(OOC was really wondering how the rhyming was going to work lol).
Immediately before coming into sight of the Temple- Tetrevess, now looking like a hulking lizardfolk clad in skins and carrying a club, says in your head (telepathic bond) “well, as a sacrifice prisoner you would not need to say much, just pretend to be bound. But if you feel more comfortable hiding on the ceiling I trust your instincts. “ . Then to everyone he says into your head- “shall we? These spells won’t last forever!“
"Excellent Barril, just try to stay close. I think you better decide if you should stay behind, in front...or above us." Etrigan/Barbatos says to Barril as they make final preparations to re-enter the Temple of Moloch.
(OOC: So umm yeah, the question on magic items for Etrigan remains I guess. Logan will turn into a Lizardfolk. I guess Huarache could have something useful here as well, but unless Shoni posts or Wile bots Huarache he would need to go in as a sacrfice for now.)
“I will enter as a prisoner. One more prisoner could determine whether the group is stopped for questioning or ushered ahead unmolested.” Barril says out loud.
Etrigan/Barbatos takes the lead into the temple, Grygaxx returning to his shoulder invisible reverting to his natural form. He will be followed, I guess, by the two prisoners (Huarache and Barril) followed by two lizardfolk guards (Tetrevess and Logan).
You meet no challenges as you descend into the temple. The sound of clawed footsteps a familiar one to those who dwell within, whether you are seen or not by hidden o servers, you do not know, but it's probably best not to linger.
Etrigan/Barbatos telepathically communicates with Huarache asking which areas they already searched in their first visit to the temple. Then Etrigan/Barbatos makes his way to the closest unexplored room trying to avoid encounters with the leadership for now if possible. If it helps let say we search the temple clockwise starting with the room north of the entrance. The objective right now is to find Sam, Leann and the missing parts, although in reality a rescue isn´t that important since Leann is inactive and Sam, well he isn´t a prisoner no more.
Barril shuffles along with his head down and the body language of a defeated captive. His eyes are, however, raised and ever shifting even though his head is still.

Doing his best to imitate a dumb, gruff and evil lizardfolk barbarian, Tetrevess marches behind the group, occasionally cussing in draconic under his breath with a guttural voice. He studies the passages, attempting to line them up with the map in his memory.
<The original crew was tasked by Moghadam to retrieve the gems and the gemsmith. Huarache could have passed that on. You've all seen the top 3 rooms.>
Heading down the long hallway, you pass the corridor to your right, recognized as the area where Mack and Big Gadai were being tortured by Stalos, the owl-headed man. <This area has been partially explored.>
Next on your right is a corridor lined on either side by cells, one of which Barrill just escaped. At the end of this hall is the desk of the warden, upon which sits a large perch. <This area had been partially explored.>
At the end of the hall, you can hear animal noises coming from the hall beyond, headed south. Growls and hoots <this area is new to everyone>
Samogri will re enter the temple and find the group “you two” telling the lizardfolk “follow us prisoners must be check before in prison ment” he nods at his guards to flank them and take them to thesslar chamber
Etrigan/Barbatos confidently enters the hall expecting these animals to be caged and perhaps even captured by Barbatos."Look around for those gems, Huarache can help you identify them." Etrigan/Barbatos messages the others as he scans the entered hall.
(OOC: Umm I do not understand what Sam is doing now and quite frankly I have to struggle with deciphering what he meant in his last post. Did he just realize we were in the temple and just found us outside that hall or what? If that is the case Etrigan would message Tetrevess that Sam is one of the adventurers they thought they would rescue although he is acting really strange now and perhaps has turned on Huarache for some inexplicable reason.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Barril raises his head and actively surveys for avenues of movement that will allow for either escape or more advantageous positioning to attack from.
If he was party to the message informing Tetrevess that Sam was a “friendly” (not sure if the telepathy is a party line or not), he will try to ascertain if there was deception in Sam’s instructions to the lizardfolk, indicating that he might be leading the guards into an ambush. Insight: 11
<ooc: I don't really know what Sam is doing, either, exactly. Public to plaers: Legion4 said he wanted to be evil, which is fine; the party is doing jobs for evil NPCs in the quest of something bigger. Makes sense. I did so no PvP, though. I think Sam should clarify for all of us what he's doing, so we can all engage better.>
<that aside, Barrill would know the corridor where he was imprisoned was a dead end, ending at the wardens office where he recovered his gear. The other side route looks like a dead end at the torture/ operating tables, and the third passage shoots all the way down, opening to a larger room beyond.
The latter pair of corridors have rooms or halls lining the sides. Based on the description if Barril's efforts, does he take the long hall at the end, then? The one with animal noises?>
(OOC- evil role play is fine, but PVP is not fine unless we all signed up for it. The point of the game is fun after all. Plus- if it comes down to one person vs rhe rest of the party, the party can always easily kill the troublemaker. : )
(OOC: I agree with Tesservett. Also I think Etrigan/Barbatos is leading and Barril is still in the earlier stated formation, although Huarache and Barril can message Etrigan/Barbatos as we go along which areas would be pointless to search. We are now entering the room with the animal noises as per post #3558 :-)
Samogri will re enter the temple and find the group “you two” telling the lizardfolk “follow us prisoners must be check before in prison ment” he nods at his guards to flank them and take them to thesslar chamber
Tetrevess says to Samogri in primitive Draconic “we stay with boss Barbitos. You come with or no?”
As you turn the corner of the hall [northeast corner of map, (under the compass/Moloch's face) to look south], a huge cacophony of shrieks and hooting is raised from the animals kept here. The walls of the room are lined with cages filled with owls—one pair each of barn owls, horned owls, screech owls, and snowy owls. Against one wall, a huge cage holds a giant owl. In addition, several terrariums hold live mice, lizards, and small snakes used as food for the owls. Various cabinets hold prepared owl food, supplies, and implements for both the care and dissection of these creatures.

Barril nods and replies telepathically, unsure if he’s sending as well as receiving, “Prisoner it is then.”
He silently looks to each in the group to see if his thoughts were received by all, one, or none.
(Humorously, his thoughts also lisp, if anyone “heard” him.)

Barbatos: backpack, cloak made of rust monster feathery antennae. He has a ruddy complexion, green eyes and a deep persuasive voice.

(Right. Barril has not broken formation nor revealed that he is not a prisoner ... yet.)

<too bad there are no druids in the party>
