Afamrail closes the door quietly and goes to the others.
"There are eight bugbears in the next room. And from what these two have said, "he says, gesturing at the Orcs, "we have to go through here to get to the rebel Orcs."
”it would appear we could ignore this room of bugbears for now and head to the rebel enclave, or we could clean them out now and remove one more threat at our back first” Afamrail says to the others.
"Let's see the orcs. If I take many more hits I may need a bit of a rest, but I'll be okay for now." Raine follows Afamrail and Tana to the barricade, waving the orcs and giants along behind her.
Wallish says, "I'll do it!" He says something in orc:
Oddormill
You see the barricade gets tarred town and emerges two orc guards, standing infront of a three way split path. They seem happy at the two orcs but, look worried and take a few stapss back when they see the adventurers.
Raine steps forward first, holding her hands up in a gesture of peace. In Orc, she says to the guards, "We mean you no harm. My name is Raine, and these are my companions Afamrail and Tana. We met your friends and learned that we share a goal of defeating the giants above. If we work together, we would have a better chance of success."
Tana doesn't speak Orc, but he sympathizes with the chains that kept them enslaved. He constantly looks around, keeping his hands on his Greataxe, waiting for any Giant or Bugbear to pop around the corner.
One of the guards says, "We will take you to boss." The orcs lead you down the right passage, into an open cavern filled with orcs, scattered with axes, daggers and other weapons. The two orc guards lead to a bigger orc. It says, "What are those people doing here." A guard responds "Darthorm, they say they want to help!"
"Raine," Afamrail starts. "They may be more receptive if they hear this in their own language. Can you try to convince them that we are here to stop the giants but that we need their help? What will it take to get them to come out from behind their barricade?"

Afamrail opens the door enough to see what's on the other side.
You open the door and find eight more bugbears. Roll for stealth

None of the bugbears see you.
Afamrail closes the door quietly and goes to the others.
"There are eight bugbears in the next room. And from what these two have said, "he says, gesturing at the Orcs, "we have to go through here to get to the rebel Orcs."
He looks at Tana and Raine for a moment.
"Does anyone need to rest before we go in?"
(Did I say something wrong? There is a barricade down the other hall, thats how you gets to the orc rebels
(Probably my misread)
”it would appear we could ignore this room of bugbears for now and head to the rebel enclave, or we could clean them out now and remove one more threat at our back first” Afamrail says to the others.
Tana shrugs. "A couple more bugbears shouldn't hurt, but I'll leave that up to you."
Is there any furniture Tana can drag up to attempt to barricade the door? Ideally, this would prevent the bugbears from entering the hallway.
"Let us make contact with the orcs first then," Afamrail says. "The more chaos we can stir up the better for us, I think."
He turns to Raine to see if she's ready to move on. If so, he will move down the hall to the barricade, examining it for anyway through.
"Let's see the orcs. If I take many more hits I may need a bit of a rest, but I'll be okay for now." Raine follows Afamrail and Tana to the barricade, waving the orcs and giants along behind her.
(What is the barricade made of?)
Iris - Tiefling Cleric | Cassandra - Elf Warlock | Solace - Tiefling Monk | Tempest - Hexblood Monk | Lex - Fire Genasi Barbarian
Lilyn - Triton Ranger | Candor - Changeling Bard | Echo - Changeling Warlock/Bard | Rowan - Fairy Wizard
Dirt, some scraps of metal, and a lot of chairs and furniture.
Afamrail turns back to Raine and the orcs.
"Do we just move it aside? Is there a password? Knock?" he asks.
He keeps an eye on the passage way behind them in case any bugbears or giants come into view.
"It seems like we might just have to move it. I'm sure if all of us helped it wouldn't be too difficult."
Raine translates Afamrail's question to the orcs if needed.

Afamrail hangs back and continues to keep watch for giants or bugbears behind them and lets Raine handle negotiations with the orcs.
