Coming out of his rage, Freak wipes a half-chewed ear off his shoulder and something less defined from his hair. He looks around for anything useful the monster might have had problems digesting.
Mercwri will take a look around the chamber, checking the trogs for any interesting things, coins, jewels, weapons, piles of stuff stripped from the gibbering thing’s victims.
”How are we holding up?” He asks everyone in general.

"Dvori. Charmed. Hakhg." The poisoned dwarf's choked answer is punctuated by a wet cough. He grits his teeth at the thought of stomaching anything, let alone a barrel of salt water. Nearly enough to make a healthy grown dwarf hurl without any chemical inducement.
Freak and Mercwri you search around in the mess of body parts and dead troglodytes for a while trying to sift through the muck for anything useful or interesting. Between you, you find :
Several discarded coin purses containing a total of 2000 cp, 800 sp, 80 gp
A bag of gems containing Azurite (10 gp), Banded agate (10 gp), Blue quartz (10 gp), Malachite (10 gp), Moss agate (10 gp), Tiger eye (10 gp), Turquoise (10 gp)
Freak see a small threadbare satchel discarded against the far wall. Picking it up you discover that it contains several vials containing potions and a couple of scrolls.
Spell Scroll (Vicious Mockery), Spell Scroll (Burning Hands), Potion of Climbing, 2 x Potion of Healing
Randrak as you pick up the statue you notice it feels warm to the touch and for the briefest of moments you think you hear a distant scream.
Freak takes what he finds to show and share with everyone, including the Spell Scroll (Vicious Mockery), Spell Scroll (Burning Hands), Potion of Climbing, 2 x Potion of Healing.
“I no be having any healings nor need any,” Mercwri said. He check his ‘pockets’ and make sure the remaining two bombs are secure. “Perhaps we should exit through the front doors? Clean out any resid-u-al trogs? And, if everyone would take some of these coppers, there be a few of them t’ spread around.”
OOC: Just checked back and only one boom stick left Mercwri! Thank the gods lol!
As you all gather to leave the cavern the flumphs close in around you, bathing you with their soft pink glow. You all stand mesmerised as their tentacles reach down and brush the tops of your heads and shoulders. You feel no threat from their approach and do not resist.
"Thank you." a choir of voices speak into your minds. "The hungry ones are gone and our home is returned to us. A great darkness drove them down from the mountain, a darkness with which some amongst you are familiar. In gratitude we offer you the gift of knowledge."
You all see a great stone outcrop shrouded in mist. Atop the stone something moves, huge claws raking into the hard rock, a snaking tail wrapping around its base; and then as the vision closes in the head emerges and two eyes, orbs of green light lock with your own. The green dragon rears back and with a roar twin jets of noxious gas billow out toward you. You all come to yourselves with a gasp and the strange flumphs are all gone.
"I had a really close encounter with a dragon. I saw one eat my comrades right in front of me. Picked them up right from inside their barracks. One minute we were playing cards, the next they were travelling the gullet of a dragon," Randrak recalls. "Though we did have another encounter of sorts with another dragon. Far more friendly."

“The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.” ― Gary Gygax
Alanis, you know that green dragons are associated with poison, but little more. There are no particular legends that spring to mind concerning green dragons, though dragons in general are feared throughout the underdark. There is rumoured to be a dragon breeding ground called the vaults, north of the burning ocean; somewhere in the northern reaches.
You all continue toward the cave exit and eventually step out to stand beneath the stonesky once more. It is a relief to be rid of the troglodyte stench!
Making your way down to the village you are greeted by the old miner Grockle who led you all to the caves earlier. (Reggarn you would have met this fellow on the way in, Dvori to you he is just another smelly miner).
"Ah you found them then!" Grockle grins at you Reggarn and then to you all, "Well? How'd it go? I see you are one Dwarf down and two Dwarves up! How did it go?"
“Well, double bloody frothing troll feces! As if this little dance ain’t been enough, now there be dragons. What’s next, big purple people eaters,” Mercwri seems a bit put out. “I seem t’ ‘member wanting to help a bunch of farmer types wild wild animals, now it’s blasted dragons!”

Finally below the stonesky one more, Randrak stretches his arms checking himself for any remaining aches or pains. He feels a pain in his lower back where he thinks he might have torn a muscle. He also thinks he has one or two ribs that have cracked. Though the bite wound has stopped bleeding.
"I don't know about anyone else, but I think I need to take a short rest before we do anything else. I don't want to be surprised by anything whilst travelling. Though what I could do with is a good night's rest. I won't be right until morning."

„I agree. For one Dvori here really needs the rest to get back on his feet. I still recommend salt water, but that is up to you. And that cloister isn’t quite around the corner if I remember correctly. You would know exactly, I presume, Master Reggarn?“
To Grockle, she responds.
“We found the Troglodytes that have been endangering you as well as some greater monstrosity they seemed to have been indulging. We managed to defeat any that we found with the help of some very benevolent creatures, the Flumphs. If you haven’t already and you come across them in the future, you should really try to befriend them.“

Reggarn shakes his head at the violence and then pipes up, "If anyone needs some healing I have a couple of spells I can use."
Randrak, believing he heard a scream, turns to the rest of the group. "Did anyone else hear that scream?"
He holds up a finger to signal for everyone to be quiet, and tries listening again for another scream.

Randrak, what ever it was has now passed. The cavern is silent except for the gushing air sounds made by the flumphs.

„I ... I did.“
Alanis stammers, overwhelmed.
“Can‘t say I feel any more prepared for this than you...“
Her ever analyzing mind tries to search her memories for something, anything useful about what she just saw despite the shock.
Nature: 23 (for green dragons in general)
History: 16 (is that dragon maybe actually a known entity in history or legend? Did anything like this happen before?)
Other than that she only knows what Hitticus told her and can only hope that the others can offer some insight on this.
