there is any treasure/loot to find: 12

Each vegepgymy has a sling, with a total of 8 ammunition. However, one of them has a weird pot, secured in a rudimental satchel. The pot has some runes carved on it.

Gertrude giggles when she returns to the others... "Look what I found!!! A weird pot with stuff written on it!! hihihihi"

Kurma mediate a few second and hold his Amulet of Oghma then look for the the strange runes.

No berries nor beetles around here. It is midmorning and all is quiet...for now.

Felix thinking about how to cover more ground will stay a head of the group (90ft) and If he sees any danger he will sneak back tell the others to avoid them.

Gertrude takes the pot back from Kurma and studies it, while the others clean their weapons and tend to the wounded. 

Gertrude keeps the pot her hands for the entire rest. She finds out that it is a Pot of Awakening.

Short rest: Hunter 1 ---> 2; Hunter 2 ---> 5

Kurma is looking over over Gertrude shoulders. "This is extraordinary! You can grow a sentient tree ! I'm happy to help you if you want."

OOC LOL ahahhaha yes. The only thing is that it takes a month to grow, but yes you will have a Groot.
