 Xeno grits his teeth and endures, before trying his same trick one final time. And if that's not enough, because of course its not, he has Enox shoot her after moving over. The whole clawing gas had him nervous, but not so nervous as to bother directing bothers elsewhere.

Xeno, deciding to give it the old scholar's try one last time, and actually does his grandpa proud for once. While Grianne is still reeling, the little homunculus rubs salt in the wound with a blast of his own after relocating itself.

As for the gas, it finally creeps its way forward, covering at least the owl in its deadly embrace..

Grianne feels the burn of her own spell, causing her to drop the spell.

No longer having the energy to remake such an intense beam of death, she musters what she has to drop a new moonbeam on Xeno as she repositions back into the middle

Grianne loses her focus one way or another. But, this wouldn't stop her from summoning another beam of death in hopes of bringing down the irksome scientist.

 "Cutting this one close, my dear!"Xeno taunted even as he felt his skin pop and sizzle. Then, he tries his trick again of skeedadling one way, only to hook Grianne. Then move out of the light while Enox blasts her. Butters at last as well now fearing for his life as the gas started to get oppresive.

Xeno luck seems to all but dry out. For while he does resist the rays of death better now that its weakened, he can't quite land the hook. All the same relocates, as does Butters. Meanwhile Enox scores a surprisingly decent hit on the druid.

As much as the artificer and bird has fled the gas, it pursues, blanketing them and part of Grianne's Moonbeam within it once more. The field of safety has decreased once more...

Grianne maintains her focus despite Xeno's efforts, and redirects the beam. Now catching both hybrid and owl in its deadly light. She then mends her wounds as best she can, but the strain of combat appears to be draining much of her strength as well!

 "C'mon old chap. Stiff up a lip."Xeno pepped both himself and Butters enough to endure. He jaunts one way while butters goes another, and from the gas, put away his staff to unleash a bolt of chaotic energy from the markings on his arm full power. Afterwards he gets in the safe zone and commands Enox again to blast her as well.

Ma-Butters: i4, Staying 15ft in air.
Ac-Butters: No Action.

Ma-Xeno: H5.
Ac: Cast Chaos Bolt from Aberrant Dragonmark on Grianne.
Attack: 26 Damage: 17 Poison.

Xeno and Managrie moves around again, blasting strange beams of force and poison(of all things!) at grianne, and land each one to the druid's dismay. Still, she holds on just as stubbornly as the artificer.

Despite being denied its pound of flesh, the gas does not shrink again this time around. Yet...

Grianne is being pushed to her absolute limit. She pulls what she can from her nearly depleted energy and heals herself before turning to instinct to attack a foe she can only barly see in the thick fog. Poison drops from her fingers and savage claws grasp for Xeno.

Grianne, pushed to her limit, draws upon primal savagery as an elf to put an end to her infuriating foe once and for all! Alas, the fog continues to thwart her efforts. Nevertheless, she mends her wounds and prepares to fight till the bitter end.

 Xeno grumbles, but at this point is too tired to even taunt Grianne. He instead broke out the staff again, and with the flip of a switch, transforms tip into a super cattleprod to strike down Grianne. Then its Enox turn again to blast her.

Ac: Cast Shocking Grasp on Grianne.

Xeno and Managrie return to basics nwo that things are down to the wire. Though Xeno is able to catch the Druidess off-guard in the side, Enox returns to form and misses their shot of arcane force.

Grianne manages one last trick. As Xeno strikes her, a last defense is risen as Grianne seems to absorb some of Xenos spell energy. She spends the very last of her energy for one last heal before desperately trying to strike her foe.

Xeno admits, studies her positioning, and then stabs using the cattleprod again. If that's not enough to bring her down after, then Enox gets the command to fire again.
