The next match is the next event! The time has come again to determine who will walk away as champion of the coliseum. Mad Science versus the Will of the World. Arcane Magic versus Primordial Forces! The Arena Shapers work over time trying to clear an arena for the match, before settling on the Pitts(apparently, because the dice gods are fickle like that). Xeno and Grianna, make any final preparations, choose a starting position in Row 1 or 10, and roll initiative!

To win: 2... Survival - After 3 rounds a lethal hazard will appear. Defeat your enemies while you still can.

The conditions: 2...   Dusk. In the dim failing light, the shadows of the arena grow long. Checks relying on sight will suffer disadvantage without Darkvision.

The Map: 3.... The Pits' - A fairly typical fighting ring in a hole in the ground. Its a short 10 foot drop into the pit, and the edges are sloped and course. They would be easy to climb. In the bottom of the pit, the earth is turned up from fighting, yet tufts of grass sprout up here and there, as though it recently had grass all throughout. On either side of the pit is a set of steps. You and your opponent are on opposite ends with wooden walls for cover.

Grianne streatches as she takes her position in the edge of her side (B or O, just out of line of sight) her new staff flares with power as she uses its Inherent magic to turn her skin as hard as tree bark.

Xeno takes the stage looking absolutely decked out to the max again, and with a clay mini-me with bat wings joining the managrie! "Aight Butter, Enox, and Kenny! Let's give it 110%!" He declares, then looks to Kenny. "Especially you Kenny, because your on thin ice, my boy! THIN! ICE!"

Getting set up in advance and to subscribe to channel again. Subject to item tweaks based on winners of 5th level match.

Start Position: H10, Kenny the Turret at i10, Butters the Owl at see spoiler, and Enox the Servant at C10.

Prep/Ability:
Hours before match casting Mage Armor on Butters before using Arcane Recovery get back 1st level slot. Also casting Aid at 3rd level on Xeno, Butters, and [Tooltip Not Found].

 As the contestants enter the arena (and a certain Overlord remembers their job...again), Marmaduke once again flies out to an already excited crowd to announce with a booming voice. "Ladies, Gentlemen, and All things inbetween or beyond! Welcome to the Coliseum!" The crowd roar and cheers for a moment. "Today is the day! The day to once again see WHO will be our raining champ!"

"Can I get some howls, some roars, and maybe a few caw caws for our wolf in sheep's clothing, Grianne Wildpaw!" An Elven Woman in Hide armor wearing enchanted oak-wood strapped around her wrists and calves like bracers and greaves, marches out bare footed wielding a mystical staff to bolster herself.

"And hailing from parts unknown, and certainly looking the part in every way unimaginable! I give you, Xeno the Mad!" A hybrid between elf, gecko, and some kind of crustacean steps into the arena with a slew of semi-living inventions and an owl very bad at hiding.

"Let the Championship Match Begin!!!"

Xeno lizard crawls his way over walls and down the side of the pit. He commands Kenny to reposition as well before planting and activating the smoke bottle. Butters takes to the air after, and flies into the thick of things to search for Grianne by sound. If found it chirps her rough coordinates for Xeno. And Enox flies and advances on his own.

Ma-Xeno: H5.
Ba: Command Kenny to spider climb/move to I8.
Ac-Xeno: Activate Eversmoking Bottle.

Ma-Butters: H4 and 20ft into the air.
Ac-Butters: Search using Keen Hearing - 19.

Xeno and his menagerie all advance towards the center of the arena. From which point, the madman releases a thick fog to obscure the sight. Even without sight, the owl is able to pinpoint Grianne's position.

(@All: For simplicity sake, seeing as the smoke is more than sufficient to fill the vast majority of the arena, everyone is considered blinded unless sensing through alternate means (ie. Tremor Sense, Blindsight, etc))

Grianne sees the smoke and grins. All according to plan. She runs headlong into the smoke, her form starting to shimmer as she becomes obscured.

Grianne transforms into Grianneconda aiming to capitalize on the artificer's clear mistake. But not only did he narrowly avoids being captured in her coils, but even seemed to have seen her coming! (Results unchanged, but no advantage due to Xeno's Dagger of Blindsight.)

Butters swoops in to distract while kenny's commanded to move in and fire on the snake. Kenny misses as usual, but Xeno still tries to retreats further away and fire bolts of super charged fire rays down on the half-blind snake lady! Enox dodges but does nothing else actually helpful.

Griannaconda loses her barkskin. She keeps track of Xeno but decides to try to even the playing fields numbers and attacks the critter next to her.

Grianne slithers her way closer and at least avenges herself upon turret, nearly crushing it utterly. But some scrap of "life" remained in the thing. (18 damage to Kenny)

(@Ani: The Owl Familiar(b) and Force Turret(k) were to the east. Since constrict has only a 5ft range, I'm assuming you go for the Turret, as the owl is 25ft in the air(aka 10ft above Grianne). Unfortunately, as it is also a magical object, and not a creature that can suffer conditions, no advantage conferred, but attack still hits regardless.)

(@Ran: Because the turret is nevertheless restrained and in melee, I'm making the ruling now that attacks with it will be at disadvantage for simplicity sake.)

Butters flies away at Xeno's mental urging and takes evasive actions, before the madman steps further back unleashing several more supercharged rays of fire just outside of Grianne's blindsight. Kenny is then ordered to fire as well from among the coils if it comes down to it.

With that, a more sinister, black gas begins filling the arena from the staging areas unhindered by the ongoing fog cloud...

(@Ran: Considering its an object and not a creature and is technically being 'held' by Grianne, I'm ruling for now it pushed her, but didn't break the condition. Found nothing conclusive to go against this, but will continue to research this very odd subject.)

At some unspoken signal Butters flies one way while taking evasive action, and Xeno runs another way. If able to get out her sensory range, another barrage of supercharged rays of fire. If not, he cranks up a dial on his staff unleashing a powerful thunderous wave of power to blow her away. He also finally gives Enox the command to fly a certain way and unleash his own hidden force cannon on Grianne.
