"When you say 'Dark Dwarf' were their clothes dark, or their skin dark? Don't mean to sound racist, but fighting a group of mountain dwarves is a lot different than fighting a group of Duergar"
Reggarn, hearing all the noise, walks over to see Grub. "Grub! Be at ease, we will not harm you. I promise that at the very least I will get you out of here safely."
When Reggarn approaches, Randrak turns to him, "You might have a point, Reggarn, after all. I like this goblin already." He then smirks before turning back to the goblin to see if he has anything else to say.

"Stay with me Grub. I will do everything I can to keep you safe. Would you tell me more about your beliefs? Like why would your people need a dragon's egg?"
"Wait," Randrak says turning to Alanis. "Teleportation magic? I thought he was talking about a cave that was closed off. Are you telling me that what he is describing is actually more magic?"

„Bright circles that they went through and that are now just gone? Yes, that might very well be magic, I fear.“
Alanis nods at Randrak.
“But of course I could be wrong. I kind of hope I am. Because that would be rather advanced magic, actually. Let’s hear what Grub here can tell us, fingers crossed he indeed just meant a cave entrance.“
“Well, Master Reggarn asked precisely for a chance like this, and Grub here has indeed been very helpful.”
Alanis gives the goblin another careful smile.
“But I reckon we might need to figure out a way to keep him out of the public eye, both for his sake and ours. Do we have a way to disguise or hide him for the time being?”
Alanis’ hand subconsciously closes around the flask she infused during her preparations and pulling it out she grows thoughtful looking at it.
“There might actually be something I could do, if that is how we choose to go about it. Would need to test it out beforehand, though, as to avoid nasty surprises.”
"Yes, he is under my protection for now. I don't have a way to disguise Grub, so if someone else can help me with that I would appreciate it." Reggarn then pulls out his rations and offers them to Grub. "Are you hungry Grub? I don't know if you like what I have but you are more than welcome to it." he then whispers to Alanis, "Thanks for having my back on this."
“Elves? Where where you when these ‘elves’ made these circles for ‘ Big Lugz’? And what can you tell us about him?” Mercwri speaks softy to Grub so as not to send him into a panic. “And how did it come about that you became involved with that bunch of ‘charming’ folk?”
Grub gives you a grateful smile Alanis and at the mention of food from Reggarn he reaches out and snatches the offered rations; his goblin instincts taking over as he gobbles it back greedily.
He looks up at the mention of Big Lugz, "Blue skin, dark hair, two horns." he points to either side of his forehead, "Big Lugz is...big... he leads us. He takes us deep into the ground to find the dwarf city... and then he burns it and smashes it." Grub forgets himself for a moment and chuckles at the memory. "A big victory for goblins."
He remembers himself then as you speak Mercwri, "I am a goblin... I was born a goblin, that's how I came to serve... dark elves were at dwarf city waiting... they made the bright circles and sent us here. That is all Grub knows."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Randrak's face falls as Grub describes the destruction of Baldenvelt, "On second thoughts, I don't think this goblin is any different than the rest of them."
However, Randrak tries to recall if he has ever heard of anything fitting the description of 'Big Lugz'. The description didn't really sound like a goblin to him.

Randrak follows Mercwri to the boulder, and upon hearing the goblin, he asks, "Bad fire? What do you mean, bad fire?"

"Magics!" squeals Grub. "Bright sparks and terrible flames. Grub hates magics."
He looks pitifully between the two of you, nervously licking his lips.

Alanis has joined the others and is hesitantly waving at Grub.
“Bright circles? So teleportation magic…?“
she murmurs. Carefully smiling at Grub she asks as gently as she can:
“Who send you and your people here, Grub? Who made those bright circles?“

Grub looks hopefully between you all before speaking, "Big Lugz paid the elves to make bright circles for us and here we came."
"What's the plan?" Uldran interjects. "Are we taking the goblin back with us?"
