Raine shrugs. "Might as well. It's a bit suspicious that we haven't seen any giants other than the two at the front, though. You'd think this place would be a bit more populated. Not that I'm complaining, of course."
Tana nods his head in agreement. “There is no need for utmost stealth when we are opening doors to locations. However, the amount of doors and little amount of giants is, indeed, rather suspicious - if traps were to exist, I would appreciate if someone more adept in spotting them were to scout the doors. Even then, if we were heading to an ambush, it would be best to have the more durable of us in between the obstacles and the rest of the group.”
(If nobody searches for traps or other suspicious signs, Tana will slowly begin opening the next door in the hallway.)
Aamrail suspects that they won’t find any traps on these doors. Whomever is organizing these hill giants might be able to make the traps, but it is highly unlikely the hill giants themselves would remember which doors were trapped and which were not.
However, Tana has a point. Better to be thorough. The giants could all be lying drunk and asleep somewhere or this could be a trap.
This is a sleeping room with much more furnished than the last room, with several beds with wool covers. Two torches stand on the side of the wall, one is unlit though.
”These empty rooms with furniture may become useful if we need to create a diversion. Setting all of this on fire should be easy work. I believe hill giants would react much like any other animal exposed to smoke and flames.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Afamrail looks at the others. “Are they all out raiding?”
At first empty rooms made him feel like they would make it through this better than he feared. They all would make it. But now the emptiness made him concerned they would eventually come across the whole giant nest in one place and have to fight to the death just to escape.
With the others he does a quick search of the room.
"Perhaps. That would certainly make our job easier. Or, they could all be gathered in one or two locations. I pray that it's the former, but suspect the latter."
As they search the rooms, Raine tasks herself with erasing any trace of their presence - returning items to their proper locations, closing doors, and the like. She also watches behind them for any giants attempting to sneak up on them.

Afamrail searches the other doors for traps.

This room has stools and benches with small sheets of wool coated on all of them.. A chest stands in the corner of the room.
(OOC Safe to say Afamrail found no traps when he looked for them?)
(OOC DIdn't see that, but yes)
Afamrail enters the room that Tana opened the door too. He investigates the chest for any traps.
(Investigation: 27 )
Raine follows him in and searches the rest of the room for any treasure or tools that could come in handy.

You couldn't find any traps on the chest. Any there seems to be no other treasure.
Afamrail opens the chest.
Inside the box is many severed dwarf and elf ears, one still with an earring on.
Afamrail cringes at what is in the chest. Bloody giants.
”Next room?”
Afamrail heads back into the hallway and opens the next door.

He heads to the third door and opens it.

Tana winces at the carnage in the room with the first chest. Giants could be brutal.
He shuffles to follow the rest of the group, keeping an eye out for any signs of movement that could indicate their presence was known.
This place has some boxes and benches, along with other objects strewn about the floor.

The room is bare bones, with nothing that was hiding from view.
