If it's Huarache's turn, then he activates the Sunbeam spell from his Duskcrusher, hitting both targets if possible, focusing only on the hunter otherwise. CON 15 or 22 radiant damage.

Really thinking hard how to rile on the above. Since no map, but they are stated as being close together, I'd say there are 8 spaces where one could be relative to the other, so any line cutting theough the plane would hit 2 of them, so 1d4 chance to hit both, using the ranger as the base per your description. That's the easy part. The hard part is ... can a sunbeam pass through an opaque wall? I'm not sure. It's literally written that the beam of light is what leaves the casters hand and moves in a line. An arrow would definitely pass rheough it. A spell probably would unless it says "that you can see" in its description.
I'm erring on the side of favoring the players as a general rule, so that's ultimately why I'm ring it works.
To determine if Saide is in the same line as Barbatos: a 4 hits both 3
Is Cormac up or down? I'm not double checking, so if you think you're still up, you can act, otherwise I'm ruling that you do choose to stumble into a wall of fire I tent on attacking and when I roll initiarive, you collapse and start making death saves.
Leann can still post actions for Round 5.
I'll post for Sam once I have those, unless he's back by then.
Leann takes the dodge (I assumed her action was going to be a dash to get to the construct, if it was closer than that, then dodge works just fine as well.)
Leann takes the dodge (I assumed her action was going to be a dash to get to the construct, if it was closer than that, then dodge works just fine as well.)
What construct? We've got a Thessalhydra, a hellhound and a ranger, the latter 2 inside a wall of fire. Moot of she takes dodge, just trying to lighten the confusion.

That makes sense. It moves of its own accord when summoned, also it's inspired by a succubus paladin from a contest back in 3e, so it didn't immediately click for me.

Leann should make a Dex save with AD against Acid spit.
TH: legendary action Tail Pincer. v. Leann
11 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. 10 slashing damage, and the target is grappled. As an action, the target can escape the grapple by succeeding on a DC 14 Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check (its choice). Until this grapple ends, the thessalhydra can't use its tail pincer.
(OOC: So since we won initiative and acted first Etrigan would have reached full cover (going into that other room for instance) before the ranger attacked with his crossbow and hence the bolt missed or what?)
The flickering flames of the wall sconces cease. The lamp oil had run out early with the rapid advancement of time in the room. The wall of fire probably sheds light for several feet continuing to illuminate most of the room.
The thessalhydra attempts to grapple Leann, moving her to within the heat of the wall of fire, then tries to pin her there.
Str: 23 vs str or dex ability check
Str: 24 vs str or dex ability check
Hearing the commotion, but unable to see it, Sadie comes charging through the wall of fire and pounces on the paladin. Unable to parse dice roll. for 9 DC16 Str save or knocked prone. Barbatos screams as he flings himself through the wall of flame, close upon her heels (within 5 ft)
Barbatos sweeps his cloak at Leann, DC12 Dex.
That's 2 strength checks, one strength save, 2 str or dex saves and one dex save with advantage.
(OOC: So our enemies wasn´t affected by the timewarp then? It´s only Leann and Etrigan standing right? I think we lost Cormac, their character is gone. Do we have any clue about the current state of our enemies hit points wise. Even if Leann seems indestructible, I can´t see us winning this right now I´m afraid)
Everyone still standing g can post, but mind you 1. If initiative has PCs first, unless something disrupts the wall of fire, the dog and ranger would still be inside and 2. The dog and ranger are within 4ft of the wall of fire once they exit the opaque magical barrier.. of these factors are relevant to your actions, I suggest using an if/then ro cover either possibility. As this effects both ranged and melee attacks, it's likely to come up.

"Winning" does seem mathematically unlikely, at least through conventional means. Yeah, he's pretty messed up, but DnD mechanics, even at 1hp he's still up and per the stat block he doesn't go down unless he's at 0 with healing turned off. The thessalhydra died twice so far, but it won't stay dead for some reason. Looks OK about now. Sadie's not doing well, but she'll fight to the last breath for her master.
Time shifts are funny that way. I don't claim to fully u detstand them myself (in game I mean. I know the mechanics, just not 100% lore) it can have effects on some creatures but it's very specific about which ones. Seems like the question is "I'd time t passes with no change in the environment, what happens or what happened here already. In at Lear one room, time advances for creature and the environment, but there's a caveat in there
(Then Leann wouldn't have even bothered with the time thing. That was useless and quite frankly not at all useful in this situation. I also believe the hydra-thing has to actually hit to grapple Leann, as they have no hands and cannot just do a grapple action. Not seeing how the ranger can do a cloak sweep, as they are inside the wall of fire, as you stated, and thus cannot even see Leann, as the wall is opaque.)

That is the whole point if the time mechanic: It's a gamble. It says so explicitly in the mechanics I posted, neither PCs nor NPCs know what it will do.
The ranger is stated as flinging himself through the wall of flame behind Sadie III when she emerges. They are both outside the wall of fire circle, though if they weren't, they could still attack through the opaque wall. I am still waiting on save vs acid, and I think fireball from earlier, (straight roll, with AD from dodge and FB being a spell canceling out). Though that does remind me, AD and DA for the dex save on the wall of fire would have no Disadvantage because of magical (Yuan-yi) vs. restrained .
And no, grapples are in place of attack roll to hit, it's a contest determined by ability checks. "You try to seize the target by making a grapple check instead of an Attack roll..."
Grappling:
Grappling
When you want to grab a creature or wrestle with it, you can use the Attack action to make a Special melee Attack, a grapple. If you’re able to make multiple attacks with the Attack action, this Attack replaces one of them.
The target of your grapple must be no more than one size larger than you and must be within your reach. Using at least one free hand, you try to seize the target by making a grapple check instead of an Attack roll: a Strength (Athletics) check contested by the target’s Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check (the target chooses the ability to use). If you succeed, you subject the target to the Grappled condition (see Conditions ). The condition specifies the things that end it, and you can release the target whenever you like (no action required.
This bit is meta, but worth noting:
The TH has the grappler feat. It's a big part of what he does, so he has it. If I wanted to, I could make the grapple checks with advantage, but I didn't, because bounded accuracy is less exciting, the mechanic result in more middling outcomes than a single roll does.
Also, this only happens if the initiative comes out in the monsters' favor, or if the PCs do nothing to successfully avert it. You're basically all dabbling in divination. : )
If it's Huarache's turn, then he activates the Sunbeam spell from his Duskcrusher, hitting both targets if possible, focusing only on the hunter otherwise. CON 15 or 22 radiant damage.
