Cormac takes it and looks at the pin. (Does it look familiar?) “You can see for yourself they are just through here.” He begins walking back the way he came from just moments ago.
"A curse, good Sir, or blessing, or maybe neither I would be guessing." Etrigan says smiling at Huarache. "If you let me I´ll help with your quest and scour this temple to find the rest."
(Regaining hp after short rest:19)
"Yes my child, I watched your sister die, as she the eyes of the statue loose tried to pry." Etrigan answers Little Gadai "Responsible for her death this temple is, avenge her death and you will find bliss."
<<ooc: Everyone has a short rest. I'm going to say you did so in the barracks where you found the boy, (northeast room) as something happens within the hour in the room you were gathered that would have surely disrupted the respite. Curious how Leann passes the time in the room where she found the boy disemboweled as she waits beside the lad, who himself has no memory of the event. '#Awkward'>>
I'm guessing if you're all here, one of you would notice that the game board the guards were using is actually a map.of the temple you've been roaming around in. [I'll post it soon. Players previously found a very limited map of the rooms you were just in, the gameboard represents those and much more.]
Emerging from the reptilian guards' barracks, a bit more rested, you hear the sounds of a beastly fight underway. The eight-headed, wide-mouthed behemoth with the pincer tail that you left for dead, (technically it was dead), now grapples with a pair of aquatic humanoids, more fish than man. Each holds an improvised spear, no doubt once a piece of lab equipment repurposed to the needs of these denizens of the deep.
<ooc: You don't technically have to join the fight, but the thing you killed will probably try to find and kill you now that it's up and about again.>>
The attentive Etrigan quickly notices the map of the temple and tries to conclude which parts he has visited and which parts he has still to roam. "This map, good Sirs, will be an aid as we, good Sirs, complete our raid."
When the beautiful woman moves to fight the many-headed monstrosity Etrigan, a bit more cautiously, follows her and uses eldritch magic as soon as he has the monstrosity in sight. "Be careful, milady, young brave Leann, come to your aid will poor Etrigan."
"You know, I could have sworn we'd killed that thing!" shouts Huarache as he runs after Leann. Feline Agility (and Dash) to get there if necessary, otherwise:
Attack: 30 Damage: 16
Attack: 27 Damage: 13
Echo's Attack: 13 Damage: 6
Huarache would have cast Mending a bunch of times during the rest to heal Echo up.
(I’m assuming this is at least very similar to the beast I saw before.)
“This beast was with the bird man! Keep an eye out he is the warden.”
Cormac holds back looking around as much as he can for a sign of anyone/anything around sniffing at the air.
Perception : 18
<<Ooc: Complicated. This is the Thessylhydra. They killed it. Just not permanently. If you saw something like this, it was this. It's a unique being.>>
<<The OG PCs know of the warden. He's not a birdman anymore. The bird and man aspects having been restored to their original respective forms via timeshift.>>
Leann can act this round. Combat wouldn't start until you're in range.

As it’s thessylhydra would I know anything about from class features as it could be a monstroity
Sam: You wouldn't know anything about this creature specifically, but I'd say the more general features if it's ilk are known to you, so you could apply class features to tracking it (it drools a trail of acid spit) or roll Int to see details about hydrad more broadly. It would not indicate why this one comes back to life an hour after you killed it. If you want to add in an attack for round 1 go ahead.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tail swipe x Leann 14 for 15
Tail swipe x Leann 24 for 12
(She's the only one confirmed to be close enough)
(slashing damage, and the target is grappled. As an action, the target can escape the grapple by succeeding on a DC 14 Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check (its choice). Until this grapple ends, the thessalhydra can''t use its tail pincer.)
Flurry of bites x Locathah 1 11 for 7 + [roll]4d4[/roll poison
Maw x Locathah 2 14 for Unable to parse dice roll. + 10 acid

at short rest I will use cunning artisan to make a shield out the dead bones

Leann is a Yuan-Ti, seeing such things as the child dead is likely not going to be a very big deal to her...
Hearing the sound of battle, and feeling her blood burn as she sees two, possibly people trying to escape this place, she rushes to join the fight...
Not sure distances, so will assume she will need to dash this round.

Just editing the above.
(Short rest HD rolls)
12, 9, 6, 11, 10, 10, 8, 3
Etrigan flinches as he sees the abomination and reflexively sends two purple beams of crackling energy toward it.
Eldritch blast:25 Damage:9
Eldritch blast:17 Damage:6
"Don´t bother, good Sirs, to take a head,
aim for the body and kill it dead."
He then ducks into full cover in case of any breath weapon business.
(OOC: Can Etrigan make a roll of some kind to identify the creature?)
