Leann is not continuing into the spiked growth if she starts to take damage. She simply stops and retreates from it. I had assumed these were coming in from the same direction of the others. If not, then she is likely to stay near the door the boy is behind, and not rush towards the stone statue at all.
This is how Leann ended up in the north corner. As enemies appeared around her, her attacks of the nearest enemy kept her there.
I picked a ranged attack for the bot so she would be able to reach the target and moves her back so she wouldn't have line of sight for the impending fear effect.
Three rounds towards the enemy would produce a minimum of 8 aoo to go around or going through 40ft of spike growth at 2d4 piercing per 5ft traveled. There were 16 snakes on the board at the time. Also the spike growth in the center and two fireballs taking up the southwest corner
I'm willing to retcon to match player intent but one of the above things would happen to make that movement as described
So, should I apply any of the above scenarios aoe?, aoo? and Leann rolls for a save against fear effect and I'll apply the 11 damage to the.. I'm not actually sure, the shaman or the eidelon, or is this for the round before the eidolon jumped out and the 11 is against the statue?
This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The shaman runs in terror from the volant vision, back toward the south passage behind the hidden door. As he ascends the platform, his heart sinks to his stomach as he sees the dais has been crushed underfoot of the animated statue.
He tries to climb the 9ft wall to the secret portal.
Athletics DC 15 17
With some effort, he succeeds and disappears into the dark passage. As he runs, the thorny vines in the center of the room brown and wither out of existence.
PCs should post for the next round. There's really just the eidolon in the room and he just used divine dread as his action that round.
I don't think Echo made a WIS save, but it's irrelevant as Huarache casts Heroism at second level to target himself and Echo, and the two charge at the eidolon.
Ooc: I think I need to do a better job enumerating the rounds. I deleted a post mid-scribe and I keep thinking I've postedits contents when that may not be the case. I am pleased with the system overall though. It's been moving at about 1 round a day and there is some interesting ambiguity and dynamism in the process. Time will tell if it's sustainable.
I have Etrigan making the save against divine dread, then casting a pair of EB, they both hit. I think I'm missing Sam and I think Cormac, but it's thus bloodlust thing I have to double check. I assumed it was a reaction happening last round against the statue, if that's right it's still his turn.
Edit: it is no action, so having passed the save, Cormac us still up.
Huarache: if you failed the Wis save, you'd have to dash as an action away from the eidolon. Could you still cast heroism?
Post #3177 is Cormac successful in saving vs the fear. I rolled to see who I attacked and it was the spirit. Attacks are in post #3180. Unless I’ve messed up which round is which.

I know you made the fear save, but I thought the attacks posted were one and the same with the bloodlust feature.
Let's just say those apply to the eidolon rather than the statue. It would still make it your turn.
Leann would not take attacks of opportunity, as the snakes themselves are enemies. She would attack snakes on the way to the statue. This way she walks around the spiked growth,w hich is not looking to be an issue any longer regardless, and strike down each snake she comes to.
If she is now at the statue, she strikes at that next...

If I have to dash, then I can't cast Heroism, no. I guess Echo's WIS save is a 4.
EDIT: Echo's FER proceeds as planned, and Huarache repeats the save: 19.
EDIT II: Huarache uses Flash of Genius on that save to make it pass. I flavor this as him casting a sort of cantrippy Heroism on himself or something; you can rule that flavor can't work like that.
Surrounded by 4 snakes, killing 2 of them and moving away from the other two does draw an aoo. There's 16 of these things (at the time) in 3 corners of a room. They were abundant. But I'm moving past all of this. Snakes are gone, thorns are gone. Statue is a statue, now that the eidolon animating it has left it.
The statue persists to be a statue. Being within 60ft of the eidolon requires a save vs frightened condition and forced dash away from the eidolon. DC15 Wis. If Leann makes the save, I'd be thrilled to apply the attacks above to the eidolon, which should be sufficient to end this battle, but I can't if she doesn't make the save.
Action on deck (if the eidolon gets another turn): Suffering Echoes. The eidolon targets a creature it can see within 30 feet of it. The target must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 19 (3d12) psychic damage, and waves of painful memories leap from the target to up to three other creatures of the eidolon’s choice that are within 30 feet of the target, each of which takes 13 (3d8) psychic damage.
The eidolon targets Cormac with a wail of psychic anguish drawing the hidden beasties memories he'd locked in his subconscious to the surface. Confronted with the action of his lycanthropic form, Cormac struggles to reconcile his actions as the eidolon crams years if psychotherapy into 6 seconds of suffering.
(DC15 Wis save to face your past and stop the psychic pain from infecting those near you)
Etrigan blasts the eidolon and in a brilliant flash, the moaning spirit disappears.
The statue remains in the room. It's cracked and chipped, but still in one piece, its jewel-eyes glinting in the torchlight.
If there had been one more successful attack it would have killed the eidolon before he attacked, as it goes, I'm curious to see the outcome of Cormac's Wis save. That will be the end of combat.

I think I already posted this rounds actions (see post # 3182), but I admit being a bit confused over the rounds with this system :-)

we just have to defeat
then, good Sirs we would have won
