The muddy floor rises in the center of the room, water flowing around the island of mud deposited and washed away by the subterranean river. Steam rises from the warm mud and drifts on the wind toward the far side of the cavern, where the water exits trough the gaps in the iron bars running horizontally across the opening, each set 6 inches from the next.
As you step onto the muddy shore, you feel there is solid earth beneath, but inches of mud, thicker at the edge of the island, allow your feet to sink, making tracks as you walk. there are no other tracks present in the mud.

Gravitys thieves tools make a squelched noise as they dig small holes ino the mud. After some uneventful probing, Gravity hits a spot which starts to smoke with a sizzling noise. Retracting rhe thieves tools, it's apparent they have started to melt. They are damaged but could be repaired. The hole poked in the mud quickly closes, but another opens just beside it, from which emanates a bright green light, joines an instant later by another, inches from the first.

Among the stalagtites on the ceiling, Tetrevess sees something black and viscous dripping along the ceiling. 6
The mephit, slime and Paraelemental are all caught off guard by the icy spell. The mephit explodes in a cloud of steam, warming the air in a 10ft radius within the chilly cone.
Gravity (within 5 ft if the Paraelemental, she just poked it with thieves tools) and Sam are up. (I know he hasn't rolled initiative, but to keep the flow of the posts, just have all the Players go together at this point.
Gravity shifts into the bestial form of a Coyote when her wet locks of hair transforms into a mohawk that discharges electric spark. She wields the Flame Tongue Scimitar and slashes at the nearby paraelemental with the weapon twice.
