Chantrea pulls herself up leaning forward on her stomach stretching her feet out into nooks to get some support. it is not too uncomfortable so she carefully brings her bow around her head and readies it by holding it sideways in front of her.
Lowblo's bolt sails toward the goblin. . he slightly moves his head backward to dodge the blow and the arrow passes through the roof of his open mouth and the tip can be seen slightly protruding from top of his head. He stands for a second and then slides quietly into a heap.
Will update map tomorrow (getting scavenge hunt ready :) Feel free to pick a next move etc. or wait for the map update.
Ruvaar and Chantrea see the Bugbear and goblin head off further to the north. The goblin, occasionally popping into view, seems rather nervous about whatever is happening outside of your view. (you could get a shot in with the bow but he would have cover).
Daeris, Lowblo and Nelly are now all up on the bridge, Daeris looks to Lowblo and Nelly gesturing forward with her hand and starting to very slowly move forward drawing her crossbow and readying a bolt.
The sporadic battle has Nelly licking her lips and ready for action. She grips her axe tighter, relishing the feel of the sturdy old wood against her calloused hands. It's not right, lettin' the sneaker do all the fightin'. Fightin' is what mighty sorcerers are for.
Nelly trots down towards the dead goblin, hoping to find a few of his friends around the corner. She has the presence of mind not to whistle merrily as she approaches, but just barely.
Nelly runs ahead with Lowblo and Daeris scrambling to catch up while still trying to remain quiet for what it is worth.
When Nelly rounds the corner she comes face to face with several goblins who jump back (we will assume everyone was a little surprised.
This cavern is half filled with two large pools of water. A narrow waterfall high in the eastern wall feeds the pool, which drains out the western end of the chamber to form the stream that flows out of the cave mouth below. Low fieldstone walls serve as dams holding the water in. These walls look to recently have been knocked away, likely the pools, now drained, are what flooded the passage. A wide exit stands to thesouth, while two smaller passages lead west. The sound of the waterfall echoes through the cavern, making it difficult to hear.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After seeing the bugbear and goblin leave the area, Chantrea tries her best to quietly get to a standing position at the mouth of the chute, while keeping her bow ready to fire.
Still sick and recovering and about to enter staffing at work. After the next post I am going to commit to two rounds / turns per week with set dates as Aaron had suggested early. That way people will know that if they check Wednesday / Sunday that there will be something to respond to. I will start this tomorrow with a post and follow a Tuesday / Saturday evening post. We'll see if that helps.

Something wonky happened where the wolf attack was exchanged with the goblin. I had already rolled for the goblin and typed the text then the wolf roll messed things up so I took the 6 listed by the goblin as the wolf's Actually all of the attacks got messed up. I am glad I typed responses as I went. Next time I will keep rolls to a separate post.
Lowblo bends to the side and fires his crossbow to the side of Nelly hitting the goblin ahead of him in the room. The bolt sinks into the leg of the goblin, just as he begins to look down a beam of blueish white light streaks from Daeris' outstretched arm striking his shoulder and he falls to the ground in a ragged pile. Lowblo takes the opportunity to duck back into the shadows and reload. Daeris moves forward slightly into the room.
Nelly, prepared to attack the goblin ahead, shrugs slightly and rushes forward grinning toward the goblin just to the north. The goblin, already slightly injured turns to run but Nelly's axe bites deeply into its side, leaving Nelly to have to pull the axe free from the very fresh corpse.
Ruvaar positions himself beside Chantrea, drawing his sword and preparing to defend them both or attack of the opportunity presents itself. Chantrea seeing Ruvaar prepare, takes careful aim toward the area the Bugbear was last seen.
The remaining goblin in the room rushes toward Nelly in desperation, knowing a wolf and a Bugbear lie in the other direction. His all-out attack pays off briefly as his scimitar somehow finds an opening in Nelly's armour and sinks into some flesh (5 Damage. If you have a way to negate this let me know or roll and we will adjust). A second goblin appears from behind the bugbear, emboldened by the first, and rushes toward Nelly with a high pitched wail, stumbling over the corpse of his once companion he makes an awkward lung forward missing Nelly by at least a foot.
"Klarg will crush your bones!", the bugbear hollers as he barks a command to his wolf and backs up slightly. The wolf, which likely would have attacked on its own rushes forward toward Nelly and Daeris lunging at the last second toward Daeris. In the last second, she manages to pull her arm in tight and avoid the wolf's dripping maw.
